He made Tyler smile.
The most amazing smile ever.
It was just like Josh imagined it would be, if not, better. He had dimples and everything, Josh wanted to kiss him so bad. Seeing those pink, soft looking lips right in front of him.
But he couldn't.
It was simply too fast and he knew if he kissed Tyler, the boy might freak out a bit. Maybe feel used or pranked, and Josh didn't want that. He wanted the brown haired boy to know that he cared about him so much.

Josh never understood why girls still flirted with him, but they did. And he always tries to reject them as nicely as possible, so when a girl with black skinny jeans and a blue tanktop and long brown hair walked up to him, he simply sighed and waited for her pick up line or bad attempt at flirting.
However, she simply smiled, asking, "I know many girls are after you, but I saw you in my Math class and ... well, my name is Jade and maybe you could consider going out with me? This Friday? There's a movie playing, and it looks good."
Josh felt guilty, seeing her blue eyes so hopeful and sparkling, but he knew it would be wrong to lie and act straight. "I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly going for your type."
"My type? Am I too girly or something?" She asked worried, glancing at her outfit and heels, almost frantically.
He chuckled, shaking his head, "No, you're beautiful. But, I'm gay.
Jade frowned, "Oh, well...I mean, maybe you could change your mind?"
He let out a humorous laugh. Change his mind? Do people actually think you can change your sexuality like that? Sure, you could be confused, but Josh is positive he's gay. He simply isn't attracted to girls, and finds boys much more pleasing.
"Wow, are you homophobic or something?" Josh asked. "Cause, you can't just change your mind on your sexuality."
"Maybe you're just confused or something!" She exclaimed, pouting like a dog.
Josh scoffed, hearing the bell ring. "Saved by the bell, see ya."
"Whatever." Jade flipped her hair and strutted off down the hall, as if she was a model or something. She's beautiful, Josh could see this, but usually girls with a pretty face hide an ugly personality.
Usually, but not all the time.
Josh headed to history where he saw Andrew and this girl with blonde hair and pink ends talking. Well, more like flirting.
He could overhear Andrew mentioning how he works out, which Josh nearly laughed at, cause it's obvious Andrew does not work out.
Not that Andrew isn't muscular, because Josh has seen him shirtless and admits there's a small, little six pack and his arms have slight biceps.
But, that's probably just because of gym class where Andrew actually attempts to do the exercises, while Josh walks around like a lazy ass and chats with Tyler secretly.
Being the amazingly sweet and considerate person he is, Josh shouted, "Andrew, stop flirting and get your ass over here!"
Everyone laughed and Andrew blushed, mumbling a quick goodbye and rushed to his seat next to Josh, who was grinning.
He scowled, "What?"
"Hi!" Josh said, acting innocent.
Andrew huffed, crossing his arms, "You're such a dick Josh. You interrupted me getting with Amy just to say hi? I hate you so much."
"You love me," Josh sung, "Now, who is Amy? Your crush?"
"Shut up," Andrew mumbled, blushing fiercely. Well that answers Josh's question.
Josh sighed, asking, "Do you know Jade?"
"The girl in our math class?" Josh nodded and Andrew pursed his lips, "Uhm, I just know she's super sweet and some genius with Math. Also, she's on the girls basketball team, she's the best player actually, why?"
Josh groaned, of course she's considered nice. If Josh hadn't talked to her that whole time, he would have assumed she was a sweet girl, but then she had to ask if he could change his sexuality.
"Well, she tried getting me to go out with her, then I told her I was gay and she said 'Maybe I could change'," The red head explained, scoffing at the ridiculous idea.
Andrew stayed quiet for a moment, and Josh didn't like that. Did he agree with Jade? That would just ruin everything if he did, but then Andrew chuckled, "I can see what she's thinking, but it's your sexuality and only you know who you are."
"Well, yeah," He shrugged. "People are confused at this age, but still. I know I'm gay, I have my whole life. Never once did I like a girl. I thought of them as just friends, but then I kissed a guy and I knew I was gay."
Before Andrew could respond, Amy came up and tapped his shoulder, reminding him, "I hope to see you at the party, don't forget it's Friday!"
He nodded and she sharpened her pencil, Andrew gasped, "Oh, yeah so Molly is having a party and you're invited, same with Ian. Think you could come?"
"I don't know, parties aren't my thing." Josh never went to parties much, especially high school ones. They usually involve drinking and sex. Lots of sex.
And he didn't care much for sex before marriage, but he hates how everyone is so open with it.
Andrew pouted,"Please? I promise it'll be fun. Ian and I barely drink, and we'll behave. Plus, you're still pretty new."
"I've been here 3 months," Josh scowled, rolling his eyes. "Fine I'll go! On one condition," He smirked.
"Anything."
"Tyler has to come."
At first, Andrew was hesitant. He came up with a few excuses, all lame. 'He won't have fun', 'No one will know him', 'It'll be awkward', and a couple more that were basically the same reasons, however worded worded differently.
Now, Josh knows that Tyler will deny it, but he's sure he could convince him.

When he invited Tyler over again, the brown haired boy agreed quicker than last time, but still seemed nervous.
Josh simply brushed it off, and soon they were in the red heads bedroom, chatting quietly, Josh keeping his voice low so Tyler doesn't feel awkward.
And suddenly, Tyler said, "My birthday is soon."
"Really?" Tyler nodded and Josh grinned, wiggling his eyebrows, "Guess I gotta get you a present."
Tyler smiled, and Josh nearly fainted.
Since Tyler first flashed Josh a smile, he's only done it a couple times and they are always small and barely there, but Josh notices and always pokes his dimples.
Tyler let out a small giggle, which Josh found too cute, and swatted his hand away, "Stop it Josh! And you don't have to get me a present."
"Yes, I do," Josh retorted, giving him a obvious look. "We're friends and friends give each other presents on birthdays. When is it?"
"It's in 2 weeks. December 1st," He replied.
Josh mentally kept the date in mind and then remembered the party. "Hey Ty? Have you ever been to a party before?"
Tyler shook his head, "Nope."
"Do you wanna go to one?" Josh gave him a hopeful look but frowned when Tyler shook his head again. "Please?"
"No Josh," Tyler sighed, staring at the ceiling from where he laid in Josh's bed, the red head next to him. "No one likes me, I don't like anyone. I don't drink, I can't dance, I won't dance, and it'll just be boring. Besides, you'll probably get bored of me and leave me alone..."
"Ty, I won't leave your side the whole night. We'll have fun and just eat, drink soda, and hang out. It'll be fun, I promise."
Josh can still see the hesitance in Tyler's expression, so he added, "Why don't you sleepover too? You can stay the night, I'm sure my mom wouldn't mind."
"Really? I never had a sleepover,"
He admitted with a small blush.
Josh nearly gasped, but held it in and nodded,"Of course, so will you come?" giving Tyler puppy dog eyes.
"Ugh," Tyler groaned, "Fine."
