"What do you mean 'he left'?!" Elliot exclaimed as I explained to the group why Stefan wouldn't be Joining us for the party. After our talk, Stefan left and I decided that maybe there was a chance that Seth had some type of underlying feelings. I was pretty sure that what I was feeling was a two way street.

"I mean 'he left', you cretin" I shrugged looking over at Seth who was flat out staring at me. He wasn't even making any move to conceal it. He was watching me with his soft green eyes, a question in them, and I yearned to answer it.

"We weren't working out" I amended with a sigh, "we were on two completely different wavelengths"

I looked over at Seth hoping to notice a change in his demeanor or even a sign that this news had registered but he just continued like I hadn't even spoken.

"What are you staring at?" I finally snapped.

"Either you don't own a mirror or your make out session with Stefan totally messed up your lipstick" Seth said with a chortle.

"Oh" I mumbled wiping at my face.

"This is why you use a lip stain, honey" Talia stage whispered.

"Yeah, Trish" Seth nodded, "maybe impromptu make out sessions just aren't your thing"

"Excuse me?" I asked confused by his statement.

"I mean, look at you Trish. Your not exactly the poster child for kissing or anything like that, your a smarticle. It was probably new to you or something" Seth concluded.

"New to me?" I raised an eyebrow, “you think kissing is new to me?"

"Not the concept. The action" Seth said simply. Talia let out a dry cough and I stood there feeling like an absolute idiot.

"Your like the cute little librarian who hushes people for talking or kicks people out for having water near the books" I didn't even falter at his use of 'cute', I was simply fuming at what he really thought of me. A librarian? Really?

"Thanks" I nodded softly, "I'm going to get ready" with that I made my way up the stairs.

"Wait what did I say?" Seth asked confused at my demeanour.

"Maybe it's because you kind of in an odd way told her that she wasn't kissing material?" Talia sighed.

"Huh?" I heard Seth ask , "wait no! That's not what I meant....oh God"

Jerk.

I got up to my room and slammed the door. I was totally kissing material! All of my boyfriends agreed....okay both of them. Even though I hadn't kissed that many guys, three to be exact, I knew that I was a pretty good at it. I apologize if I didn't go around kissing any and every guy in sight.

Seth wanted to see kissing material? Well that's what he was going to get. Yes, ladies and gentleman; I was busting out the crop top.

I yanked my closet open and rummaged around till I found one of three crop tops I owned, which was usually used for pairing under humongous cardigans and high waisted jeans. I paired it with a red body con skirt that hugged my curves and threw a loose white cardigan over top. It still showed skin but not enough to make me feel exposed or too against my morals of dress code. I found my floral doc martens and threw them on before admiring myself in my full length mirror. Very Brandy Melville.

I then turned to my hair and makeup. I put on a light coat of tinted moisturizer, concealer, mascara, and lined my lids with a soft black eyeliner before perfecting the look with a matte plum coloured lipstick. For my hair, I yanked it out of its ponytail holder and ran my straightener threw it, making it sleek and shiny. Once I was done I ran through a cloud of my favourite body spray and smiled inwardly. I never had excuses for actually going full out with my outfits but today I did and boy was I excited.

"Trish! Are you done yet?!" Elliot hollered from down the stairs.

"Coming!" I grumbled grabbing my small purse full of gum, my phone, sanitizer, and a travel size body spray.

"Ready" I said running down the stairs. Three pairs of eyes stared at me, shocked.

"Who are you?" Talia asked.

"Where are the chinos?" Elliot muttered eyes wide.

"I'm Trish. And they are in my closet" I said answering each question easily.

"Dude, you have a belly button!" Talia exclaimed, "you look hot"

"Yeah, you actually look kind of ok" Elliot shrugged. Coming from Elliot, that meant I was next level beautiful. I turned to Seth and saw his dark eyes trail up the length of me.

"We all set?" He asked the group, his eyes still focused on me.

"Yeah bro" Elliot sang calling shotgun. We all headed for the door, me and Seth behind the rest.

"What I said before...."

"I know, you suck with delivery" I nodded, "I'm not hurt. Don't worry"

"I just don't want you changing because of me" Seth said cockily.

