I stretched out as I slowly woke up and cuddled back into Kol, not wanting to go to school again. I swear I've only been to school like three times and I probably didn't even stay the full time. I groaned slightly and began to move from Kol's chest.
I felt him grip onto my side a little tighter and I bit my lip, trying to think of a way to get out of the bed without waking Kol. I lifted a piece of my hair and rubbed at against his nose slightly and he moved his hand from my waist to scratch at it. I quickly slipped out of Kol's arms and placed a pillow in my place. I watched for a second as Kol hugged onto the pillow for a moment before sighing out a relaxing again.
I smiled lightly and turned to the wardrobe, looking through the clothes that Rebekah had gotten me. Rebekah was very confident in her body - which I admire - and sadly, I was not. I looked over all the short dresses, skirts, shorts and crop tops with a few jumpers and such.
I eventually decided on a pair of denim shorts and a black and white stripy crop top. I grabbed one of Kol's flannels and tightened it around my waist - making up for the slight lack of shorts.
I quickly walked to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, my hair and quickly washed my face before exiting the bathroom, glancing out of the window before sitting on the bed softly, glancing back at Kol before slipping my socks and shoes on.
I stood up from the bed and placed my hand over the half-moon necklace Kol had given me last night, smiling lightly as I ran my hand over the metal and tucked it under my shirt - slightly worried that Klaus would see it and assume.
I gripped a pair of sunglasses from the dresser after glancing outside and seeing the bright light. I slipped the sunglasses on top of my head, behind my ears. I looked back to Kol once more, a smile appearing on my face, before moving towards the door and turning the handle, pulling the door open.
I gasped slightly as Kol stood in front of me, his only item of clothing being his black sweats handing lowly on his hips. I glanced up to Kol, seeing him smirk as I had just admired him. "What?" I spoke, looking into Kol's brown eyes.
"You are really trying to sneak out of an Original Vampire's bedroom?" He asked mockingly.
"I was being polite, I didn't want to wake you," I told Kol and crossed my arms over my chest as he simply smiled at me. Oh my God, why did he have to look so good all the time? It wasn't fair! He was literally a greek god and I was a potato. A kawaii potato, but a potato nonetheless.
He then glanced down at my outfit before him smile grew. I gave him a confused look and he raised his hand, slipping it under my top and pulling out the necklace that he had given me. "Do you like it?" He asked again, studying the necklace before looking back up at me.
"Of course I love it, stupid." I laughed at the fake offended look on his face. "Now what do you want? I have to get to school." Kol pouted slightly, dropping the necklace over my top and taking a hold of both of my hands, silently asking me not to go. I turned my head away from him, not wanting to look into his eyes, knowing he would make me stay if I did. "Kol.." I whined slightly as I glanced everywhere aside from his eyes.
"Fine." He spoke and lifted one of his hand, turning my head to face him. I couldn't help but stare into his eyes as he leaned forward and pressed his lips against mine firmly. "Have fun." he whispered softly. "And call me if anything happens. And I mean anything."
I nodded with a smile playing on my lips as I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him lightly before turning us and shoving him into the room. "Bye Kol," I smiled at him before shutting the bedroom door and walking down to the front door.
I jumped slightly as a voice spoke from behind me. "School?" I turned to see Klaus stood beside the staircase, looking over me. I nodded and he laughed slightly. "Isn't that a little boring for someone of your..." He paused slightly. ".. Nature?"
"What do you mean?" I asked, leaning slightly on the half-open door.
"I mean, you're so.." He paused, scratching along his jaw, thinking of what to say. "How do I say... Sarcastic? Enthusiastic? Interesting?" He spoke and I looked at him, letting out a slight scoff as he took a few steps towards me. "What?"
"How oblivious are you?" I asked and he narrowed his eyes slightly at me. I cleared my throat, stepping back as he took a step towards me. "I mean.." I corrected myself, not wanting to upset him. "I'm not a vampire... I can't just compel my way through life, Klaus." I spoke with a shrug as I tightened the flannel around my waist after feeling it slide down slightly.
"You could be." Klaus spoke and I shook my head.
"No. I want a semi-normal life." Klaus raised his eyebrows and cleared my throat again, realising I had messed up. "I mean.. Like I want to be normal but I can't abandon my vampire.. werewolf, hybrid friends." He raised his eyebrows at the last one, thinking I meant him. "Tyler."
He sighed slightly. "I expected nothing more." He shrugged. "Have fun."
I watched as he exited the main room, heading towards his study and I heard a car's honk from outside. I frowned slightly, peaking my head out of the door to see Caroline's car in front of the house. "Care!" I cheered, shutting the door behind me as I exited the house.
"Hey!" She greeted as I slipped into her car and we shared a slight hug. "I didn't want you staying home all day again," She shrugged as she shifted gears, moving the car. "Or walking to school by yourself.. although I sort of knew Kol would be with you." She stopped the car and I glanced to the side, seeing Kol stood at the door, now in a pair of grey sweats and a black shirt.
"Go," I spoke to Caroline as I blew a kiss towards Kol. He pouted as he heard my word and Caroline laughed at my actions, starting the car again and driving in the direction of the school.
"So.. How's everything?" She asked me, glancing in the reer mirror before driving forward.
"It's good," I smiled truthfully as I thought back to this morning. "How's Ric?" My smile faltered as I remembered how Alaric had some sort of alter-ego appearing randomly. Caroline let out a sigh, running her hand through her hair in annoyance.
"It's... we're working on it." She shrugged.
I glanced towards her, wanting to know what was happening to Alaric. "Please, Caroline. I care about Alaric."
She sighed slightly, turning the wheel as we took a corner. "It's.." She paused, pursing her lips. "He attacked Meredith," I looked at her with shock. He attacked his girlfriend?! "Well.. not him - the alter ego creepy dude." Caroline shrugged and I laughed at her wording.
"Has Bonnie or anyone figured out any way to help him?" I asked carefully - not knowing how Caroline and Bonnie were doing, considering Bonnie had yet to decide what 'side' she was on.
"No.. not yet." Caroline sighed out as we stopped in front of the school.
"How do you know all of this? Are you and Elena friends again?" I asked as Caroline and I both stepped out of the car and I walked to her side. Caroline glanced at me as we began to walk towards the school.
"Hell no." She scoffed out and I laughed. "She slapped me for no reason." She exclaimed, throwing her arms around. "She has to apologise for that - and for being rude to you and Kol." Caroline shrugged and I couldn't help but smile. She was accepting of the fact I wanted to be with Kol - that's all I wanted... for my friends and my boyfriend to get along.
"Yeah, she doesn't deserve you if she's just gonna be rude." I added as I glanced round the car park, seeing Jeremy and Elena getting out of her car. I nudged Caroline slightly and nodded my head in their direction.
Caroline and I gave each other confused looks as Jeremy noticed us and started to walk towards us. Elena then gripped his wrist, turning him so she looked at him. I listened the hardest I could with my werewolf hearing and sighed when I couldn't make out what they were saying.
"She's saying that he should stay away from you." Caroline spoke when she realised I couldn't hear them. "She's talking about - oh! oh okay she knows i'm listening she's telling me to stay away from Jeremy." I watched as Elena talked in the direction of Caroline and I - making herself look like she was talking to the air and she was crazy.
"Well, Caroline. What do you have first?"

I know he was under 25 but over 18
