I smiled and got up from my stool making my way up the stairs.
"Bring your ass Amir."
"What ya need me fa?"

I spoke once he rested comfortably against the door sill.
"What kind of dress?"
"One ta fit over the lil babeh."
"The lil babeh neck ass. Amir I'm serious."
"What's the problem Rose? Ya been talkin slick shit since ya got done eatin. Is dere a issue ma?"
"I need a nap. I just ate and you're trying to keep me up." I whined with a pout
"Go ta sleep."
"What about tonight?"
"Don't complain about being tired but also be wantin ta go to the lil shit tonight. Eitha ya tired or ya not."

"Alright. This?" I held up a dress
"Perfect. Ya got a couple hours so ya can sleep la'babeh. Ima leave ya alone."

"Lay with me."

I rose from the bed and drug myself to the bathroom and in the shower.
Once out the shower I did my makeup and slid on my dress with the sandals. I let my hair down and brushed through it a few times awaiting Amir.
"Fuck Ro. I didn't think tha dress would fit like that."
"Like what?"
"Ion know. Too damn good that's fa damn sho."
