We stood facing each other, Retrix's hands were still up with his fists clenched,
"Here I come Dark Syndicate", Retrix said in a confident tone,
I stood waiting, anticipating his next move, he raised his left fist in the air and shouted,
"Shattering of the Brawler Retrixer" he smashed the fist on the ground and shattered the ground around us, this caused me to lose my balance and before I knew it Retrix had begun to sprint towards me.
"Kendo Fists" he shouted, spinning his fists and hitting me a great distance away,
I had lost about 12 percent of my health as I landed, I immediately slammed my staff on the floor and chanted,
"Barrage of the Holocaust" two dark circles appeared beside Retrix and a spirit hit him up with its feet, as he stayed suspended in the air the other spirit jumped stabbing him consecutively with a sword and tossing him straight to the ground,
I rushed to my feet to face Retrix, he motioned towards me ignoring the two other spirits that attacked him,
He came in front of me and we started fighting hand to hand. he attempted to jab my face but I held his hand and spun my leg in an attempt to jab my face but gripped his hand and spun my leg in an attempt tackle him to the ground, he leaped over my leg and kicked my face while he was in the air,
as he landed as I was on the floor, I pushed my leg up, hitting his face with my two feet,
He rushed to his feet and shouted, "Paralyzing Fists', his fists began to glow blue and he ran towards me,
"Force of the Apparition" I chanted, Our two techniques collided and we flew backwards away from each other,
Both our health gauges had dropped to fifty percent and we stood to our feet slowly in pain,
"I'm done playing Retrix, I'm ending this now" I screamed,
"I told you Syndicate, I'm not losing this battle" he shouted back,
I rose my staff in the air and slammed it the hardest I ever had on the floor, I raised my other hand towards the sky and I began to cast a spell,
"Vertum Martik Ostra Parsim" I chanted,
Retrix punched his two fists together and his whole body began to glow blue, he opened his eyes wide and they were totally covered in blue light.
For a short while we stood gathering enough energy to pull off our attacks,
"Dusk of The Underworld Necromancer" I shouted, rushing towards Retrix,
"Genocide of The Brawler Retrixer" he screamed, rushing towards me with his left fist out,
As we collided I hit my staff on his fist and there as a huge white sphere of energy surrounding us, we stood in the middle of the sphere, slowly being afflicted by each of our attacks.
It was too bright for me to see anything clearly, as we stood in the middle my memories began to flash through my head and I recalled the first time Retrix and I fought

Khaos
"Retrix and I stood in an open field in a small town called Krager in the Khaos world of the beta version,
The hundred Khaos players that were logged in were allowed to partake in a few one round battles to test the battle system of the game,
"Are you ready?" Retrix asked,
"Sure, but I'll go easy on you since your new to virtual reality games" I replied,
Retrix was using the first Khaos avatar he ever made, The Taichi Retrixer, I was testing my Lightning Syndicate avatar,
"What's the point of your name being Retrixer, why not just leave it as Retrix" I shrugged,
"Yo dude, it's my name not yours so start the battle already" Retrix replied,
I threw three elliptical blades towards Retrix, he wasn't used to the movement system so he got struck down and lost 20 percent of his health,
"Are you sure you can do this?" I asked,
"Come on, I'm fine, let's continue" Retrix replied,
He rushed towards me, throwing multiple punches and kicks and eventually knocking me down to the floor,
Retrix's face beamed with excitement as he dealt a 15 percent damage on me,
"Electric shards" I shouted as I rushed of the floor,
The shards stunned Retrix and reduced his health to 47 percent,
"Lightning Spectacle" I shouted as a string 9f lightning appeared on my hand and slashed at Retrix until his health hit zero,
"Are you okay" I asked as I ran to help him where he laid,
"You're pretty good at this you know" Retrix said as he stood to his feet,
"Hey, you never told me your name" Retrix said,
"I don't give out my real life identity to anyone" I said,
"Come on dude, I told you mine name didn't I" Retrix pleaded,
I sighed and started to walk away back to the town
"I'm Ivan" I said still walking away from him,
"Come on, let's go battle other khaos players" I said from afar,
Retrix ran towards me and started to walk by my side, we both disappeared to the large number of people in the village

Khaos
I shut my eyes after recalling that moment, the sphere began to fade and the shock wave caused Retrix and I to fly violently away from each other,
We collided with the walls of the arena on opposite sides, we laid on the floor and I noticed we both had 5 percent health left,
I strained my eyes to get a closer look at Retrix and I saw his left arm had been blown off,
I examined myself and noticed I still had all my limbs but my staff was broken on the floor in front of me,
"This is way worst than the first fight" Retrix said from a distance,
"Yeah, that time at least you had a left arm" I groaned but managed to show a slight smile,
"Can you move?" He asked,
I tried to motion myself but to my surprise I couldn't even lift a finger,
Retrix smiled with a sinister look on his face,
"Good my stun was complete" he said,
Fear suddenly rushed through my whole body as Retrix slowly got to his feet, he stood and began to slowly walk towards my direction,
I struggled and did everything I could but I was still unable to move my body, I attempted to cast a spell but it was no use, my staff was broken,
As he drew closer to me I gave up any chance on winning and accepted my defeat,
He stood in front of me and looked at me,
"You're really strong Ivan" Retrix said,
My face changed in shock because of what he was saying,
"After that day we fought in the beta version, I always trained hard so I could get to your strength" he added,
'We both qualified for this tournament and all I hoped for was a chance to fight you again" he continued,
"Retrix what are you saying, just finish me off already" I pleaded,
"I needed to show you I got stronger and now I finally beat you" he said,
I closed my eyes waiting for his final blow,
"But Ivan you need to win this tournament, you have to show yourself as the strongest fighter, which I always believed you were" he stated,
I opened my eyes in shock "Retrix what are you saying, win already" I began to scream,
He clenched his right fist and rose his right arm up "jab of the Brawler Retrixer " he said as his fist began to glow blue,
"You have to win this for me Ivan" Retrix said as he moved his fist,
"Retrix stop, what are you-" before I could finish my sentence, Retrix punched a hole right through his chest and his health dropped to zero and he knelt on the floor,
"I won this battle" he said,
His body dropped flat beside me and I still sat stunned,
I couldn't believe what just happened and after a short time the Khaos Konstructor's voice started to echo through the arena,
"Dark Syndicate wins" he said,
I closed my eyes and Retrix disappeared beside me,
Before I could completely vanish I opened my eyes slightly to grab one last look of the arena,
Out of annoyance I let out my thoughts and said,
"Retrix you fool, you actually killed yourself"
