"Oh, erhm I'm sorry. I didn't know we had company." I say, I can already tell my cheeks are a nice shade of blood fucking red right now. I probably came off so rude, and in front of her family too? I'm so stupid. Why are they in my house anyways? Is my mum some sort of welcoming committee now? And why didn't my mum warn me?
"It's okay Harry, why don't you just come down and chat for a bit? They'll be able to see how nice of a boy you are once they talk to you for a bit!" Ugh mum stop, you're so weird around guests. All friendly and what not. If I had talked back to her any other day she'd be cussing me out in 7 different languages.
I walk down stairs carefully watching my steps, afraid of my fate I thought I was going to recieve earlier if I ran into her outside and I really don't need anymore embarrassment right now.
I walk up to her father and stick my hand out, "Hi my name's Harry, nice to meet you."
"Hi Harry. Such a gentleman, shaking my hand. Your mother has obviously taught you well." He says looking over at my mum with a genuine smile. Gross, I hope he's not flirting with her. Where is Ally's mum anyways? "My name is Robin Twist. These are my two daughters Ally" He gestures toward the older girl. "And Alicia." gesturing to the rather tiny little girl standing behind Ally's leg that she's desperately holding onto.
"Hello." I smile and shake Ally's hand, and wave at Alicia. "How old are you?"
"3"
"Oh no way, you look so much older. You've got to be at least 14." I smile.
She smiles back hesitantly, but then decides to bury her face into the back of Ally's leg.
"Sorry she's a bit shy." Ally says. Her accent is beautiful, dear god.
"It's okay, I always seem to make girls nervous." You blubbering idiot. Could you sound like more of a asshole? "Erhm, so how old are you?"
"She's 16. She's in your grade." Robin chimes in. "I actually came over today because I saw you walking to school today and since I have to get Alicia to school and be to work by 8 everyday, I thought you guys could walk together?" He asks. Yes. Fuck yes. More time to spend with her.
"Dad, I can walk by myself." Ally barks. Ouch.
"Sorry sweetie." Ally face shows the repulse at his choice of words. " But you can't walk alone, and I can't get you and your sister to school on time. This is the only way." Ally and her father exchange glances before I see him give her a serious look. "Fine." Ally's face stays neutral as she nods her head. Am I a bad person for being happy he forced her? Oh well.
"Oh! Great idea." Oh god. "Ally before you go, why don't you and Harry hang out tonight? He can tell you about the school and-"
"Mum, I'm going out tonight." I say as Ally chimes in as well. "Yeah and I have to unpack... wait go out? Like a party?"
"Uh, yeah?"
"Oh, well that actually sounds like fun."
"Well if you'd like, you could come along."
"Well is that an invite? Or just you trying to be polite, because I don't want to go if you don't-"
"I want you to." I smile at her.
She smiles back and my stomach flutters.
"Well sounds good! I guess we better take off then so we can eat dinner and she can have enough time to get ready because you know girls and how long it-"
"Dad!" Ally barks.
"Sorry, we'll be off now. Nice meeting you!" Robin continues and they all say goodbye and leave.
Shit. Shit. Shit. What did I just do? I just invited the hottest girl I've ever seen to a party with my lame ass friends and the... oh god, the groupies. First thing on my list tonight, keep Ally away from the groupies. Well my friends are cool, I just don't want any other guys to see her because I know they'll try to go for her the second they see her. I need to text Nick and let him know what's going on.
*Hey Nick, long story short, hot girl moved in next to me. I invited her tonight. Hands off.*
*Ahh you bitch! Fine. What about Amber? I think she was looking forward to hooking up with you tonight.*
*I've denied her 100 times, I don' t think another will hurt her.*
*True haha. See you at 8*
Alright now that that's out of the way, I have to find what I'm going to wear. I decide on my new supras, no matter how badly they hurt, they look good so I'm going to wear them. Then I decide on a pair of blue jeans with a black v neck and a hoodie. I don't want to look too dressed up or my friends will make fun of me, but I also don't want Ally to think I look homeless.
I couldn't decide between a scarf or no scarf, or a black or white v neck, so I go and ask Gemma her opnion, and of course makes fun of me but decides on what I had picked out originally.
