As he opened the door, he found his mother’s mangled corpse, lying on the clear glass floor. Her blood seeping from the maggot infested gash on her stomach, smelled stale and disgusting. Peter dropped to his knees and starting sobbing loudly in his bloody hands, as he realized that this was only the beginning. He could hear the buzz of flies, landing in her grey, mushy brain. When the stench of his mother crawled up Peter’s nose, his gag reflex suddenly kicked in and made it impossible to stay in that room for much longer. He quietly got to his feet and stepped into the hall.
