He doesn’t look like the jealous type; no, not at all. But he is, and it’s kinda hard for him to control. He doesn’t like it when you go out with your guy friends or go clubbing with them, but he doesn’t say anything because he doesn’t want to be one of those boyfriends who is more like a parent then a boyfriend. He does have a breaking point though; one where if a man so far just looks at you, all hell breaks loose. He packs punches and throws quick jabs to the other guy to tell him to simply lay off. He knows you hate it, but he has to do something to teach the other guy a lesson. “I just want you to be safe, baby. Far away from those other slimy men and next to me, because you’re mine.”

Everyone automatically assumes he is the jealous type, but in all reality, he isn’t. He understand the importance of trust in a relationship and he trust you with his life. He knows that you don’t mind if he hangs out with other girls, so he doesn’t mind if you hang out with other guys. But at times, Calum does get jealous. He knows when another man is flirting with by the way he touches your arm, or how his eyes skim down your body and he can’t have that. He can’t have something that is rightfully his being taken away from him. So he swoops in, grabbing you by the waist and pressing a kiss to your neck. He gruffly apologizes to the man (although he doesn’t actually mean it) and pulls you into a corner. “Y’know I trust you and I love you, but he was just a little bit to close to something that’s mine and that’s not okay.”

Michael never really gets jealous; no, but he does get insecure. I mean, you’re such a gorgeous girl and he’s just a guy with crazy hair that plays in a band for a living. He knows you deserve better, but he was just way too selfish to let you go. Somehow, someway, you understood his insecurities though. I mean, how could you not? He was a young, hot guy that was in a band that traveled everywhere. Everywhere he went, there was girls dropping at his feet and you became just a bit insecure as well. At night, you would press his head in the crook of your neck as he wrapped a arm tight around your waist, kissing his forehead and cheek and mumbling,”We’re both just a bit insecure, but we both deserve each other. I love you, you love me, so why be insecure? Because I sure as hell know I’m not going anywhere and hopefully you won’t either.”

To say he was the jealous type was an understatement. It wasn’t the suffocating jealousy nor the sweet jealousy, but it was the protective jealousy. You had came from a bad past with lots of betraying people, especially men. It’s not like he didn’t trust you or the men, he just wanted to be cautious because he cared about you and he wanted his baby to always be safe. You never questioned him or got mad at him when he yelled at the guy to back off. You just simply kissed his cheek and muttered a soft ‘thank-you’ into his ear. “No problem, beautiful. Just want my baby to be safe, always.”
