Beep. Beep. Beeeeeeep. I blinked open my eyes. There were two people looking at me. Both deprived. Both bands blue. Dan was the first to notice me again. "Phil! Phil, you're awake!" He breathed. I tried to smile at him.

I was struggling to sit up, when I noticed a large wound on my right side. Then I remembered why I was here. The thought of the day made me shudder. "How are you feeling, Phil?" Louise asked gently.

"Like I've been mauled by a lion."

"Chris and PJ went home," Louise informed me. I nodded.

I was about to say something when the doctor walked into my room. He said he needed for me to talk to him privately, pushing them both away. I told them I would text them soon.
