*harry pov*
I wake up and feel for Louis' but he isn't there. I slowly get out of bed and walk downstairs into the living room, he's sitting on the sofa watching a random cartoon. I go over to him to ask if he's hungry but he's so intrigued with the cartoon that i have to pause it in order to get his attention.
Louis: why did you pause it?
Harry: I've been trying to get your attention for a while now but you wouldn't acknowledge me
Louis: oh.....I'm sorry
Harry: it's okay, would you like some breakfast?
Louis: yes please
Harry: does pancakes sound okay?
Louis: yes!
Harry: *chuckles* okay I'll go and make them now
I play the cartoon and get up to make the breakfast for both of us, whilst i am getting everything i need ready so i can start cooking i hear Louis' phone ringing so i call him into the kitchen but again he's way too distracted by the cartoon so i quickly answer it and it's Liam
Harry: Hello?
Liam: Harry? Where is Louis?
Harry: He's watching cartoons at the moment whilst i make breakfast
Liam: Has he slipped?
Harry: Not that i know of, he doesn't seem like he's in pain or anything
Liam: wait, he hasn't told you?
Harry: told me what?
Liam: okay well I'm not supposed to tell you but i guess it's too late now, just google definitions of the words I'm going to send you and please stay open minded
Harry: okay
Liam: oh and please don't tell Louis I've told u any of this
Harry: of course
Liam: okay tell Louis that he needs to call me back
Harry: is it urgent?
Liam: nah don't worry, he can call me whenever
Harry: okay bye!
Liam: bye mate
I carry on preparing everything i need for breakfast when i get a text from Liam of the words i have to google. I decide to do research after breakfast so that Louis gets fed quickly.

We both finish breakfast and he asks to use my shower and of course i said yes. While he is in the shower i can do some research.

Little space:
Littlespace is a mindset in which an adult relaxes into a state of carefree, responsibility-free safety. It may be a developed time in which an adult relives childhood memories, scenarios, or desires that were unachievable in their adolescence.
Daddy Dom:

Little:
A little is someone that likes to act younger then they really are. It's kind of like having an alter ego that's much younger then yourself. Most littles don't act little 24/7, but when they do slip into their younger alter ego it's called slipping into a headspace.
When a little is in headspace that is when they are at their most submissive and most vulnerable, and sometimes even talk higher pitch or with more of a lisp then normal. They're more prone to emotional outbursts like throwing a tantrum or getting overly excited about something. They are also the most needy in this state, as they are not thinking like a grown up but like a child, and need a bit more guidence and reasurence. Some littles are shyer in headspace while others may become more outgoing. Every little is different and has their own headspace unique to them. The age range for littles is very broad and can range from newborn baby to toddler young child. 0-8 is usually the agreed range. It could be a fixed age like 3, but it could also be a range like 2-6.
Littles tend to enjoy more childlike, babyish items such as pacifiers, sippy cups/bottles, stuffed animals, picture books, toy, games, younger looking clothing, pull-ups/ diapers, ect. Clothing and little items are different for each individual little.