"Changing?" I asked incredulous, "Let's get one thing clear, Seth. I don't change for anybody, I dress the way I dress because I feel like it. The chinos? I felt like it. The pleated skirts? I feel like it. The crop top? I'm feeling it. The things you say will never hold any weight factor in regards to the way I dress or regard myself. I'm a confident woman who has the right to dress whichever way she feels, whenever she feels. So don't stand there and tell me you don't want me changing because of you. Your the last thing on my mind"

Talia and Elliot turned to stare at me.

"That a girl!" Talia grinned. I smiled despite myself and rolled my eyes at Seth, who had a weird look in his face.

"C'mon Tals, I'm ready to get my party on" I hollered grabbing onto Talia. She laughed and looked at me.

"Don't you ever say that again"

.....,.,.

"K get out" Elliot mumbled as Seth pulled the car to a stop in front of a...wait why were we at....

"a club?!?" I choked out.

"Yeah, didn't Seth tell you?" Talia wondered. Seth turned to me from the front seat and grinned slightly.

"OH EM GEE, it must've slipped my mind"

"I’ve never been to one of these before. What if they deny my entry or i..." I cut myself off mulling over the possible problems that could arise when i noticed the look of satisfaction on Seth's face. He looked....satisfied, almost happy. For whatever reason, I wasn’t sure what,  but he didn’t want me going in.

"Maybe you should just you know~"

"I'm going in" I said In a deep voice, unbuckling my seat belt and jumping out of the car.

"I love this new Trish!" Talia exclaimed.

"There is no new Trish. I still think your dress looks more like a belt" I rolled my eyes and began walking to the club.

"ID" the burly security guard barked as we walked up.

"We're here for Lacey's bash" Elliot said easily.

"No ID, no bash" the guard reiterated.

"C'mon bro" Seth sighed.

"Nope" the guard shrugged and looked at a couple of girls sauntering up. Their dresses, if possible, were shorter than Talias.

"Hey" one of them giggled.

"C'mon in ladies" almost instantly the velvet rope was removed and the girls were admitted.

"Should I try?" Talia asked us and I shook my head.

"Why not?" Talia pouted.

"Because....it's like prostituting, or something" I said .

Talia rolled her eyes and pushed past me to the guard.

"Hey I'm here for ~"

"C'mon in" the guard didn't even let Talia finish her sentence as he lifted the rope.

"They're with me" she giggled pointing at each of us. The guard begrudgingly nodded us in and I stared in shock.

"You....you prostituted, or something" I exclaimed as we entered the club.

First of, it was gigantic and dark...very dark. Save for the flashing lights and spotlight on the dance floor I could hardly see Talia, who was right next to me. Off to the side was a dimly lit lounge area where a couple sat....oh my God, that PDA looked illegal. In the centre of the huge club was the dance floor where people stood writhing their bodies in tons of awkward angles and sliding their hands across the air. It looked slightly demonic.

"THIS IS AWESOME!" Elliot yelled over the booming techno music. Like a child at Disney land, he skipped to the dance floor where he instantly began dancing with a short blonde.

"Well hello there" Seth muttered as a tall brunette flounced by.

"Get your perv on" I wriggled my eyebrows sarcastically.

"I just might" Seth looked over at me and went the way the brunette had. I instantly felt crushed. Ofcourse I would be standing here actually looking HOT and Seth would walk away. What kind of world would it be if things actually went my way?

"I hate this place" I sighed .

"Because Seth isn't next to you?" I had almost forgotten Talia was still next to me .

"Shut up" I mumbled making my way to the bar.

"Trish what are you doing" I heard Talia yell after me .

"Crossing off another item" I muttered planting my butt on a stool, "what's good round here?"

The bartender, a stocky brunette guy who I suspected had a whole bottle of gel in his hair, turned to me with a grin. His dark eyes looked me over and he laughed lightly, "I'm going to pretend I don't notice that your only, like, fifteen"

"Sixteen. Almost seventeen"I said lazily brushing my stupid hair out of my face.

"Why don't you tell me what's wrong and I'll recommend a little something" he ammended.

"I have no love life is what's wrong" I didn't even take in the fact that I was telling an absolute stranger my problems, "I can't even seem to land a guy who used to totally be into me and now I like a guy who could NEVER and I repeat NEVER like me"

"Why do you think he could never like you?"

