“Cyan Star & Crystal Star”
Lily, who is now known as “Crystal” or the “Crystal Star”
had finally accepted some offer for her.
So did Ai Mikaze and Aine Kisaragi.
What will happen to them from now?
“Hello.”
Lily greeted as she entered a room.
“Hello there, Miss Crystal. Please, sit down.”
A man in a suit politely spoke.
“Okay..” Lily walks in but her eyes suddenly
widened as she saw the other side of the room.
“Ai-kun..?!” She exclaimed.
The person whom she mistook for Ai was
none other than Aine Kisaragi himself.
He looks at her with a calm smile on his face.
“Oh, miss Crystal. Did you mean ‘Aine’?
I’m not used to being called ‘Ai’. Or maybe
you mistook me for my brother?” Aine
asked Lily with an honest expression.
“Ah, no, no! Yes, that’s what I meant, exactly..”
Lily shook her head twice in denial as she sat down.
“I see.” Aine says.
“Well then, now, I’m Juha. I’m going to be your manager here.
Let’s talk about this business. Ms.Crystal, you’ve accepted my
offer, right? Just so you know, Kisaragi-san is going to be your
partner. Is that okay? I hope we come to an agreement easily.”
Juha’s face seemed calm yet so cold as he spoke.
“It’s completely fine with me.”
Aine smiled as he agreed.
“Well then... it's fine with me too.."
Hesitatingly, Lily agreed.
"(But what if I meet Ai again because of him?)"
"Ah good then. When would you like to begin work?
We'd like to start as soon as possible."
Juha raised his hands in joy and entwined them again.
"I'm available anytime." Aine speaks.
"What about you, Ms.Crystal?" He glances
at Lily.
"I'm.. I'm cool too. Let's start tomorrow then."
Lily decided, still her face emotionless.
Meanwhile....
"Really? You accept? Yesss! That's so great then!!
Let's start working tomorrow!! I'll go tell them the news!"
Ringo happily said so as he waved bye to Ai.
"Why is that something to get so excited about?
Whatever." Ai stared at Ringo's back as he walks
away from him.
the next day...
Lily sits calmly as a makeup artist takes care
of her beautiful face, she obediently cooperates
with her co-workers silently. Forever poker-faced.
Aine walks in the dressing room with another
calm smile on his face. "Good morning."
He greets everyone else.
"Good morning, Kisaragi-san!"
One of the staffs greets him back.
"Let's work our best today."
Aine smiles at her as he walks past the staff.
Lily spots him and greets him.
"Good morning, Kisaragi-kun."
Still emotionless.
"Good morning Miss Crystal."
Aine also smiles at her.
"You look beautiful as ever, with or
without makeup."
"Now, you're trying to be so nice to me.
I'm not that beautiful." Lily calmly rejects
Aine's compliment.
Aine laughs, "Is that so? I believe it anyway."
Lily just finished having her makeup done
and stood up, facing Aine. "Thanks then."
She said and walked past through him.
"Cold as ice."
Aine muttered with a smirk.
Later then, they proceeded to work.
So did Ai, in another different location.
"CUUUUUUUUUT!"
The director yells angrily.
Ai and his co-actors stops and
looks at the director.
"Mikaze!! How many times do I have to tell you
to look like thiiiis!?" The director shows a forced
expression. "But you always look like THIS" Then
he shows a poker face.
"What? I didn't do anything wrong. My calculations
were perfect." Ai didn't look sorry but more like
offended.
"ARGGHH!" The director throws his hand over his
head. "Ringo! Why did you even tell us he's good?
I don't see any good in him! Let him switch roles
with the antagonist!"
"Ahh! I'm so sorry director! But I swear there's
potential in him! He just... kinda lost it since he
got amnesia a while ago! I'm really sorry!"
Ringo bows his head as he apologizes for both
him and Ai.
"Why are you apologizing? We didn't do anything wrong."
Ai frowns at Ringo, questioning him.
"No, Ai-chan. We have to apologize no matter what.
He's the director and he knows best, okay?"
Ringo's showed a worried expression.
"He knows best, huh?"
Crossing his arms, Ai mutters.
"Ai-chan..." Ringo mutters in a tone
of voice full of hopelessness.
"(He's changed so much ever since Lily-chan disappeared..)"
A few weeks later...
"The 'Disappearance of the Lonely Android' is no more!
He is now fully back! Aine Kisaragi's half brother, Ai Mikaze!
Currently known as the Cyan Star as well, he's back! But where
did he go anyway? He came back to his group Quartet Night and
his fellow members doesn't know why he disappeared at first.
But it only turns out that he had an accident back then that
caused him to have amnesia. Now, we'll ask Ai himself!"
A newscaster lively spoke.
