Grant and Danielle couldn't help but laugh at their banter on Instagram, the two of them sprawled out on Grant's sofa. Dani's feet were propped in Grant's lap as Starlit snuggled into her side, Jett on one side of Grant while Nora was sleeping soundly on top of Danielle's legs.
"You and the guys seem super close," Grant noted, looking up at Danielle.
"Yeah, well, they've been my family for like 8 years now. I mean, Jensen isn't just my dad on tv, he's..." Danielle sighed gently. "He's been more of a father to me than my real father."
Grant looked over to her, raising his eyebrows. "What do you mean?"
Danielle shrugged. "My dad left when I was 8. Haven't seen him since. Then I got my role on Supernatural after I turned 17, and they became my family." Danielle laughed gently at herself after she finished, raking a hand through her hair. "Wow, you probably didn't want to know all that.."
"No, no, don't apologize. That's really sweet." Grant smiled gently, looking over at his friend. "And by the way, your dad's a total dick for leaving you like that." He murmured, and Dani chuckled, shaking her head.
"Trust me, I made that official a long time ago." She murmured, making Grant laugh. "Thanks for listening. I appreciate it."
"Any time, Dani. Any time."
