"So where did you get you drink from?" Roxana asked
"Also how did you know my name? " she asked him
"Hrm? Oh we had our first class together remember? Everyone stated their name in the beginning of class."
Roxana thought about it. "Oh yea but I don't remember you?" She Said
"Matthew Dalinar's my name." The guy was quite laid back, though when she first met him he seemed to put some energy into spilling his drink on that guy from before, now he was just relaxed.
She nodded "well it's nice to properly meet you Matthew" she said
"Likewise." He nodded.
"So where are we getting you drink Matthew?" She said to him.
"The closest place of course. There is that little shop, oh where was it?"
"The three broomsticks? In hogsmaid?" She said
He shrugged. "I don't remember exactly. So where ever you think has good drinks."
"Ok do you still want the same drink you had? Or do you like butterbeer?" She asked him
"Well as long as it's something warm."
"Ok. Butterbeer it is then." She said as she led him to the three broomsticks in hogsmaid. They then arrived.
Xyler looked at Scorpius "so dose your sister know him?" "I don't know to be honest" Scorpius said
They entered the Three Broomsticks. Other students seemed to have the same ideas because there were others there.
"They don't know each other? Then....?" A sly grin crossed her face and she giggled to herself.
The two boys looked at Lila. "What?" They asked
"What? Oh c'mon!" She smiled. "If you don't know someone what do you often do?"
The boys were still confused "uhhh.... Idk...." They said at the same time
As they entered Roxana ordered Matts butterbeer.
"You guys are laaaaame!" She said punching both of them in the arm one by one. "Okay I'll help you piece it together." She turned to Scorpius. "So when you were over there with the guy what did he do when your sister came in?"
"Uhhh.... Well he was writing something on a peice of paper which he said it was for potions class but he was covering it so I didn't know what it said and when my sister came he hid it really fast." Scorpius explained
"Hid it? Well maybe it wasn't quite that way. Because you're a first year he could be trying to hide it because you haven't taken the class yet." She let the idea sink in. "As for putting it away, if that was the case then since they are in the same class then he wouldn't have to put it away but, obviously they are discussing over school work because this is the best place to do it with few distractions."
Scorpius thought about it.. Then it clicked "ohhhh!!! Do you think?" Scorpius said to Lila
"Do you get it now?!" She giggled.
As they entered the shop Roxana ordered Matts butterbeer.
Scorpius laughed "Awww now I have something to tease her about" he said Xyler looked at them and chuckled "so he likes her? Wow" he said
Matthew found a convenient table to sit at that was the perfect spot.
Lila giggled. "Now we get to tease her! Though we don't know the full story, but it will still be fun! Maybe we can get her to spill." She smiled.
Roxana ordered hers after his she then went and sat across from Matt she then yawned "I hate going to classes and all the walking..." She said "it's so tiering
Scorpius chuckled a little "yea " he said with a smile.
"Being someone who likes to conserve their energy, I can totally agree with you." He said taking a sip of his drink. "Ah, that hits the spot."
Lila smiled back, there was a call from the doorway from another Ravenclaw. "Oh, I've got to go, see you both later!" Lila said hurrying off.
Scorpius waved bye to her "ok see ya." He said
She nodded "yea " she then took a sip of her butterbeer.
"That's why my love for short cuts has grown, but if I could make myself float everywhere I would love that even more."
Roxana giggled a little "yea that would be wonderful " she said
He smiled a bit. "But have you ever tried to do that with magic? It's quite hard actually and takes too much effort."
She shook her head " no I have it but is it really hard? Huh?" She said
She then took a mother sip of her butterbeer and after she was done she had a white mustache of foam of the butterbeer. She didn't notice
Matthew tried not to laugh and keep a straight face. "Yeah it really is difficult to do."
She saw his facial expressions "what? do I have something on my face?" She asked him
"Just a little cute white mustache." He grinned taking a drink of his butterbeer."
Roxana blushed she then looked for napkins and there weren't any she sighed "the person forgot to give me napkins " she said
"Pffft, your tongue is a natural napkin."
She pouted and then licked off the foam of her upper lip
He smiled. "What?"
"Nothing" she said she then saw that he had a white mustache also she giggled
He licked his lips, "Butterbeer is always good."
She nodded "yup it always is" she said as she smiled a little
Mug now empty he stretched and stood. "Well thank you for that, I'll say goodbye for now then."
Her mug was also empty. "Oh uh ok?" She then remembered that she had to pay the person. She got her gallions out and paid the person
He started heading out.
She then went out to follow him.
He didn't notice until they got outside
"Hey but don't you want to hang out and talk?" She said to him
He looked over at her. "Hrm? I thought that we were just making up for earlier today. But hey, if you want to we can while we head back."
"Oh ok. But it's up to you if you want" she said
"You seem like a cool guy and I would love to get to know you" she said with a smile.
Xyler and Scorpius were at the table talking then Xyler pulled out a flyer it was about a ball. "The yual ball? Is that some sort of dance? " Scorpius asked as he took the paper and looked at it. Xyler looked over at him. "Oh yea it is. It's for 2nd years through 7th years." He said "nice you going with someone?" Scorpius said as he teased him. Xyler shook his head "nah I don't have anyone to go with so eh.. No" Xyler said as his hair turned dark blue. Scorpius saw his sadness "hey it's ok! When's the dance?" Scorpius asked him. " it's in December." Xyler said. "Then you have plenty of time to find someone! And take her to the ball!! " Scorpius said with a smile
Xyler smiled seeing that Scorpius wanted him to feel better he nodded "ok your right " he said
"I wonder where Lila had to go?" Scorpius said feeling sad. Xyler saw him " Awww do you like her? " he teased him. Scorpius looked up and blushed red "n-no!!" He said Xyler laughed it's ok I won't tell her " he said still teasing him. Scorpius didn't say anything he just blushed "probably her other fiends needed her... Did you make friends the other day?" Xyler asked. Scorpius shook his head "no just you guys" he said
Xyler then felt bad "hey don't worry you will make a lot of friends when all the first years come tonight" Xyler said Scorpius then smiled "yea" he said.
"A 'cool' guy huh?" Matthew shrugged as they walked along the path that lead back to the school.
Roxana shrugged "yea" she said
"Huh never been called that before" Matt said.
"Well now you have" Roxana said as she smiled slightly.
Matthew chuckled "I suppose that I have"
Roxana giggled "yup" she said
