~Reader's p.o.v~
It has been a few days since the exams ended and Lord Third told us that Itachi and I have become chunin. Both him an I are the only chunin in our teams and we are often called in to do higher ranking missions together. We still train with Shisui after a short mission or we have the day off or even after training with our team. It helps us stay fit and ready for anything, keeps us on top of our 'game'. I was still trying to put the pieces of Itachi medical problem together so I could heal him. I tried to get him to quit being a ninja but he wouldn't listen, it actually cause a fight that lasted a few days. Itachi talked with Shisui and Kakashi talked with me and Itachi and I made up. That is when I decided to always be by Itachi's side, even if it meant leaving everyone behind. And that is what I did, I trained and read everything I could. I even spent some time training with the Hokage and Kakashi. I was beginning to become a very diverse ninja and I was able to fight along side Itachi and heal him when needed. I had his back and he had mine. I was actually on my way to Itachi's house right now, we had a mission as I had to get him and tell him the details about our mission. I knocked on the door and a women opened the door. "Hello, may I help you?" She asked. She must be Itachi's mother. I gave her a smile.
"Yes, ma'am. I am looking for Itachi, we have a mission." I spoke. She gave me a smile and nodded her head.
"Well I'm Itachi's mother Mikoto Uchiha. I will go and get him." Mikoto spoke. Just as she was turning around Itachi and his father, Fugaku Uchiha, walked towards the door talking. Itachi looked towards the door and eyes eyes widened in surprise, if only for a second.
"(y/n)? What are you doing here?" Itachi spoke, I didn't miss how Itachi's mother's eyes lit up at the mention of my name. I gave a small smile.
"Sorry to interrupt, I know we both had a day off but a urgent mission came up. We have to leave now, I was told to give the details once we are on our way." I spoke. Itachi nodded to me and headed to where I assume his room is. I just stood there trying to act like Itachi's parents weren't staring at me. I then heard small footsteps and looked over to see Sasuke. He saw me and his eyes lit up.
"Hi (y/n)!" Sasuke spoke as he ran to me and jumped. I caught him and he wrapped his arms around my neck and gave me a hug. I let out a giggle and hugged him back.
"Hey buddy." I spoke. Sasuke pulled back and looked at my with bright, happy eyes.
"Are you here to get Itachi to train? Can I come with you?!" Sasuke spoke. I gave him a small smile.
"Sorry bud, Itachi and I have a mission. Maybe another time." I spoke and poked his forehead like I have seen Itachi do to him -and me- many times. Sasuke gave me a look as he rubbed him forehead.
"Why do you and Itachi always do that?" Sasuke spoke as he pouted. I let out a small giggle at his cute pouting face and kissed his forehead. Sasuke started to blush. Making his cute little pouting face even cuter.
"Because we can." I spoke. I know it is the way Itachi shows his affection towards his brother, but I'm not going to tell him that. Itachi soon came down ready to go. I put Sasuke down and I gave a short goodbye and did Itachi as we made our way towards the villages gates.
"So what is the mission?" Itachi spoke. I gave him a glance.
"An important document was being delivered to another Kage and we got sent an S.O.S. Our job is to secure the document then get it to the Kage." I spoke. Itachi nodded his head and we ran even faster.
"Oh, Itachi I almost forgot." I spoke getting pills out of my pocket. "I made these, they should help." I told him. He nodded his head and took them.
"How many do I have to take?" Itachi spoke.
"Two a day for a week, I will be giving you medical check ups everyday I can to see if they make an improvement for your health." I spoke. Itachi nodded and took two. "They don't taste to bad...right?" I added. Itachi shook his head 'no'.
"No, taste better then most medicine." Itachi spoke. I gave him a smile.
"Good, I thought so too. I put some plants that had a sweet taste to them." I spoke. Itachi looked at me with wide eyes.
"You tried these?!" Itachi spoke. "What if they killed you?!" Itachi added. I rolled my eyes.
"Don't worry, I had it all planed out. I also told a medic if I didn't contact them with in five minutes the should be ready." I spoke. Now it was Itachi's turn to roll his eyes. I gave him a smirk. "Besides, I can heal my self if damage was being done." I added. Itachi just shook his head. I soon put my hand up in the 'Stop moving' jester and we both came to a halt.
