Chapter fourteen

"Get your hands off me!!!" Olivia  said yelling as the doctors tried to examine her after my wedding reception fiasco.
She was yelling and screaming for someone to talk to her about Dickie. I just kept thinking about how the shooter is Jo's son. Her son. I so badly wanted to punch a wall. But Olivia she was a wreck. All I could do is hold her in my arms.
"I will fix this Liv." I promised her
"How the hell can you fix this!" She pulled away from me
"Our son is laying in a hospital fighting for his life because your WIFE failed to mention that her son hates her and David so much he is willing to kill both of them!" She yelled
I walked towards her. She just walked even further away from me and cried into her hands.
"I am sorry. I'm sorry that I didn't protect our son from this. But Olivia don't push me away. "I pleaded
I saw Amanda come down the hall with two small duffle bags in her hand.
" I thought y'all might want to be in something more comfortable, so I got you some clothes and Fin is on his way with some coffee." Amanda smiled softly
"Thank you" I replied
Olivia took her bag coming back five minutes later in a pair of black leggings, thigh high brown boots and black sweater with her hair cascading down her back in curls. David comes in running.
"Stay the hell away from me." Liv said I a low voice
"I am so sorry about Nathan. I had no idea he would show up and try to shoot me." He panted
My blood boiled over.
I threw David against the wall with my forearm in his throat.
"My son is fighting for his life because another one of the many kids you have with Jo is trying to kill you. So in case you would like to live to see tomorrow, stay the hell away from my family." I said angrily
Olivia had her arms around my waist pulling me from David.
"El, you're killing him, let go." She said
I had heard the sound of heels running down the hall. I turned to see Jo running towards me.
"Elliot, Olivia I am so sorry." She breathed out
"Stop saying you're sorry! If you and David had been truthful about your past relationship with eachother none of this would be happening in the first place! How many other kids are there besides the three you have now!" Olivia screamed
"Three?" I asked
"Yes, three ever wonder why Sara didn't have the same features as our children, she looks just like him and I think you know that too." Olivia yelled
I turned to Jo.
"Is it true?" I asked softly
"Elliot, I was going to tell you. I really was. But you were so happy when Sara was born, it was a secret I was going I keep to myself. David didn't want to hurt Olivia and I... I didn't want you to walk away." She whimpered
I took off my wedding ring and threw it at her.
"So everything is a lie with you!" I screamed
"El, baby I love you so much that I didn't want to hurt you." Jo cried
"What happened to you screwing David behind my back and letting me think Sara was mine." I yelled
"I am so sorry. Please don't leave me." She cried
Jo tried to reach out for my hand. I snatched it out of reach.
"Go fuck David." I seethed before walking away.
