Luke: so here's the deal
Luke: we've got a break in August
Teni: that is super cool
Luke: I want you to visit my family with me
Teni: o shit

Teni: I'm broke, for starters
Luke: all expenses paid by yours truly
Teni: wouldn't it be weird for me to show up to your family's house uninvited??
Luke: no? I'm inviting you right now
Teni: but your family
Luke: they already said it's totally fine if I bring you
Teni: where would I be staying?
Luke: my room
Luke: I'll sleep on the couch in the living room
Teni: um no
Teni: if you're coming home from a tour you deserve to sleep in your own bed
Luke: it would be a privilege to give up my bed for you
Teni: ok well what if my dad doesn't let me go
Luke: he's free to come if he'd like
Teni: I start school at the end of August
Luke: the trip will not conflict with school
Luke: there is no reason to be afraid of meeting me
Teni: I'm not afraid
Luke: you're being difficult
Luke: I am begging you, just let me fly you to Australia for a week
Luke: I think it's only fair since we've been friends for so long
Teni: that's too much money for you to spend on me
Luke: you bought me a club penguin membership with your own money when we were kids okay
Luke: I am merely paying it back now

Luke: Teni Nicole you do not have a choice in the matter. I will fly to Canada, physically throw you over my shoulder, and walk onto the plane if I have to

Teni: yes!!!! of course I do
Teni: I guess I'm just nervous to see you ya know? it's so soon
Luke: it's been ten years
Luke: you can't be nervous. we got married when we were eight.
Teni: can I have some time to think about it
Luke: you've only got a few weeks
Luke: I can't stop thinking about all the time I'm wasting without you.
