Here's chapter 1! I hope you'd enjoy it :D Oh, and he hasn't met Layla yet, since the story is about Samy. I wanted to give you a small idea about him :)

Chapter 1:

“Hey Sami, want some?” my friend Nate asked, his black eyes boring into mine, as he waved some weed in front of me. I grinned, and lit it up, putting the smoke between my lips. I inhaled deeply, and closed my eyes, as the smell hit my nose. All the frustration I had earlier disappeared, and was replaced by pleasure, as I took another inhale. I heard the boys I was with laughing, and a wide grin spread itself on my face.

“That’s what I call, a fucking life,” I stated, making Shane bump his fist in mine, waving his hand to prove my point. We were sitting on the pavement; of this small town, we called ‘ours’. We weren’t in the rich side of the town, so no one would give a shit about what we did, or what we smoked. They would just walk straight ahead of us, not giving us a second glace. Who cares anyway? I was poor, then what?

I took another smoke, as I saw some boys coming our way. I glanced at Nate, and saw him shouting me a warning look; he knew what was playing in my mind. The boys approached us, laughing at some fucking joke a blond guy said. I rolled my eyes, what did they want again?

“Well, well, well, look who’s in here!” the blond guy called Josh said, as he stood just a few feet away from me. I didn’t pay attention to what that mother fucker did, as I took another inhale casually, not giving a fucking glance back at him.

“Step back Michaels,” Shane growled, going his way. He stood up in front of him, a few inches separating them, as he glared in a threatening manner. I smirked, closing my eyes, still smoking the weed, as I snorted in a sarcastic manner.

“Come and suit yourself mother fucker, want some? I’m sure your daddy’s won’t mind,” I waved the weed in front of him, my smirk growing wider while speaking, and I heard him growl. Nate put his hand on my shoulder, and I waved him off. That jerk needed to pay some lesson. This was my territory, my fun, and I wasn’t gonna let some rich bastard take it away from me.

“Fuck you Dortmund!” Josh yelled, and I laughed humourlessly, getting up lazily on my feet. I looked at him, with an eyebrow raised, and a smug smirk plastered on my face as I looked at the bunch of idiots in front of me.

I marched towards him, and he took a small step back. I smirked. “Scared? Don’t be, I’ll make it quick.” Nate and Shane laughed beside me, which only made my smirk go wider.

“Don’t look so smug Dortmund, you know you can’t do a fucking thing to me,” the bastard smirked, making a sigh escape my lips. I faked a thinking manner, as I looked at the sky. I was just in front of him, as I looked at him, my eyes boring into his. My glare could make a fucking wolf run away, and a damn Josh pee his fucking pants.

I took one last inhale of my weed, before throwing it on the ground. I held my hands into fists, as I punched him straight in the face. He didn’t see it coming, so he collapsed on the wet ground, and making the three guys who were with him flinch and take a few steps back. I smirked, as I approached him. I gave him another punch in his stomach, and one on his face, before turning around, and leaving him laying there. He was so fucking weak, and I wasn’t in the mood of fighting.

“Next time, think before talking, you fucking piece of shit,” I snickered, grabbing my back pack from the pavement, and walking ahead, not giving one last glance at the weak bastard laying on the floor. It was five in the afternoon, and school had finished like an hour ago. He fucking blew my fun away.

“Hold up a second there, tough boy!” Nate cried out, and I stopped in my tracks, waiting for them to appear next to me. Shane had a smug smirk on his face, as Nate started laughing.

“That served him right!” Shane bumped his fist in mine, and I grinned.

“Well, that’s Sami for you,” I replied smugly, as we all walked through the slightly dark street, where there weren’t even enough lights to lit it up. Nate rolled his eyes, throwing his arm over my shoulder.

“Don’t be so smug, dude, that fucking bastard was weak.” I rolled my eyes.

“I could’ve done much more to him mother fucker, so just shut up,” I glared at him, and he grinned.

“Whatever dude!” he chuckled. “Listen up Sami, I’m gonna hook up with this chick tonight, so don’t wait up for me!” I grinned, shaking my head. We were supposed to go to this club tonight, to get some jag, but I guess he outran us in this.

“Who’s the unlucky girl?” Shane asked faking seriousness, and I snorted.

