Hello Yaoi Soldiers!
I'm so sorry for the hiatus. I've been diligently working on the Volume 1 manga adaption of this story and writing the manuscript for the second volume. As you can tell, I've been super busy. I've written this part long ago and have forgotten about it. I finally have some time to spare and edit, so now I am posting it.
PLEASE let me know your thoughts by leaving comments! It really motivates me to write! Thank you so much for your support!

Here is Joberu's B-day gift to me:
I look sexy here lmao!

Today finally came.
No pun intended. I swear to God.
I really want to sort this thing out with Kenji and Kazuo. I still haven't mustered the courage to break it to Kenji. He's been very aggressive as of late, while I've been the same to Kazuo.
This is not right.
This is not fair.
I don't know what to think or do anymore.
My heart and mind are torn between these two people.
I do have feelings for Kenji.
But how can I have feelings for Kazuo as well?
It's different for both.
A part of me is tied to Kenji while the other half clings on to Kazuo.
As much as I want to understand, I just can't.
I'm just going with the flow like a spineless bastard.
Right now, I'm rowing into dangerous waters.
I just know it.
I have two cakes right in front of me, and I want to eat them both.
Mom: Make sure you don't forget anything! Did you bring extra underwear? Sunscreen?
Misaki: Yes mom, I did.
Mom: Okay, I'm just making sure. I know how you can easily forget. Double check your bag to make sure, 'kay?
Misaki: Yes, mom.
Is everyone's mom this overbearing?
Sheesh, give me a break.
Mom: Kenji seems to be a responsible guy. I'm pretty sure he'll take care of you. I at least can relax a bit.
Misaki: Mom, I can take care of myself just fine.
Mom: Can't blame me. You're pretty helpless without any help.
Misaki: Psh.
Right in the middle of our bickering, someone knocks on our front door.
Mom: I'll get it.
My mom answers the door.
Mom: Kenji's here!
She screams.
Mom: Oh, future son-in-law! Please, come on in. Do you want something to drink? Tea? Juice? Coffee?
My mom shamelessly clings onto Kenji's arm and walks him to the living room.
Kenji: I'm good, Mrs. Nanase. Don't trouble yourself.
Mom: Ah, Don't be too formal. Call me mom. Please have something, I insist. Misaki is still getting ready anyway. Can you believe that child?
Kenji: It's alright. I can wait. Okay, coffee sounds good.
Mom: You forgot the mom part.
Kenji: Coffee sounds good, mom.
Kenji looks forced but complies anyway.
Mom: Kyah! It has a nice ring to it when you said it. I love it!
Kenji: Uh—
Mom: Oh right, coffee! With cream and sugar?
Kenji: Just black.
Mom: One black coffee coming right up.
Kenji softly laughs and sits down on the couch.
My mom leaves.
Misaki: Please ignore my mom, she's crazy.
Kenji: It's okay. I think she's fun.
Misaki: You don't know half of it. Just...um...yeah. Ignore her.
Kenji: It's alright. Misaki...
He points at his lips.
Kenji: Where's my kiss?
Misaki: Can you wait? I still have to check my bags.
Kenji: Don't worry about it. Come over here.
Misaki: Stop fooling around. My mom's right there.
Kenji: It's fine. She caught us and didn't say anything. I don't she'll mind it.
I'm still rummaging my bag to check if I've packed everything I need.
When suddenly...
Kenji grabs my arm and pulls me closer to him.
Kenji: It will only take a sec—
Kenji tilts his head, reaches for the back of my head and runs his fingers through my hair.
Once he's done, I quickly push him away.
Misaki: Do you really have to use your tongue?
I wipe my lips and continue on checking my stuff.
Kenji: Is it inappropriate to do that?
Misaki: Yes, it is.
Kenji: I'm sorry. I can't help it. Your mouth is just...soft and hot...
Misaki: Please, stop. How can you say those things with that face?!
Kenji: With what face?
Misaki: Ugh! Never mind.
My mom comes in with a cup coffee in her hand.
Mom: Here you are, enjoy.
Honestly, something is up with my mom.
Her voice and her mannerism have changed.
I don't get it.
Kenji is an okay guy but to go as far as to asking him to call her mom...
That's very suspicious if you ask me. I think I'm missing something here.
Is she that determined to ship me away with some guy she just knew?
Also, she knows that I am a guy, right?
Is she fine with it?
How about dad?
I know I used to be a girl but...
Ah, forget it! I'm rambling.
My mom hands over the coffee to Kenji.
Kenji: Thank you.
Kenji takes a sip and looks at me.
Mom: Are you almost done, Misaki?
Misaki: Yes. Everything I need is right here. I'm gonna load it in the car right now.
Mom: Oh take your time, let me enjoy Kenji's company.
Misaki: Sure.
I left them alone and carried my bags and loaded it to Kenji's car.
God knows what they're talking about.
I came back in and the two were laughing.
Misaki: It's all set.
Kenji: Alrighty then, thank you so much for allowing Misaki to go with me on this trip, Mrs. Nanase. I'll take good care of him.
Mom: Oh I know you will. Have fun and please be safe.

We left the house and hopped in the car, and Kenji started driving.
Kenji: Your mom is really something, huh?
Misaki: She is. I wonder what you did to my mom for her to trust you this much.
Kenji: Well, let see. Moms have great intuitions. She probably saw that my intentions are pure.
Misaki: Huh-uh. Your intention is not pure at all. Do you remember what you did to me the other day?
Kenji: About that...I thought you like it when I'm rough. I guess, for future reference, I'll be gentler just for you.
Misaki: Is that all you think about?
Kenji: Not all the time but most of the time.
Misaki: See? Your intentions are not pure.
Kenji: Don't come at me like that Misaki. You read those ero books all the freakin' time. You're probably more sexual than I am.
Misaki: At least I don't act on them!
Kenji: Really? Okay, how about this.
Misaki: What?
Kenji: Give me your hand. I'm not gonna pull a fast one on you.
Misaki: I don't want to—
Kenji: I'm not gonna let you touch anything unless you want to. I just want to hold your hand.
I unwillingly extend my hand to him.
Kenji: See? Very innocent, right? Just so you know, I'm still not opposed to the idea. I mean, if you want to touch it...go right ahead.
Misaki: Just stop talking and focus on the road, please. Let's just enjoy the drive.
Kenji: Alright.

Kenji didn't speak much most of the drive. He also didn't let go of my hand. I found it kinda cute and sweet.
When we reached the mountains, he slowed down a bit and showed me breathtaking and beautiful views.
For a moment there, the only person in my mind was Kenji.
However...
On the back of my mind, I still know that I am forgetting something.
Something very important...
_____________
After an hour or so, we arrived to our destination.
To my surprise...
Misaki: I thought it was a cabin. This is a two story house!
Kenji: Yeah, it is a cabin.
Misaki: I was expecting more of a tiny wooden house. This is bigger than our house. Kenji, who exactly are you?
Kenji: Stop exaggerating, it's not much.
Misaki: Okay...
And at that moment, I finally put two and two together.
My mom knows Kenji's worth.
Unfreakinbelievable.
Kenji: You can leave your stuff right there. I want to show around while the sun is still out.
When we were about to step outside, another car pulled over.
Kyoko stepped out of the passenger seat.
And another familiar face slowly appears in my view.
It's Kazuo.