"Hello, Mikaze-kun!"
The newscaster greeted him and then
pointed the microphone to Ai.
"Hello."
A short simple reply,
Ai calmly speaks.
Ai sits down with his arms & legs crossed.
He was invited to a t.v program to talk about
his life, his career, everything else, etc.
It's a live interview.
"What can you say now that you've started acting as well?"
"Nothing much, I was just bored and it interested me."
Ai answers straightly.
"Oh, I see. What can you say about the known Crystal Star,
Miss Crystal, being paired up to you for so many times?"
The host changed her question.
Suddenly, for a second, Ai's eyes went wide, he wasn't
able to answer quickly unlike how he usually is.
"The 'Crystal Star'... you say?"
Ai repeats the host's words.
"Yes, yes. You guys style your hair in an identical way.
Her songs seems to be related to you. Plus the fans
thinks you guys would make an adorable couple!"
The host's face seemed excited.
"Hmph, just because we style our hair in the same manner?"
Ai twirls his hair that was touching his shoulder.
"Hahaha! You've got some quite cute reaction over there.
But really, what can you say? You're the Cyan Star, she's
the Crystal Star! You guys are meant to be!"
However, outside the building where Ai's interview was
being held, a huge wide screen for viewers outside was
showing his live interview. Outside stood Lily, blended
along with the rest of the crowd that was also looking up
to the screen, watching Ai. She was disguising herself
as well. Her expression remains empty as she watches.
"I don't think her songs are related to me or anything.
We don't even know each other yet and who knows?
Maybe she's already dating someone. It won't do good
if people keeps pairing us up as couples. My data says so."
"Ahaha!" the host laughs as she rubs the back of her head.
"Is that so? So you haven't even met yet. Aww, that's sad
news for ICE shippers! Yes, they call your pairing as 'ICE'
for what reason? well, the fans said your hair are like ice.
Your expressions are normally as cold as ice! Plus your
eyes! They're like ice. I guess that's how they came up
with it! Hihihi~" The host giggles.
"Of course, I wouldn't deny it if we knew each other."
Ai keeps talking in a calm expressionless manner.
"Ai-kun..."
Lily, suddenly feeling pain rush down her heart,
she clutches her chest as she continues
watching Ai's live interview.
After the interview, Ai is now leaving the building.
There are no other available exits but the front,
where all his fans are waiting for him. Even though
security is there, there are way too many fans.
As he walks out the entrance door, the fans
starts screaming and pushing against each other.
By that time, Lily remembered she had to leave
before she gets spotted. But the moving hyper
crowd is peventing her from leaving. She is stuck.
The security tries their best to push back the fans
that wants to get near Ai. While Ai pays no attention
to them. His emotions are completely empty.
Unluckily, Lily was pushed to the front, and accidentally..
like back then, a fan pushed her and she fell down.
Where she fell down caused her mouth to fall open.
She didn't complain anymore about the pain,
she had no other words to say when she saw Ai.
She felt a single streak of sweat roll down from
her forehead. Ai is standing right in front of her,
the rest of the security is busy pushing back
everyone else. What's more... her glasses
that served as a disguise and her hood that
covered her face was taken off, revealing her face.
"...."
Ai says nothing, only looking down at her.
Lily, left speechless and frozen for a second,
remembers her situation and quickly searches
for her glasses while on the floor. She put back
her hood to hide her face to prevent issues.
Ai watches her and realizes what she's looking for.
He glances over the place, ignoring the loud screams
of the crowd and then picked up Lily's glasses.
He then walks up to her, he places his hand
on top of his shoulder from behind. She stops
moving and slowly turns around to look at him.
"You're looking for this?"
Ai asked her.
"Y-Y-Yes!" Lily quickly took
the glasses from Ai's hand
and puts it on. She stands up
and bows to thank him.
She could feel her body shaking and shivering,
not because of the cold or anything. But because
her heart is racing, extremely pounding as if they
were about to explode anytime. She quickly turns
around but before she could walk away, another
fan once again accidentally pushed her, the other
fans are also pushing against each other. But before
she could totally fall again, this time she fell into
the arms of Ai himself. He showed no expression
as usual.. and Lily just apologized in a low tone of
voice and bowed her head again. This time, she
successfully left without any trouble.
"That girl... she looked like Crystal."
Ai muttered as he walked over to his car.
"Whatever." He gets rid of the thought
as he gets inside and leaves the venue.
While walking far away, Lily suddenly stopped.
Huffing so much, trying to catch her breath,
Lily holds her chest tightly.
"(My heart won't stop racing... Is this happiness?
or excitement? or fear? or nervousness? I don't
know anymore. But the pain is for sure and real.)"
She closes her eyes and looks up to the sky.
"He really doesn't remember me anymore."
