Today, was the day I had signed up to go to Evelyn's modelling agency. She had to have this professional party which she needed someone to go with so she invited me. Although, we haven't really spoken much since the last time I saw her.
I picked out my favourite suit, for tonight's special event and I get a DM from Evelyn.
evelynronaldo: it's tonight!! I'm so excited!!
neymarjr: evelyn, go with a friend. I don't think I'll be able to make it.
evelynronaldo: what??
neymarjr: I'm busy, sorry!
evelynronaldo: ugh neymar..
evelynronaldo: it's okay i'll find someone else.
Me? Going to the event? Of course I was going! I just wanted to give Evelyn a surprise, when I arrive.

'Evelyn, I cannot believe you'd sneak behind me and meet that player!' Cristiano shouted as I sat at the breakfast table, however, he was standing rather than sitting.
'I didn't 'sneak' behind you! I just met him!' I argued back, placing my spoon on the table with attitude.
'I have so many questions right now! When you took that selfie, that was taken in this house. How on earth did that happen? How did you two know each other? You know what, I bet you didn't go to that game yesterday for me. I was a fool thinking that. You went for him, didn't you? I bet you even cheered for him.'
I was dead silent, no words came out, I couldn't even process my thoughts.
'Answer the goddamn questions, Evelyn!' he exclaimed, fed up of my silence.
'I-I don't know- I went for both of you but I cheered on for you.'
'Who are you taking to that event? Neymar? Because I swear if I see him with you-'
'No, because of you I have no one to take,' I scoffed, folding my arms.
'Take Marc Bartra,' he said, grabbing his jacket whilst leaving.
I watch Cris leave, as another Instagram DM pops up.
jamesrodriguez: my sister is going to the event today so she needs someone good to take, any ideas?
evelynronaldo: no, I'm sorry james. I'm going with marc.
jamesrodriguez: what about neymar?
evelynronaldo: cris got annoyed about him and besides, he told me he wasn't coming anyway.
jamesrodriguez: oh, guess she'll find someone there anyway.
evelynronaldo: isn't neymar friends with your sister?
jamesrodriguez: not friends, they're close though.
evelynronaldo: and you let them talk?
jamesrodriguez: of course :p
evelynronaldo: I wish my brother would let me do that.
jamesrodriguez: I'll talk to him about it, don't worry evie.
evelynronaldo: i do love you james, thank you!!
jamesrodriguez: anything for you little ronaldo!
evelynronaldo: agh! that nickname never gets old!

Hours later, I was all dressed up for the party, many models were going to be there, alongside their managers.
As I entered the function, I saw James Rodriquez's sister, Madison Rodriguez, standing there by her manager, looking stunning as always.
'Want me to take a candid of you, gorgeous?' I smiled, walking over to her and winking.
'Aha, Evelyn, you're a funny one! We can take a selfie though, my Instagram needs more of you in it,' Madison said as she held her phone so we could take a selfie.

Marc walked in and his eyes fell on me, he looked absolutely handsome in his suit.
'Ooh, a handsome date you have there,' Maddie says, nudging me and I end up blushing.
'Evie, babe you look stunning,' he says as we join our arms together.
I turn my head around as walk off together, to see Maddie standing by herself again. 'Sorry,' I mouthed at her but she shook her head and laughed. I'm guessing she was okay with it.
'Thanks Marc, you look handsome yourself,' I blushed.

I stood beside Marc as he introduced me to other people but he got bored of that so we ended up talking to each other.
'And remember that time when you got that pineapple and dropped it on my foot, and you thought I actually died when I pretended to die,' I reminded him, but we both ended up in tears because it was so funny thinking of it.
I was laughing so much, my stomach began to hurt so I turned away and saw Neymar standing in his suit, with a confused face.
I was going to go up there and explain but Marc took me by my arm, 'C'mon, I want you to meet someone,' he rushed me off.

I watched Marc grab Evelyn with one arm on her waist and the other by her arm. I knew boys died to be with her everyday but seeing her with another footballer made me feel something because what if she thought he was a better player than me?
'Neymar?'
I turn around to see Madison Rodriguez standing there, a huge smile on her face, she was happy to see me.
'Maddie?' I asked as I hugged her, 'I haven't seen you in a long time!'
I opened my eyes more, and saw Evelyn's eyes on me. I knew she got the wrong idea, but I definitely wasn't hugging Maddie in that way. She was just a friend and only then, it made me realise that the same thing must have happened with Marc and Evelyn.