"Cuz...he's hot"

"Maybe you don't own a mirror but your hot. Very" he smiled at me.

"Well he doesn't think so. He seemingly jumps on any and every girl he sees but then he just passes me by" I shook my head, "he didn't even ogle me when I was wearing my pjs!"

"What a jerk" the bartender gasped, "maybe we should start you off with something cute."

I put my hands under my chin and watched the rest of the club bump with life. I could see Elliot doing the moonwalk as a huge group of people chanted around him, and I could see Talia laughing with a cute guy off to the side but Seth...well he was unaccounted for. Words couldn't even describe the way my heart broke into two.

"Here you go...." The bartender placed a dark pink drink in front of me.

"Trish" I smiled, "thank you...."

"Chris" he laughed lightly and turned to another customer.

I looked at the drink, in its tall glass, and took a tentative sip. It tasted like lime and cranberry and oh my God! Vodka? I downed the drink and waited for the buzz I always read about in books.

"Ohhhhhhh" I giggled slightly, "this is nice"

Four drinks and a handful of cashews later I was on the dance floor bringing. 'Sexy back'

"I'm bringing sexy back" I sang off tune.

I didn't even know who I was dancing with, I just knew I was dancing.

"Nice moves" a hand touched my waist. I looked up to find a Greek Adonis standing in front of me. He was absolutely beautiful with his dark hair and chocolate brown eyes. He had smooth olive skin and the whitest teeth to have ever blessed this earth.

"You think so?" I purred.

"Absolutely” He laughed.

“I’ve been told that I’m ‘So you think you can dance’ material” I said doing a series of stupid moves.

“Have you?” He grinned moving a little closer.

“Absolutely. Don’t worry, though. I won’t go into my ‘dance vault’ and embarrass you” I winked.

“Even if you don’t, I’m just naturally a bad dancer”

I took a couple steps back and looked at him. He was doing that head bop thing that guys who thought they were too cool to dance, did. Even though he was incredibly off beat, I couldn’t help but smile at how adorable he was for even trying.

“Whats wrong?” he asked confused when I moved back in.

“I was just assessing if you really are a bad dancer…you are” Drunk me slurred. The guy looked at me and smiled.

“I should probably be offended”

“You should but you’re not”

“And how is that?” He inquired.

“Because you like me” I said simply.

“I do?” He asked me.

“If the way your hands are all over me is any indication, then yes. Yes you do”

“I’ve never met a girl who would say that just like that” He seemed blown away but I didn’t get why, “Wanna go somewhere and talk?”

His hands slid under my cardigan and he stroked my bare waist. If sober Trish was around, she would’ve kick flipped the guy but nope, My brain was on autopilot.

“Like where?” I asked stupidly.

“We could go and talk outside” He brought his lip down to my ear.

I giggled at the way his breath tickled my ear and put a hand on his chest.

“We could just talk in here”

“But it’s so loud. I wanna be able to hear each and everything you say” He smiled kindly.

“You do?”

“Ofcourse” He said.

I looked him over from his soft brown hair and ran my eyes down his soccer player build. He looked like a really nice guy and was funny, why not?

“Okay” I grinned letting him take my hand and lead me out the club.

“So what do you want to talk about?” I asked once were past the bouncer.

“Why don’t we go talk in my car? It’s a little chilly out here” He said leading me to the parking lot.

“No it isn’t” I said stupidly putting a finger to test the wind, “It’s not cold at all”

He stopped and turned to look at me and I practically melted.

“Are you scared?” He grinned slightly.

“Of you?” I laughed, “You must be crazy”

“Then let’s go. Whats the big deal?”

“Well your car is probably pretty far and my friends will probably be looking for me…”

“Then they shouldn’t have left a beauty like you all by herself, that’s not cool” He said genuinely.

I thought back to Seth and his stupid Malibu Barbie and inwardly fumed. How could he just walk away like that? What was I, chopped liver?

“Your right” I nodded letting him reclasp his hand in mine.

He slowed his walking when we reached a black~

“You drive a camaro?” I asked in disbelief.

“It was a gift” He smiled.

“Oh my Gosh, she’s beautiful” I said touching the car.

“Not as beautiful as you” He whispered into my ear, “Wanna see the upholstery?”