Wow.....i feel a little bit overwhelmed to be honest. It's cute though, Louis with a little stuffed animal would be so cute! The idea doesn't seem too bad actually, i think I want to try it with him but first i have to figure out how to approach the situation. I text Liam telling him my thoughts and i ask him for advice on how to approach Louis about it.
Harry: i have no idea on how to tell him that i know
Liam: just wait it out, eventually he will slip into a headspace because he does nearly everyday
Harry: what do i do if he slips? And how will i know?
Liam: If he seems to be acting more childish just talk to him casually, if anything seems different to how he usually is then message me and I'll come over and help you out
Harry: what age is he usually?
Liam: generally between 3 and 6
Harry: okay thanks mate
Liam: no problem
Just as i close my laptop and go to wash the dishes i used for breakfast, Louis comes running down the recently oiled wooden stairs and before i can tell him to stop he slips off of the last one and lands on his front while hitting his head on the floor. I stand still for a second to see what he does, he sits up but quickly starts to cry when he notices his knee is bleeding so i rush over to him bringing him onto my lap whilst hugging him close to me (look at the picture in the last chapter to see what i mean)
Harry: are you okay?
Louis: hurts!
Harry: aww i know but it will stop soon
Louis: want LiLi please
Harry: Are you sure? I can clean it and stuff here
Louis: no! please want LiLi
I quickly call Liam because i think this has caused Louis to slip.
Liam: hello?
Harry: Louis fell over and keeps asking for you, i think he's slipped
Liam: where is he now?
Harry: with me on my lap
Liam: okay I'm on my way just keep hugging him and stuff
Harry: okay i will
I hang up the phone whilst standing up with Louis in my arms. I go to the kitchen and sit him on the kitchen counter while i get the small first aid kit that i keep in the cupboard just incase.
Harry: LiLi is on his way, doll
Louis: want him now
Harry: aww i know but he will be here soon, i need to look and your knew and clean it
Louis: no! Stingy
Harry: it'll only be quick I promise
Louis: no!
Harry: okay but if you won't let me do it then LiLi has to do it
Louis: no it stingy!
I notice Louis has started to speak in a more childish way which in my opinion is so adorable. I hug Louis again because he is still sort of crying and a few minutes later i hear a knock on my door. I leave Louis sitting on the counter while i go and open the door. Once i open it i see a very calm Liam in the doorway.
Liam: where is he?
Harry: sitting on the kitchen counter
Liam: please don't leave him alone on the counters, he has the tendency to try and jump off but always falls
Harry: sorry I didn't think about that
Liam: no worries mate
Liam quickly walks into the kitchen with me not far behind him. Louis instantly puts his arms out towards Liam so that Liam can hug him which i find so adorable. Liam looks at me after standing up with Louis sat on his hip
Liam: he's definitely slipped and I brought a bag of things with me so that he has some necessities
Harry: okay, thank you so much for this
Liam: it's no problem, he must be comfortable around you because he doesn't slip around others easily
Harry: that's good to hear but I don't understand why he didn't warn me or let me know
Liam: he's dealt with a lot of rejection in his life because of it so he's probably just worried you'll leave him too
Harry: i would never leave him. He's too cute and sweet
Liam: i agree
Harry: so what do you need help with?
Liam: well he's not crying anymore so that's a start. There should be a pacifier in that bag over there so if you could get it that would be great
Harry: yeah sure, does he have his pacifier a lot?
Liam: not really, mainly for comfort and when he sleeps
Harry: okay
I get the pacifier and see a soft blue blanket that matches his eyes so i grab that too just incase. When i go back over to Liam and Louis I notice that Louis is looking rather panicked
Liam: he's realised he's slipped in-front of you so now he's kind of half in and out of a head space
Harry: what should i do to help?
Liam: let him know you're okay with it
I walk over to Louis and give him the pacifier and the blanket, he takes it from me but doesn't make any moves to use them so i take him from Liam and hug him tightly but gently.
Harry: it's okay Louis, i fully accept you, it's rather cute in my opinion
Liam: he looks quite tired so try to get him to sleep, it will help him calm down
I take Liams advice and start gently bouncing Louis in my arms while telling him how cute he is and that I completely accept him. Once his eyes start to droop i slip the pacifier between his lips and he instantly starts to suck on it. He also grabs the blue blanket and cuddles into it which makes me die inside of adoration. After he's completely asleep i sit with him on the sofa, Liam joins me while explaining what to do with each head space and how Louis acts/ reacts.
Liam then leaves knowing i have what i need in the bag and that he's completely sure that Louis and myself will be fine. I just sit and stare at Louis' peaceful face until i feel myself getting more tired, eventually i fall asleep too

The next chapter with all be Louis in head space and Harry taking care of him, i also hope the chapter is long enough because I don't want to put out short chapters that take 5 seconds to read😂
