It was last year when my birthday party was held at our new beach house. The beach house was beautiful with a perfect view of the South coast. After my surprise birthday party, when the guests had left, we went out to sit on the sand. We sat under the moonlight and the sound of the waves and your humming filled my ears.
You looked down at me, your eyes twinkling like the stars above and I nodded. At that very moment, you got up grinning and scooped me in your arms, carrying me bridal style. I giggled when you pretended to drop me in the water.
My giggles died down as we entered the silent house. It was a series of panic attacks and we somehow made to the bedroom, dodging party balloons and decorations. That was the first time we made love and goddamn I miss you.