“Do I ever!” I exclaimed. I wasn’t a car geek, nor did a care about them. I just had a steady love for Camaro’s of all colors and this was my first time actually seeing one in the flesh.

He opened the car door and gestured at the radio, “Wanna hear this baby blow?”

I nodded in excitement as he turned on the ignition and the car came to life. A slow Chris Brown song blasted from the speakers and I couldn’t help but shudder in delight.

“Go on, get in” He smiled at me.

I beamed at him and got into the driver’s side as he stood at the door.

“It’s beautiful” I breathed. I was about to say something else when all of a sudden his lips were crashing into mine.

“What are you doing?” I gasped moving back till my back was painfully crushed against the gear selector

“Stop being such a tease” He grumbled grabbing hold of my waist and kissing my neck.

“Get off of me you psycho!” I yelled pushing at his chest.

“You weren’t complaining in the club” He said against my neck. Suddenly I was revolted by the hot air his breath made on me.

He pushed me into the passenger seat before jumping into the car and closing the door behind him. All I could hear was Chris Brown’s voice and the bass.

“I’m sorry if I led you on, that wasn’t my intention” I said sobering up as his hand gently caressed my face.

“I’m not going to hurt you” he tskd continuing his kisses up my jawline.

“I’m not….I don’t want to…”

“Shut up for God sakes” He rolled his eyes and brought his lips down on mine once again. I tried to scream but his lips were literally crushing mine. His hand found the sleeve of my cardigan and he sloppily tried to get it off.

“Stupid shirt” He grumbled flinging it into the backseat. My body was made of jello at that moment and I felt my heart constrict.

“Get off me, NOW!” I yelled as tears pooled in my eyes. He looked at me then and his eyes widened.

“Are you crying?”

“Please, just let me go”

“Just give me ten minutes then you can go” He said this almost as if he had just announced that he was going to hand me a million dollars, “Tons of girls would kill to be in the position you’re in right now”

“I don’t want to kiss you” I spat.

“We don’t have to kiss” He smiled raising both his eyebrows. His finger found the waistband of my skirt and that was when I realized the mess I had gotten myself into. I closed my eyes and was about to send a prayer out when I heard an angry pound on the glass, “just ignore it”

The pounding didn’t stop and he sighed in frustration. He unlocked the door and peered out. I saw a dark figure looming over the car.

“Trish?”

I looked up, frozen.  I angled my body so I was eye to eye with the ground and tried to hide my face. I couldn’t stop what came out of my mouth next.

“OH MY GOD!!” the boy jumped out of the car, bumping into the figure outside.

“I’m…I’m” I mumbled as a strong pair of arms hauled me out of the car. My feet touched the ground and I grabbed the car for support. I felt my stomach whirl again and I dropped to the ground to try and stop it.

“You idiot! You just vomit in my dad’s Car! He’s going to kill me you stupid~”

I heard a sickly crunch and then a thud.

I looked up to find the guy on the ground, blood gushing from his nose.

“C’mon Trish” The strong arms came around my back and the back of my knees. Before I knew it, I was being cradled.

I looked up into the greenest eyes had ever seen and instantly wanted to cry.

“Seth” I murmured

...............................................................................................................................................

Hey guys!

First off, i wanna say a HUGE thank you to everyone and anyone who has read this and liked it, it means the world to me.

This Chapter got a little heated because i wanted to touch on a topic here and that's the topic of over drinking. Tbh i don't care what anyone does in their spare time or how they do it but i just think that as people we all need to use our common sense. Dont get me wrong, im not perfect, It's possible for absoluetly anyone to have a few drinks and let that get the better of them but it happens all to often where you hear of cases about drunken rape and slipping things into peoples drinks. Especially for all the girls out there, not everyone will have their own real life Seth who can come and save them from the big bad wolf. Things could have gotten alot worse for Trish. In reality, we need to stay smart and realize that just becasue someone LOOKS like a nice person, doesn't mean that they are. We also need to realize that just becasue we think 'we can handle it' doesn't mean we can. i guess what i'm truly trying to say here is that crazy drinking doesn't always equal good times and crazy memories. Sometimes it can turn  into a horrible nightmare and i just want people to realize that. I'm not standing against all you die hard partyers, go ahead do your thing. Just.....

KNOW YOUR LIMIT.