"What is it?" Itachi spoke.
"We are here. we will split up. You take east and I will take the west, we need to get that scroll. Do you remember what it looks like?" I asked even though I knew the answer.
"Yes, red with black trim. We are not to read the scroll and we to believe the have killed the messenger." Itachi spoke. I gave the 'move out' jester and we went our separate ways.
~Time Skip~
Itachi and I where on our way back to the village. We found the scroll and the messenger, turns out the messenger was hired by these guys to take the scroll and to bring it to them. So we decided to bring him along to see what the Hokage wants to do with him. But he would not shut up, and he was pissing me off. Then he had the nerve to 'flirt' with me in a very inappropriate manner. Just as I was about to turn around and knock him out, Itachi activated his sharingan and next thing I knew was the prisoner was falling to the ground unconscious. My mouth hung open in shock as Itachi picked him up like nothing happened. "Itachi!" I spoke, speechless.
"What? He was being inappropriate and he was pissing me off." Itachi spoke.
"I know, me to. You just beat me to it, but you never lose your cool like that Itachi.." I spoke. Itachi just shrugged his shoulders and continued to walk. I followed after him, soon arriving back to the village. We went to the Hokage's office and gave our mission report. The Hokage told us to bring the messenger to the torturer an interrogation division. After we did that Itachi and I walked to our training place and for once we didn't train we just sat down and looked at the clouds. My eyes started to close and I rolled closer to the heat (Itachi) that was next to me. I felt the heat wrap around me and pull me closer. I heard a whisper in the wind, but I was to far gone to hear.

I later woke up, I was confused as to why I was outside and warm. I hear soft breath next to me and I look over to see Itachi, I blush and go to move but the arm, that I just took notice to, pulls me closer. "Stop moving." Itachi spoke in a slur full of sleep. He pulled rolled over and rested his face into my breast like they are a fluffy pillow. "Squishy." Was Itachi next sleep filled word, making me go as red as a tomato from the embarrassment. I would try to move but every time I do Itachi just holds me tighter.

The next time I woke up was to giggling. I open my eyes to see Shisui and Sasuke, I blush red and what makes it worse the giggling not only woke me up...but Itachi as well. He shot off of me with a red face and mumbled a 'sorry'. "Do you like (y/n)-chan Niisan?" I heard Sasuke ask and Shisui laugh his ass off. Itachi said nothing but his face was on fire from embarrassment, but he still managed to glare at the laughing Shisui. Itachi mumbled something but nobody could understand what he said.
"Well, you have to get home Itachi your mother was worried sick." Shisui spoke once he stopped laughing.
"Yeah Niisan, but she will be glad to hear you were safe and just napping with (y/n." Sasuke spoke and started running towards their home. Itachi's eyes went wide with panic and he ran off. Shisui was the only Uchiha laugh and he just sent me a smirk.
"What?" I questioned, Shisui just raised his brow and shrugged his shoulders.
"Nothing. I just happen to know something that both you and Itachi doesn't know, or for a better word realize yet." Shisui told me. I gave him a questioning look and he just waved me away.
~Time Skip~ (You and Itachi and now 11)
Itachi and I were training when an Anbu showed up. "Itachi Uchiha and (y/n) Senju, the Hokage requests that you meet him in his office." The Anbu spoke. Itachi and I gave him a nod and the Anbu disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
"I guess there goes another day off,, wonder what it is this time..." I spoke as Itachi and I walked to the Hokages office. I knocked on the door and we heard a 'come in' from in side. Itachi and I walked in.
"You asked to see us." Itachi and I spoke in sync, the Hokage chuckled at us.
"Yes, it has come to my attention that both of you are at a higher level then that of a jonin. I would like to ask if you wanted to join the Anbu. If you both except then you will be put into the same team. I have seen such teamwork in quite a while." The Hokage spoke. "I will give you a day to decide and if you should say no, the offer shall be there when you believe you are ready." The Hokage spoke.
