As Meek started towards Nicki's tour bus he could barely hold back his giddiness. He was a hood nigga and rarely let his emotions show, but this time he couldn't help it. He had finally gotten his big break. He had gone from battle rapping and doing break ins in Philly to going on tour with Nicki Minaj in Los Angeles. All of his hard work had really paid off. He was already grateful enough to get signed to Rick Ross's label, but now he had really made it. His mother would be proud. Being on tour was enough, but the big difference was that he would be on tour with the perfect, beautiful Nicki Minaj.

He was doing what every man wished he could do. Meek felt special. A few days ago Meek got the call to let him know who he'd be going on tour with. When his manager told him it was Nicki, he jumped out of bed and headed straight to the barbershop and the mall. He had to look right for her. Of course, he had a little crush on the Trinidadian rapper. What man didn't? He wanted to make his move.

Surely the beauty didn't have a boyfriend. Because if she did he would have been seen pictures of them together. What man could resist showing off Nicki? He was positive she was single so he was on a mission to make her his.

He was in a great mood this morning. Nothing could bring his mood down. He was on his way to meet the Nicki Minaj. He shoved his hands into his front pockets to keep them from shaking. He approached the steps to the tour bus and opened up the door. There were managers sitting down, and cooks bringing in food. The atmosphere was a little more busier than he had anticipated.

Nicki was on the phone with someone. He didn't know what to do, so he just stood like an awkward misplaced tree. People rushed around him, catering to Ms. Minaj's every wishes. It was as if they didn't notice him. They continued to work and tidy up around him. Finally, after what seemed like forever, Nicki finally looked up from her phone and looked at him. Then she looked around and at him again.

"Can I help you?" She batted her eyelashes.

"Uh..." he didn't know what to say. He was supposed to be smooth but she was just so beautiful.

"Oh you must be the delivery boy! You're kind of late." She said.

"I'm uh-"

"Well where's my Chinese food?" She furrowed her brows.

He continued to stutter. Nicki's eyes went wide.

"Okaaaay." She drew out.

"Security! I think another crazed fan snuck onto the bus!" She called out.

Security rushed toward to the front of the bus promptly. Meek raised his hands in surrender. "No, no! I'm not a crazed fan I'm your new tour buddy! My name is Meek." He exclaimed.

"Oh." Nicki murmured, "well in that case, welcome aboard!" She smiled at him.

She engulfed him into a hug. Meek felt his heart rate speed up and a smile form on his face. Maybe she would like him after all. The hug only lasted a second. Meek couldn't enjoy it for as long as he wanted to, as Nicki's phone began to ring. She let go of him quickly and scampered over to it.

She looked at the phone and her face lit up. Differently from when she had smiled at Meek. Like someone important was calling her.

She answered. "Hey baby."

"Wassup Onika, what you doin'?" The voice asked. She began to take her conversation elsewhere, to the back of the bus, for more privacy.

Nicki audibly chuckled. "The same thing I was doing when you called thirty minutes ago!"

"Mi just miss ya lots. Mi haffi see ya soon gyal." Robyn replied on the other end.

"It's barely been a day. You're such a softie." Onika laughed. She loved the affection Robyn showed her. Even though they had barely been together for a week, they had such great chemistry that it felt as if they had been dating since the day Robyn met her.

"What ya got me on pause fah, Onika? You betta' take me off and lemme see dem pretty eyes and unibrow." Robyn teased.

"I do not have a unibrow!" Onika protested.

"Mmhm." Robyn hummed. "What's that about a new tour partner I heard about?"

"Lil eavesdropping ass," Nicki rolled her eyes, "but his name is Meek. I guess he's a rapper."

"Meek? I ain't never heard of that nigga before." She commented, putting a joint to her lips.

"I know. But I didn't really have a choice of who I could pick. It was a last minute type of thing." Nicki explained.

"Should have been me on tour with ya." Robyn quipped. Nicki laid down on her bed and stretched out.

"You smoke so much, baby." Nicki noted.

"Don't worry 'bout dat princess. Mi so bored without ya. I don't know what I'ma do for the next few months."

"Don't act like you don't have friends. What are you doing next week?"

"Puma release, photo shoot with Dior, therapy appointment, studio time, Ellen, shopping with Mel and Rahim, dinner with Mama Fenty, more music videos, ya know, just boring shit." Robyn droned on as if her schedule was nothing. To say the least, her schedule was nothing in her eyes.

To anyone else, her schedule would seem fun, exciting, and busy. But without Nicki, Robyn felt like she was just going through the motions until the two would be reunited. Her work wasn't boring and most people who worked office jobs or sat in front of a desk all day answering calls in a monotone voice would obviously much rather do what Robyn did for a living. Who didn't want the life of Rihanna?

But for some reason the Island beauty couldn't help but feel that her life was so dull without her other half. A long time ago, the Robyn before she met Onika, (Robyn began splitting her life up into two halves: pre-Onika and post-Onika) she would indulge in whatever substance made her feel good. Robyn's past, muddied with drug abuse, depression, and self loathing, now seemed like a sad book written by someone else, it seemed crazy to think that the life described once a few years ago could have been her own.

