Alex didn't think what he was doing was wrong. No one in town thought it was wrong, in fact they'd often compliment his work with gifts and lots of smiles. The flowers gave life to the small town in Maryland, and planting them gave Alex a job that he enjoyed so much. Stores would even pay him to plant his flowers and lighten up the scenery. Roses, daisies, lilies, any sort of flowers were lining all the streets all because of him. He took pride in his work, because well, the flowers were his family.
Jack however, didn't like the flowers. He never did. He hated the smell, color, and every detail about the stupid plants. He couldn't think of a point for the stupid things, besides just getting in the way. He'd considered moving out of this damned town if his tattoo parlor wasn't inconveniently placed there. All because of this mysterious person planting flowers.
But little did he know, making a simple change in routes to work would be one of the most crucial changes of his entire life.
