Cory
Lost, that’s how I was feeling at the moment, sometimes I felt like my eyes were deceiving me. Finally down in Miami and I seen the girl that I loved who was carrying my child with her feet all up on dude. That’s what got me angry, for the past weeks I was thinking that she was being a faithful girl and being happy with me but I guess she was wrong.
I sat in the car in the parking lot putting my head on the wheel and sighed, “Why me? Alex talk to me right now, I need a sign that this girl aint cheating on me. Show me a sign that she’s faithful to me, yeah she has a few flaws but all I need is a sign,” I said and sighed putting my head back on the steering wheel.
Bam!
I shot up and took a deep breath looking at the sky. I guess that was a sign for me.
I looked at Alia through the passenger window as she looked at me with solid tears in her eyes. Obviously I knew she was hurt about what I just did.
“Can you please talk to me?” she sobbed and I sighed putting my head back on the headrest, “Please Cory just talk to me, five minutes?” she pleaded and I unlocked the door.
She opened the door and sat in the passenger seat and looked at me.
“So why you had to run from me, what did I do?” she asked and I looked at her puzzled.
I know she didn’t ask a stupid question like that, why did I run away from her? She means why I ran away from the bullshit she means.
“Alia, something like that is something I don’t want to see when I haven’t seen my girlfriend in a few days, also who the hell is dude? And don’t say just a friend.”
She looked at me twirling her fingers into her hair looking at the sunroof. She didn’t even have an answer because I knew that the main answer was going to be a friend.
“He’s my sonographer for the baby, what you saw in there was something that was helping me with my stupid ass ankles that I’m dealing with. He’s knows about you too because I’m very consideration of my relationship Cory.” She explained and I sighed, “Look at me Cory.” I looked out the window and she grabbed my face facing hers, her eyes literally was full of tears but I could see past that, “You have to trust me Cory, I’m telling the truth.”
She looked at me deeply in her eyes and I could literally read what she was trying to say, to trust her, to show her that she really meant what she said.
“Because I have nowhere to go I’ll let you prove your point.” I opened the door and walked out the car as Alia followed behind.
I walked up the stairs and walked over to the door again and waited on Alia as she slowly walked to the door. She slowly stopped and looked at me.
“Hey can you please just be calm please, I don’t want anything become anymore worse than before.”
I looked at her and put my hand on her cheek and she smiled, “I can’t promise anything.” She then frowned and opened the door.
I knew that she was ASAP upset after that comment that I have made.
The door suddenly opened and I saw a maybe pre-teen standing there with the flowers in her hand.
“I think these are for you,” she said and handed me the messed flowers and I smiled.
“Thanks.”
“Now I think a certain someone deserves an apology.”
She leaned on the door blocking both of us from coming in and smiled from ear to ear.
I turned to Alia and she had her head down as if she was disappointed. I took my finger lifting up her chin and smiled. There was those eyes again, the eyes that was pleading with me.
“Alia… I’m sorry okay, I never meant to hurt you at all,” I said and kissed her softly on the lips and she smiled, “I love you and I’m really sorry,” she smiled from ear to ear.
“I think I could forgive that apology.” I just gave her the tightest hug.
I really couldn’t be mad at her; this was really the girl I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. Alia, my life my love. I was really in love with her.
