Precap: since its been way too long I'll do this for y'all. In the two previous chapters AJ and Hunter did reveal their secret which was liking each other but not confronting. So the two of them haven't told each other how they feel yet. Here's a different chapter to break the ice.
Derek's POV :
"What the actual heck ?" I muttered.
"Calm down babe."
"Take your money and get the hell out." I said repeatedly.
"Call me if you need me again." Resha took her one night stand share smirking and left.
Clearly something is wrong. I mean look at Derek he seems to be a mess. He slammed a glass of water on the floor. He was angry and extremely infuriated. When came to the gang. He hated it.
I dialed David's number.
"Get me a gig tonight I need money right now." saying it all at once.
"Whoa whoa I'll see what I can get Dee." He replied from the other end.
"No trying get one !" I shouted at David and slammed the phone on the floor.
So much of anger issues aye.
"What's wrong ?" Derek's brother Cory came in.
"It's the gang again." I sat down on my bed utterly frustrated.
"Didn't you want out long time back ?" Asked Cory.
"I did now they want money to confirm my leave and right now I have no cash left."
"I got some saved up you can use them if you want. But it's only $1000." Cory said reaching out his wallet.
"No need I'll get a gig somehow that's quick money." I said refusing the offer because I clearly knew my lil brother is saving up for a new car.
Right after Cory left I got call from David.
"I got a gig. Wall Street at 10 for $2000, it's Li Ming so come prepared."
"Thanks mate." I cut the line.
Li Ming is such a good racer but hey I haven't lost skill yet.
This a small chapter but hey only to break the ice. I'm sorry I wasn't active at all because I had my AL exams so now I'm basically done and back to writing 🙊 Missed y'all loads and here goes nothing.
