"Kentaro! I already told you no!" (Y/N) exclaimed, trying her best to pull her arm out of the boy's grasp.
He had been trying to drag her to help out his volleyball club for weeks now and, despite the fact (Y/N) was one of the few people in the world Kentaro ever listened to, he wouldn't concede to just leaving it alone. In Aoba Johsai, because of all the fangirls that lusted obsessively after Oikawa, managers were only allowed on a team members recommendation. Kentaro thought (Y/N) would be perfect for the roll since she knew more than anyone about volleyball and could perhaps even control the unruly team.
Though she knew her resistance was futile against Kentaro's strength, she persisted and vocally protested all the way to the door of the gym. When they finally reached it, she had had enough. Kentaro had loosened his grip on her arm to open the door and she took her chance to rip her arm away. While she had no problem with volleyball, in fact, she enjoyed it immensely, there was one thing in that gym that she hates more than anything else in the school,
"Kentaro! No! You know how much I hate him!" He did, he knew full well who she was talking about. But he decided to play dumb and raise an eyebrow, in response the girl hissed,
"Oikawa."
Just then, the door swung open. The brown haired captain stood at the threshold with a wide grin on his face,
"Talking about me, are we?" That's exactly what (Y/N) hated about him, his stupid self involved self made even the cleverest girl in the school unable to fathom the words to express how unbearable he is to her. Every time she even so much as hears his name she wants to smack who ever said it. The fangirls in the school were almost as bad. But the fact that he assumed the conversation was about him - which it sort of was but that didn't matter- was the kind of thing that made her hate him.
She turned on her heal and stormed away before she did something she'd regret. Behind her was a shocked looking Kentaro and Oikawa,
"Ow, Iwa-chan! What was that for?!" He questioned, reproachfully rubbing the back of his head.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing!" Oikawa's voice raised in pitch.
"Whatever, I'll go apologise." And he took off after her.
