it was after the last pageant practice before the actual pageant, the real deal, and I had promised brendon I would go see his band.
I threw on a pair of jean shorts and a Harvard law (just kidding) sweatshirt brendon always made me wear because he thought it was funny, that or he liked how it showed off some of my stomach.
'stop it kaity, he doesn't like you!'
I walked out and got into Brendon's car and he looked at me with an excited grin.