If she were pre-Onika right now, Robyn would be injecting her veins with what some would refer to as sweet bliss. But she was done with that life. The shock of horror on Onika's face when she saw Chris in his demented, drug filled haze was enough to make Robyn not even think of drugs ever again. The sight almost made Robyn sick herself.

She wondered, had she ever looked like that?

She couldn't live with herself if she had ever forced Onika to see her like that. The day Robyn did that, she had silently vowed to herself, was the day she gave herself back to God.

Admittedly, growing up was hard for Robyn. She was talented, yes, but most people failed to realize that celebrities have struggled just as much as regular people. Robyn's own drug abuse mirrored that of her father's. Ronald Fenty, who she took after, had not only passed on his temper but his vulnerability toward narcotics, as well as the forehead Robyn inherited that Onika loved to pick on so much.

Witnessing her father struggle as a kid did more to Robyn psychologically than she could have ever imagined.

After Robyn's rehabilitation she knew she still had a long way to go. But damn, was getting clean off of something that made you feel so good such a hard task, which was another reason Robyn was so grateful for the short, dark-eyed girl that had recently blessed her life. She had just hoped that by releasing herself from her previous addiction, that she wouldn't get caught up in another one, Onika's love.

Love.

As Robyn watched the beauty on her phone screen drone on and on she couldn't help but think she was moving fast. They hadn't even been together a week but Robyn was already thinking of love? To be fair, she thought, what is the point of a relationship if you don't want to fall in love? It was a scary thought but at best, she knew that she would find herself falling hard for her.

Meek, on the other hand was sitting anxiously at the front of the tour bus, his hands clasped together and his foot tapping in sync with a rhythm only he could hear in his head. While his anxiety lessened a little, he gazed around the tour bus to calm the rest of his nerves, which were still buzzing with excitement.

He wiped the sweat from his brow with his sweatshirt sleeve. It wasn't hot, but a nice day with just the right amount of sunny and cloudy. Outside was breezy, but inside the bus was just the right temperature.

Damn. Everything was perfect in here. The upholstery he sat on was pink and fuzzy. Hell, the majority of the bus was pink, whatever wasn't was a cool jet black color. He could hear a loud cackle from the back of the bus. Of course, it was Nicki herself. Still, her presence seemed surreal. Who would have thought Rihmeek Williams would be sitting in the same space as Nicki Minaj?

They used to clown him for his braids, but look at him now. He was going to be a real star. He thought back fondly on watching Nicki's music videos on MTV late at night. He remembered her with Wayne and Drake. He thought Nicki was supposed to be the only female in Young Money, but it seemed to him that they had a second: Drake.

Even though the group was long disbanded, Meek never liked the whiny Toronto rapper. Something about him just irritated him. Plus, word was that he didn't write his own verses, Meek had heard Drake used a ghostwriter. Things like those didn't go unsaid in the studio, after all it really was a room full of men smoking, drinking, vibing, and laughing. Trying to keep information out of an atmosphere like that was trying to keep gossip out of a woman's hair salon - just impossible.

Meek had his eye on Nicki since he was in his early twenties. His homies thought it weird of him, having her album Pink Friday on his iPod. What nigga listened to a girly girl rapper? Remy Ma and Lil Kim were different, but Nicki? They thought she was fine, but not fine enough to sit up and listen to her album.

"You fruity, nigga." They would say to him.

"Yall will see one day. When she in my arms you niggas will wish you wasn't in my face like that." He'd retort.

"Boy shut up and go wash them stale braids." One of them would joke, then they'd laugh and leave Meek to sulk.

"Meek?" A voice nearby sounded off.

"Meek?" The voice called again. Was it Nicki? Looking neither here nor there, he immediately shot up in search of the voice. Before he could even make it a foot in the direction toward Nicki's room, his face made contact with a thick, muscley source.

His forehead hit it, and it restrained him. It wouldn't let his body move. He looked up. The source was the broad, lumbering chest of a bodyguard. His tight, black cotton t-shirt and sunglasses told Meek he meant business.

As if he could read Meek's thoughts, the body guard moved Meek backward with a finger that looked like it lifted weights and said, "Nobody is allowed near Ms. Minaj's personal area."

Meek nodded and turned around. There, that was the real source of the voice. A brown skinned guy with glasses and a clipboard took a look at Meek's face then flipped through some pages.

"Robert Rihmeek Williams?" He asked after adjusting his glasses.

Meek shoved his hands in his pockets and nodded. "You are not supposed to be here. This isn't your bus. If you come with me, I can escort you to it."

A/N: this was really just a filler since it's been a while since I updated. There will be a part two to this chapter soon.

I wanted to elaborate on Meek a little more so that y'all can hear his thoughts (even tho he a bitch) and see how he meets Nicki.

Someone asked about Kehlani: I don't wanna spoil anything but she will come in a little towards the middle of the story. I don't really know how far away chapterwise that is, so i guess y'all will just have to keep reading to see.

Before I can get Kehlani in the story I have to start pushing things in the direction that they're supposed to go to first bc i don't want anything to be rushed or sloppy.

As always thanks for reading.
