Your POV
'What if I don't pass? What if I have to go through a year of the academy and take this test again?' Thoughts ran through my head as I walked to the academy.
Then I remember the events from last night.
~Flashback~
"Hey, mom, what was dad like?" I questioned as she brushed my hair. She set the comb down, and turned so that she was facing me.
"Well, your father had your [H/C] hair that you got, and also those beautiful [E/C] eyes." I smile as she continues. "His smile could light up any room," and "He was also a great hero and ninja," she would say. "When you were born, he fought to protect the family." I took great interest in her words, as I listened closer. "I bet you will be a great ninja like him," was what I heard before I felt my eyelids droop, as I drifted off into slumber.
~Flashback End~
I then realized that I was at the academy. 'So soon?' I thought as I strolled into Iruka's classroom. I walked straight past Emo's desk, but not before mumbling something along the lines of 'Duck-Ass'.
I sure know how to annoy him, because his head snapped towards my retreating figure and his glare drilled through the back of my head.
But why do I care? That's right, I don't. I realize why these girls fall for him, he's attractive. I'll give him that. But his personality isn't worth it. Plus, he doesn't even care about anyone. Maybe take a hint, ladies? He doesn't like you. At all. To be honest, I maybe had a tiny crush on him when I first saw him. But don't get the wrong idea, I don't like him at all. He's too arrogant and emo.
I continued to stroll through the classroom before I took a seat next to Choji. (A/N: Shhhhhhh Choji doesn't get enough loveeee) "Hi there," I greeted.
"Oh, hi, you must be [Y/N]. Nice to meet you, I'm Choji." He gave me a smile which I returned.
"Well, Choji, do you have any idea what the exams are going to be about?" I asked. I really want to know so I can maybe learn the handsigns? Yeah, I just came here yesterday. All I learned about was chakra. No Justus. Except for maybe the transformation jutsu.
"I heard some rumors that it's going to be on the clone jutsu. Do you by any chance not know it?" Well, looks like someone guessed it.
"Yeah," I replied. "Could you teach me the handsigns?"
"Sure! You just make the handsigns like so..." Choji began to perform the clone jutsu as a replica of himself formed next to him. "See?" They both asked in unison.
I nodded and began to perform it myself. 'Focus chakra into your handsigns and make a clone...' I had soon completed the technique as a clone was nearby.
"Nice job! You should pass the test easily." He praised.
I thanked Choji and decided to roam the classroom a bit.
Choji's POV
'[Y/N],' I thought, 'she's really nice and a good friend. I'm glad I met her.' I smiled towards her retreating figure.
3rd Person POV
[Y/N] walked over to see Kiba and Shikamaru arguing over something. "Hiya! I'm [Y/N]. Nice to meet you!" She waved and gave them a smile. They quit their bickering and turned towards her.
"Hey, I'm Shikamaru. The idiot with the poor judgement is Kiba." The... Pineapple head? Explained.
"Hey!" Kiba began. "I'm Kiba, and this little guy over here is Akamaru." He gestured towards Akamaru as the puppy barked.
"Aww, he's so cute!" [Y/N] gushed as she picked up Akamaru. The dog barked happily. Kiba laughed.
Soon enough, their social time was cut short as the door opened. The class was silenced and everyone went to their original seats.
"Good morning, class, and welcome to the final exams," Iruka stated. "Today's exam will be on the clone jutsu. Please proceed to the testing room when your name is called." [Y/N] smiled, knowing she had this jutsu down. Naruto, however, was panicking in the corner. 'Poor Naruto,' she thought. 'He must be bad at that jutsu?'
Names were called and many students returned from 'the room of death' as [Y/N] liked to call it, with headbands. Then, her name was next on the list.
"[Y/N] Sekozawa. Please head to the testing room."
[Y/N]'s POV
i walked to the door and stopped. I took a deep breath before turning the doorknob and walking inside, greeted by both jonin and chuunin (A/N: I think I spelled it right?).
"Okay, [Y/N], all you need to do is make a clone." Mizuki directed. I slightly shivered. Something was odd about Mizuki. (A/N: HAHA autocorrect changed Mizuki into 'luxurious'. What the hell Mizuki did you pay the makers of autocorrect to do this?) He gave me the creeps.
(A/N: y'know what I mean?)
"Don't worry if you can't do it, you've only been in the academy for a short time, after all," Iruka assured.
I nodded and began making the handsigns. A clone appeared beside me.
Iruka smiled, but he then realizes that the clone has a shadow. His eyes widen.
"Great job, [Y/N], you may pick a headband." His warm smile returned on his face.
"Yeah!" I cheered and swiped a [blue/black/red] headband from the table. "Thanks, Iruka-Sensei!"
I smiled as I strolled out of the Room of Death.
'I'm finally a ninja!' I mentally cheered. 'And I was only in the academy for a a few days! How badass is that?!' I reached Choji (A/N: Autocorrect changed Choji into Choking, I'm concerned), and pointed to my headband on her [insert body part].
"Great job, [Y/N]! I knew you could do it!" Choji put his hand out for a high five in which I gladly accepted.
"I'm a ninja now!"

All the students had went outside to celebrate with their families. Only my uncle came because my mother was busy doing things at home and Kai was on a mission for the ANBU.
'That's right! Kai! I could make a nice dinner for tonight so he could be surprised when he gets back home. And when he sees I'm a ninja! He'll be double surprised!'
I smiled at my thoughts before my eyes drifted to see Naruto sitting on the swing, alone. 'He didn't pass, did he?' I turned towards my uncle.
"One moment," I said. "I'll be right back." He nodded and I walked over to Naruto.
"Hey," I greeted. "I'm [Y/N], but you already know that..." I laughed nervously. 'Nice way to lighten up the mood, [Y/N].'
Naruto smiled sadly. "I'm Naruto. Nice to meet you." He then looked down again.
I sighed. "I'm sure you'll be a ninja soon." And with that, I skipped back to my uncle.
Naruto's POV
'[Y/N], huh? She was the only person who didn't make fun of me or say mean things...' I thought. 'She's something different, huh?'
