Great blurb and descriptive blurb. It fits the title of the story. Not too long and I like the question at the end. Maybe you could add 'and why?' To it. I'm just suggesting, you don't have to add it. The blurb is nice.
I like the names especially Alan.
I think there's a nice plot to the story. Take your time and express yourself the best way you possible can.
I like your use of English and the way you construct your sentences. It's really nice, and descriptive enough.
