My paws thudded upon the earth as I ran. The scent of the forest was heavy upon my nostrils, as well as the scent of the fire. The angry, twisting fire as it consumed the forest around me. The presence of the fire occupied my mind, my internal fear made me run. The animalistic, internal fear that seemed to be present ever too often. The fire blocked out every other thought, except for those of my Grimm.
