Hazel’s POV
“Huh?” There was a sack over my head.
“Who’s there?” A voice replied.
“What’s your name?”
“I said what’s your name boy!”
Oh great, this dumbass thinks I’m a male.
I just thought of the first thing that came up into my mind
“My names Peter.” I say smirking whilst still having my head covered with the sack.
“Oh really”, he replied.
“You don’t believe me?”
“Yeah, I don’t, I think you’re lying.” While saying so it sounded like two other boys laughed behind him.
“How do you know I’m lying”, I say in an innocent voice.
“I can tell.”
“You can’t tell!” I fire back, sarcastically.
“You can’t even see my face.”
“Well, that can change,” he said laughing towards his friends.
Right before he could rip the sack of my face I quickly grab my pocket knife from my pocket.
As soon as the sack came off so did the beanie. So I cut his face.
“Shit! What the hell a-”
“Girl?” I say quickly.
“Why yes!”
As soon as I answer I bolt in the opposite direction as the three boys. They were dumbstruck and it was hilarious.
As soon as I couldn’t see their torches I rested. I gathered some sticks into a pile and I used my flint-n-steel to light them. I was tired but I knew I couldn’t sleep. Not tonight.
Lost boy’s POV
Right as she runs away I knew I had to tell him. I tell the other boys to follow behind. When we get to the camp I immediately walk up to him.
“Pan! I need-”
“What Felix don’t you see I’m busy?” He said rolling his eyes.
Yeah playing a god damn flute is so time consuming.
“Look someone arrived a couple minutes ago and-”
“Felix, I know!”
“You do?” I say puzzled.
“Yeah, so where is the boy?”
“That’s the problem he is a-”
“Oh, what he ran away didn’t he, it’s not a big deal I’ll just-”
“No.” No one ever listens to Felix. No one.
“That’s just the problem it’s a not a boy, it’s a girl.”
Pan finally stops playing the flute and gives me a smirk.
“Well, why didn't you say so in the first place."
"I thought she'd never come."
