We sat on the couch, my face resting against his chest. I was almost asleep, I was warm and comfortable perched as I was with Louis's arms tightly wrapped around me he ran is fingers around my bruises being careful and kind. The television sounded and blared with some New Zealand show.
"Shall I close the curtains?" Louis asked.
"No, please just stay," I held him close. I couldn't let him go.
"Do you want to sleep?" he stroked my hair and kissed my head.
"Maybe."
He ran his fingers on my neck.
"Do you wish to stay here?" he asked pulling me into his lap.
"Maybe."
"What do you-"
I stopped his mouth with a kiss. His hand ran the length of my body pulling me closer with every kiss.
He lifted me in his arms, carried me gracefully to my bed where he lay me next to himself.
"You sleep," he smiled, "I will set up a bed on the couch.
"No!" I moved my hand to make him still, "stay, please. I don't want you to go."
