You, Shawn and Elliot went back to your house. You didn't have to live with your dumpy neighbors any longer. To be honest, they were phychos!
Layla was still asleep when you got home, so she had no idea what happened, and thought everything was normal.
Everything was okay. You were alive. Your friends and family were alive. It's okay.
Your power had been turned back on. It won't be as bad. You had wifi, and electric. When you got home, Shawn asked
"What do you all want for dinner?"
"Porkchops!" Layla said.
"Dumplings!" You said.
"Steak!" Elliot said.
Shawn chuckled. "I'll make some meats with a side of dumplings" he said with a grin, and he pulled out some pots and pans and the meat and got to work.
You put your arms around Shawn's neck. "I've been depressed lately, and not helping you with dinner.. may I help?" you said, smiling.
"Of course."
