At the breakfast table, I sat, scrolling through my Instagram feed as I took a bite of my cereal.
Cristiano walked past me, not saying anything, probably still annoyed after what happened yesterday.
'I'm guessing you're still pissed?' I question him as I watch him grab some cereal.
'No, Evelyn, I'm not pissed, but will you please explain to me why you decided to follow him on Instagram?' He raised his voice, sternly as he lifted his phone to show my following list on Instagram.
Oh crap. Cris knows, doesn't matter how but he knows. I had to think quick.
'Seriously? You still check up on who I follow?' I said, quickly.
'No, I don't. It's not like all of your fans don't see who you follow, and his fans don't see who he follows? Of course, I bloody know. It's all over my Instagram feed,' Cristiano beamed at me and I just sat there in silence.
Wow, I didn't realise people would make such a deal?
'Alright. So what if I follow him? The model agencies are bringing Neymar in today for extra promos so that's why I asked about him,' I lied right to Cristiano's face.
'Oh.' was all he said.
I pretended to be raged and walked off in attitude but I really didn't feel like that. I felt guilty that I had lied. I followed Neymar just to talk to him not because he's going to be joining us today in the photoshoots.
What if Cris asks for photos?
In a hurry, whilst waiting for the taxi to come, I went on Instagram.
evelynronaldo: fans are going crazy about us following each other...
neymarjr: i know, people are making things up, don't worry about it baby

evelynronaldo: the thing is, cris found out & asked why i followed you

evelynronaldo: what?
neymar: you looked beautiful so I was going to comment but idk what stopped me
evelynronaldo: I dare you to :)
neymarjr: but you were worrying a second ago
evelynronaldo: who cares?
neymarjr: post another photo so I can admire your beauty and be the first comment

I turned off my phone after responding to his last DM and payed the taxi driver, as I got out of the car. I held my handbag on my arm, whilst sliding my phone into my pocket.
I didn't expect it but the paparazzi began to hover around me all over again, asking the crazy questions.
'Evelyn Ronaldo, is it true that you are a fan of Neymar Jr?'
'Are you friends with the famous Barca player?'
'No! Leave me alone, and go stalk my brother instead.' I bellowed, leaving the paps to stare at me in shock.
I quickly ran away from the scene and into the modelling agency and saw Marc standing there with flowers in his hands.
'Marc!' I shouted, throwing my arms around him.
Then there was the paparazzi, snapping a perfect photo of us together. Oh, no.
