There's nothing like
a cool autumn breeze.
It pushes the leaves around,
and right off the trees.
The chilly air
dances around.
Listen to the crackling fire's
peaceful sound.
A cozy sweater,
and a hot tea.
An interesting book,
that's all for me.
There's Halloween too,
and a Thanksgiving feast.
Take a breath to relax
and let all worries be released.
The leaves turn orange and red
before the trees go bare.
It is too breathtaking
to not stop and stare.
A drive in the country,
to see natures change.
It's quite remarkable,
yet not at all strange.
The cold sets in
and the days grow small,
it truly is a beautiful time,
enjoyed by all.