"You're really into this girl aren't you?" Gemma says with a smirk lit up across her face.
"Uh, no. What makes you say that? I just met her today." I say trying to conceal my obvious lies as I fold up the clothes I didn't decide on.
"I over heard you talking today and it was so obvious. Plus, you never ask me for clothes advice so shut up and tell me the truth!"
"I am telling you the truth! I mean I guess she's hot, but I don't fancy her in that way. She seems a bit arrogant to be honest." I say. I don't know if I mean that because we've only exchanged about 5 words, but she does seem to have quite an attitude on her.
" Well if she pisses you off then I already like her."
"Ha ha, I'm leaving now."I sarcastically laugh as I walk out of her room and back to mine.
Ally's POV
"Dad?" I say gently knocking on his door.
"Yes sweetie! Come in." He replies. I hate when he calls me sweetie, I'm not 5 anymore for crying out loud.
"I, uh, well, I wanted to know, um, how does this look on me?" I say walking in. I'm wearing a white knit sweater with a green military jacket over the top with black skinny jeans and combat boots.
I really hate the fact that I'm forced to ask my dad for advice with clothing who would probably say a potato sack looked good on me.
"You look stunning as always sweetie." He says and I smile. "Thanks dad."
"Can you come sit down for a minute, please?"
"Okay." I walk over, already knowing what this will be about.
"How're you feeling?"
"I'm okay."
"Do you think you're okay enough to go out tonight because if not I can talk to Anne and make up something so you don't have to go?"
"No dad, I want to go out tonight. It'll help me get my mind off things. Sitting around won't do me any good."
"Okay sweetie. Do you like Harry? He seems like a nice boy right?"
"Yeah he's cool, he comes off a bit arrogant though. I mean that comment he made to Alicia.. I hope he wasn't being serious." I let out a laugh. In all seriousness though, he was very cute. Despite his horrid taste in clothing, he was adorable and I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my stomach when he smiled at me. Ugh, what am I thinking. There's no way he thinks of me like that, our parents basically forced up together and he's probably just bringing me out of pity tonight because I don't have friends. I guess I'll just make some there, I don't need him anyways if that's the case.
There's a knock on the door.
Harry's POV
Holy fuck. She looks stunning. Earlier she was wearing sweats that didn't compliment her body whatsoever, but now she's wearing skinny jeans that almost traced every curve on that masterpiece she calls her body.
"Are you ready to go?" She says, knocking my head back into consciousness.
"Erhm, yeah. Nicks waiting out in the car for us. You look... nice." I say, trying not give away my obvious thoughts running through my head.
"Thank you" She smiles. "Well I'm ready when you are."
"Okay then let's go." I look past her at her dad standing behind her. "Can I have her home by midnight or is that too late?"
Ally lets out a giggle, I'm guessing that's early for her.
"Midnight is fine. Have a good night you two!" He says and I say goodbye and I continue out to the car.
Shit, I forgot that Nick's car is a coup.
"So I just remembered that Nick's car is a two seater so if you want we can find another ride or-"
"Or I could just sit on your lap?"
I almost choke on her words. "Yeah, that'll work. It's up to you."
I pile into Nick's car and Ally joins plopping onto my lap.
"This is uh, Ally." I say to Nick.
"Well hello there." I can tell he thinks she's beautiful and he better keep that in his thoughts where it belongs. Why am I getting so jealous? "You guys seem to be quite comfortable with each other considering you just met today!"
"Well what I supposed to do, strap her to the top?" I laugh and they join in.
"True. Well let's get going, I heard the alcohol has already been put out and I don't want to show up when it's already all gone." Ally and I nod our head in compliance as Nick starts the car and pulls out of my drive way.
(Thank you guys so much for reading! I see views coming in, but no votes! Please keep voting! Also I'm thinking about starring Barbara Palvin as Ally because I have a picture of her with a pink streak in her hair, and I don't know! She's just a perfect look for Ally but I want to know what you guys think! Leave your responces below. :) Also if you have any ideas for the role of Amber, put that below too! Tysm, I love you guys!)
