It was two days since Astoria was born and Dipper couldn't have imagined life any better than it already was.
Bill sat next to him on the bed, watching Dipper talk to their daughter.
"Are you ready to meet your Auntie and grand uncles, little one?,"Dipper cooed to his daughter in her bassinet.
The snow had somewhat melted so Dipper had called over Mabel, Grunkle Stan, and Ford without telling what the visit was about.
"Are you okay?,"asked Bill.
"Yeah, why?"
"You've been sittng there for the past hour, watching Astoria sleep, like a stalker."
"Can you blame me?"
"I suppose not."
Dipper leaned back into bed kissing Bill on lips.
"I knew you couldn't blame me.,"he smirked.
Bill stuck his tongue out to him.
"Hey put that away before I stick mine down your throat."
"Really now?,"Bill purred.
They were about to kiss again when the doorbell rang.
"Better get that.,"he mocked.
"Yeah yeah."
Dipper quickly walked down the stairs.
He unlocked the door and opened it.
"Hey bro bro!,"said an excited, 20 year old Mabel.
"What's up kiddo?,"said Grunkle Stan.
"Good morning Dipper.,"said Ford.
"Hey guys. Come in. Want any drinks?"
"No thank you.,"said Ford and they all walked in, removing their jackets.
"Got any cherry soda?"
Dipper rolled his eyes.
"Yeah Mabel."
"Coffee."
"Sure Grunkle Stan, but first, there's that surprise I still have to show you all. Follow me upstairs ."
They all walked up to his bedroom.
Dipper slowly opened the door as they all walked in where they all saw Bill.
Bill quietly crept towards a bassinet taking a small pink bundle out of it.
Mabel gasped.
"Seriously Dipper?! Is that-?,"she whispered.
Dipper nodded, softly smiling.
His twin quietly squealed.
Bill handed Astoria over to Dipper.
"What's her name?"
"Astoria. Astoria Galaxia Celeste Pines. Would you like to hold her?,"asked Dipper.
"Would I!"
"Here. Remember to support the head. Rock her gently too. Don't talk to loudly either. And-"
"Geez, Dipper. I know to handle babies, you know. Now hand over my niece."
"Yeah, sorry."
Dipper carefully gave her the newborn.
"Hi, I'm your Auntie Mabel. Aren't you precious? Yes you are! I know exactly what to get you for your birthday.
How does some weird baby pictures of your daddy sound?,"she cooed.
"Ughhhh, come on Mabel. Don't embarrass me in front of my daughter."
"Too late. Already planned."
Grunkle Stan slapped Dipper on the back.
"Congrats kiddo. I hope karma gives you back all the trouble you gave me."
"Thanks Grunkle Stan...,"he said, very unsure.
"Congratulations Dipper! I hope we've got another explorer/scientist in the family."
"I do too.,"he said softly.
"WWWWWWAAAAHHHH!"
Astoria was up again...
"I got it,"said Bill, snapping his fingers.
A bottle of formula appeared in his open palm.
"Perfect.,"he sighed, feeling the temperature of the milk.
"Wanna feed her?,"he grinned to Mabel.
"Yes. So very much."
"Ok, first you...,"
As Bill taught Mabel how to feed Astoria, Dipper slowly went downstairs to get the drinks everyone requested before.
Bill was already putting their daughter back into the bassinet when
Dipper came back.
"Is she done?"
"Yep. Downed whole thing too. I bet she's full now. Thank goodness she didn't throw up when I burped her."
Mabel sat down on their bed with her drink in her hand.
"Okay you two. I want to know all the details. What happened?"
Bill smirked.
"I was lucky. Only an eight-hour labor."
"How is that lucky? It's still labor.,"said Mabel.
"At least it wasn't over 20 hours.,"said Dipper.
"Around 2 days ago, I woke up at about 2 am, which was when the contractions started. The hard part was getting him,"he pointed to Dipper. "to wake up. I had to try twice."
"It was tired, okay?,"defended Dipper.
"Anyway, my water broke around 5 am - Dipper fainted right after I told him. And at 10:46 am that little bundle of joy, over there sleeping, was born."
"But, who delivered that baby?"
Dipper froze.
"What were they going to say? He couldn't just tell them that he did.
"A demon midwife.,"Bill said smoothly.
"Awww. I hope I have a girl."
"Wanna go shopping for clothes tomorrow?"
"Deal."
And so, they day went by with the Pines celebrating their newest addition.