“Good one Jackson!” I slapped his back, lightly and he smirked.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, the girl’s smokin’ hot, so whatever.” We all grinned, and I muttered a ‘have fun’ followed by a wink, as I separated ways with the two of them, each one of us going home. Yep, we didn’t live in the same area; I lived downtown in some old apartment, and they lived in the uptown, where there was nothing, but houses and rich people. I was poor, but this didn’t affect me one bit. Money could go to the hell! I scratched my crotch and spit on the ground, as I walked on the dirty road that got me home. I threw a Coca can that was on the street, making the sound echo through the empty road.

I grabbed a smoke from my right pocket, and lit it up, as I strolled down the road, a narrowed expression on my face.  I walked a few feet more, with the earphones connected to my ears. I didn’t know the fucking song that was playing, or whose bastard the song was, I just swooned my head to the beat, taking an inhale of my smoke.

A few minutes later, I was in front of a dull building, where the dipshit I called my ‘home’ was. I groaned, leaving the smoke between my lips, as I mounted the stairs, hurriedly, until I arrived to our apartment. I knocked on the door, and I heard movements coming from the other corner, until the door swung open. There was standing a sandy-haired girl at the age of seven, a wide grin plastered on her face. I smiled, as I lifted her in my arms.

“How is my little princess?” I asked playfully, and she grinned a toothless grin, making me chuckle.

“She is good!” she exclaimed, both her eyebrows rose.

“That’s good to hear, beautiful,” I smiled, putting her on the floor. “Where’s mommy, Rose?” I asked, going to the kitchen, and grabbing some leftovers. Rose followed behind me, before pointing at the closed door in the other side of the house. I sighed, getting up, and heading there. The smoke still in my fingers. I opened her door, to see the blond woman who once was as beautiful as ever sitting on the bed, a smoke on her left hand, and a bear on the other. She looked tired, and her blue eyes were sad, and distant.

“Mom?” she lifted her head a little bit, looking at me slightly, before she dropped her eyes on her lap. “What happened?” I asked, worry slipping from my tongue.

“I lost my fucking job!” she yelled, and I sighed, closing my eyes. “Don’t you worry, I’ve got some money from the shitty work I’m doing.”I simply said, getting out, and closing the door behind me. I looked down at Rose, and smiled.

“How was school, R?” the blue-eyed girl looked down, and I sighed. “Those rich girls are bothering you again?” I asked bitterly, and she suddenly flinch, as my eyes looked softly at her. “I’m sorry, beautiful,” I bent down to her level, and gestured for her to come by my side, “come here little angel,” I whispered, and she jumped on my arms, hugging me tightly. “I’ll get it sorted out, okay?” I felt her nod, before she pulled away from me. “Go do your homework, okay?”

“Okay,” she whispered with her little voice, running to the room she shared with Natalie, my other sister. She was two years younger than me, which meant she was fifteen. I sighed, going in my room. It was a small room with a bed, a desk, a small closet, and some posters plastered on the wall. They were ll of bands, and some naked women, which kept me entertained, if you ask me. I sat on the bed, thinking about what I should do to make our lives better.

I was supposed to be the man of the house, after my father left us. There was one problem though, we had many debts, that my father left, that we had to pay. My job, which is a fucking worker at a gas station, would take me nowhere.

I sighed, looking at the small frame I had on my desk. It was a picture of all my family. I grabbed it, and looked at it intensely. My mother was smiling, as my dad held my shoulder. Rose was still a baby, and Natalie was ten years old. We were a happy family, like we’re supposed to do. I sighed, putting the frame back on the desk.

I lay down on the bed, looking at the ceiling, still thinking. I had to do something to make it up for my family, I had to. My mother worked her ass off for four years straight, and I guess it would be my turn now.

A few minutes later, I heard a knock on my door, and I got up to open it. There stood up Natalie, a small smile playing on her lips, as she hugged me tightly. Her short blonde hair tickling my neck. “Why so early?” she asked, and I rolled my eyes.

“Don’t think much sister, I’m going out in two hours or so, I have no work today.” I smiled, but then frowned. “Where were you anyway Nat? School finishes at four, I think,” I said, crossing my arms over my chest. I saw her smile nervously, and I figured she would lie to me.

“I stayed at the library,” she whispered, and I sighed. I didn’t believe her, but dropped it. I would deal with it, some other time. I went back to my room, and grabbed the copybook. I needed to finish some homework before going out later. I had to at least study to be able to get my family the hell out of here.

I sighed, as I sat on my desk. I needed to do something, and I will.
