Officer 1: Miss Ford may we come in

Mum said ascending from the kitchen
Mum: Fabulous you're here, please come in.
As the officers sit on the sofa my mum offered any beverages, they both requested tea with one spoon of sugar.

She goes back into the kitchen and I follow her

Mum: Yes I went to the station yesterday and filed a missing person report
Me: WHY?!
She stopped everything and stared at me
Mum: Is there a problem? Do you not want to find your brother?

Mum: Cause ever since you came back you haven't shown any sympathy for him at all, every time I brought it up you simply brushed it off as if it was lint on your shoulder. Do you not care about him?
Me: No! I worry about him but, I think you're overreacting by calling the police, you know he always does his disappearing trick
Mum: I know Alexis but, this time, something is wrong, I can feel it in my heart

Mum: Now go upstairs like your sisters and wait to be called down

Mum: Yes to be interviewed, you was the last one to have seen him

I left the kitchen and dashed to my room without making eye contact with the officers. I closed the door, sank to the floor and called Connor

Me: We have a problem

Me: The police is here

Mum shouts from the living room

I shout back
Me: Connor I have to go, my mum's calling me

I giggled and hung up the phone

I open the door and see Courtney walking back to her room

I ignored her comment and proceeded to the living room

The Officer I was talking to earlier addresses me first and the second Officer is just taking down notes
Officer 1: We're going to start off by asking you a few questions

Officer 1: Why's that?
Me: I hate being questioned
Officer 1: Why?

Me: I'm not comfortable bringing my friend into this situation

An hour went past just answering questions and telling Police how this is natural for Andre to disappear for days. They urged me that if I get any calls or texts from any of Andre's friends I should inform them. I wasn't ready to bring Connor in this mess so I didn't mention him. After my interview I ran up to my room cracked open all my windows sat on my bed trying to calm my breathing down. Then there was a knock at my door. It made me jump a little but, I proceeded to answer it.
Me: Coming
I opened to see Connor standing there holding a box of chocolates and a bag of Mac D's. I didn't know what to feel, me and Connor are on getting better but, showing up at my bedroom door was such a reach
Me: What are you doing here
I tried to keep my voice down
Connor: Relax your mum knows I'm here, she let me in. I came to check up on you
Me: I didn't need you to check up on me
Connor: You sounded like you was going to throw up on the phone

He gave me a side smile knowing that I wouldn't turn him down because he's holding Mac d's

We sat on my bed talking about what we're gonna do next. Connor suggested that he goes back to the safe house to find any clues. I have to go to the warehouse that I was kidnapped in and check in there.
Connor: Are you going to be okay going to that warehouse alone?
Me: Why wouldn't I be
I said with a mouthful of fries
Connor moved a little closer to me for some reason.
Me: What are you doing
Connor: Adjusting my trousers

I look up at him and he's staring down at me, he was wearing all black today as per usual. His hair was a little wet.. Probably from taking a shower, he looks clean, his hair looks freshly cut, he shaved his stubble which enhanced his jaw line and he's looking a little more muscular then the last time I saw him.

I reach for my phone besides me to see I have a text message from Daniel... Of course

I looked at him shocked and amazed. Has he really forgotten what he did? I can never understand why he can casually kill someone... Especially someone I loved just to make a point. Is that human? Is he human? I don't even know but, what I do know is that I can never forgive him after that.

Connor looks away guiltily then he sighs

I stay quiet

Then Courtney leaves
After I compose myself, I get up and face Connor

He says while standing up

A familiar car pulls over across the road from us and it just stays there for a bit. The windows are tinted so we can see through it. I face Daniel who is as confused as I am. He says while gesturing his hand. Junior looks good, I mean he has no scars, he looks healthy, he doesn't even seem angry.

I'm frozen, I can't speak, I feel like he's going to pull out a gun any minute and shoot me

At this point my blood is boiling and I'm standing arms length away from him

We stayed at the park for about an hour talking about the plan. I have to go to the warehouse today and Junior goes to the safe house with Daniel.

Junior says pulling up the warehouse

He says while looking back at me from the drivers seat

I leave the car and head towards the door. Fuck! The warehouse is located in such a hidden place. Even if I scream no one could hear me. I turn the knob and the door screeches open
Me: Hello?
What am I doing? Is this a fucking horror movie? I'm setting myself up! But I gotta do this for Andre!
The room is pitch black, I check my phone and there's no signal, I then turn the flash light on and scan the room
