I slowly open my eyes to see my room full of sunshine. Some weight is on my shoulders as if I am forgetting something. I decide to lean over to my night stand and check my phone. I happen to notice that the time is 11:24am. It's Saturday. Tutoring. SHOOT. I'M TUTORING TYLER AT NOON. Turning on my Spotify teen wolf playlist to the song 'Who are you really' by Mikky Ekko(So... I had happened to start Teen Wolf from the start...not because Tyler or anything). I jump up and brush my teeth and look at myself in the mirror, eek... I then sit down at my vanity to search through my small collection of makeup for something that could possibly fix my face.

naked nude pallet: check
mascara: ch...where is it...no no no i CAN NOT BE EYELID BALD TODAY
I finally find some mascara and see that it is 11:42am. Crap. I'm only wearing a T shirt. I run to my dresser and fling every drawer open, pulling out every article of clothing on looking for the perfect thing to wear that Tyler will li...that will be most comfortable. I'm not trying to impress...I just like being comfortable. Yes Ash. Good. I ended up dressing myself in some leggings, a grey T, a blush cardigan, and a scarf. But sadly I had to wear my glasses since we will be reading and I'm terribly far sighted. I look ugly in them but this is only a tutor date...session. Not a date.
Once I'm dressed I look at the time again to see 11:57. MY HAIR. I put it in a bun last night and now it is everywhere, crazy, messy, and gross! So I quickly brush it out and put half of it back up. Since I didn't have any time for a shower I sprayed some dry shampoo on and called it that. Turning out better than I thought.
That's when I heard the door knock. The brick inside my stomach dropped and I flew down the stairs to see Liam reaching for the knob. I raced to his side and looked into his soul and said "I need you to go downstairs. I have a very important dat-...er-meeting today and I need you to stay far away. Dad is out of town until tomorrow. You can play Xbox as much as you want just please stay away."
"Geez Ashley...oh well, can't complain with that."
As soon as he was down the stairs I took one deep breath in and opened the door to see Tyler on my doorstep, looking up as if he wasn't expecting anyone to answer. He was wearing black jeans and a maroon V-neck. Wow. We both stared at each other through silence for what felt like an eternity. "Hi." I managed to get out. As if he had just been snapped out of a hypnotism he looked into my eyes and blushed replying with a "Hey." He walked past me into my house as I peeked to my driveway to see an old black BMW convertible. If I were to have any car it would be that. And of course he has it which makes him that much more irresistible.
"If you like cars so much, where's yours?" he asked smiling at my interested eyes. I shut the door and turned to him.
"Don't really have enough money for one, and I like boarding anyways."
"Well if you ever need a ride just let me know, okay?"he smiled.
"Alright" I blushed. "Um so I basically just woke up so I need to get myself some breakfast. Would you like any?"
"Uhh I've already had lunch..." he laughed playfully.
"Right", my face went bright red. I walked over to the kitchen and told him he was open to sit at the table and get his materials out.
Tyler POV
She turned for the kitchen as I sat down. Looking down at my notebooks and binders my eyes fled to Ash's back. Tyler stop. She is your only friend. Friend right? I want more though..but I can't screw up the only thing I have going for me here. She walked back and set a bowl of frosted flakes. Before I knew it "Theyyyy'rreee GRRREAT!" slipped out of my mouth. Idiot, idiot, idiot. She probably thinks I'm so weird. Pull it together Posey. I looked up to see her face lit up as she held in her laughs.
"They really are, thanks Tyler the tiger!"
"Sorry, it's habit"
"So what are you having trouble with?" as she gestured to my papers. Her eyes were so glistened and dazing. How am I going to do this.
"Um well I don't get this rule and I don't have the right calculator and I can't find it any where."
"Oh let me go get mine, I'm pretty sure it's the same one for regular calc. But I'm not positive because I'm in AP"
"Wow you wear glasses and you're in AP Calc. What a geek!" she stared down at her half empty cereal and bit her lip blinking sad eyes. She looked up to me as I smiled she realised I was joking.
"Wow, I hate you" she said with a high pitched voice and a slap on my shoulder. I sarcastically acted hurt before she told me she was going to get the calculator. I continued to watch her walk upstairs in her tight leggin---no. Smart, beautiful, and she likes my car. What a score.
A younger looking boy randomly appeared out of nowhere and walked to the fridge. He asked "Hey who are you?"
"I'm Tyler...Ash is tutoring me. Are you Liam?"
"Yeah, so is this the first date?"
"Oh noo haha it's just-"
"The second?"
"No I'm new and I need her to catch me up in school."
"Are you sure it's not a date?"
"Um..I mean-"
"Mhmm" He said as he threw his yogurt lid away
Then I heard a floorboard creak and Ash appeared at the bottom of the stairs. In a deep, serious tone she told Liam, "Go downstairs. Right. Now. You little twerp."
Ash POV
How dare Liam talk to Tyler. I heard it all and I am so humiliated. I don't "date"! I turn to Tyler and apologize.
"It's fine, he seems like a cool dude" Tyler said sarcastically.
"Oh yeah totally" I said with a straight face. "So anyways, this is the calculator and the battery is-"
"Sorry to interrupt but where are your parents? Do you live with just your brother?"
"No I'm only 17, my mom died a while ago and my dad basically lives at work."
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have said anything."
"No, no it's totally fine. But it's 1, don't you wanna learn all this stuff?"
"Honestly.." he looked up and gave me a wide grin with his puppy dog eyes, "I'd rather learn more about you rather than math." My heart sunk, my face went hot, and my stomach went to my throat. Is this him flirting? Is he just really nice? Oh crap.
"I think math is a little more important" I giggled trying to hide my red face. I started to enter some equations in my calculator. Just as I pushed my glasses up, he lightly touched my hand saying, "Knowing more about you is more valuable to me." I gave him a crooked smile.
"Well thanks but I think you'd be disappointed."
"Try me."
"Try this first" I said as I pointed at a problem.
We continued talking about our lives and a little bit of math until it was 6:30pm. As I was laughing at something he had said he told me he had a question. "Finally, I feel like you haven't been understanding all of my blabber about math. It's just that if you ignore the textbook method here and do it like this..." All of a sudden he grabbed me by the neck and kissed me. No way.
Tyler POV
I can't believe I'm kissing her. I just couldn't help sitting and talking with her another minute without making a move to let her know how I feel. My hand pulled her to me as fast as I could make it. At first she jolted but she eased into it. Continued to move my hand to the back of her neck and threw her hair, scrunching her hair in a fist. It was so soft, just like her lips. She tasted like berries and her lips fit perfectly too mine. My hands went down to her waist to pull her in closer. She leaned in and put her small hands up to my jaws. I felt warm everywhere. I didn't want to scare her too much so I decided to pull back. She automatically blushed and looked down. I can't tell if she was embarrassed or happy or what but her cheeks were full and bright. "I'm sorry" I said which made her look up into my eyes.
"For what?"
"I interrupted you...I was going to ask if I could kiss you but I got impatient." She looked back up at me and smiled. I kissed her again and quickly pulled back again.
"What is it?" she asked, worried.
"I just think that your s...your cereal is soggy." Her face went straight and she picked up the bowl of puffy flakes. I started laughing followed by her sarcastic "Ha ha ha's".
"Well what did you think I was gonna say?" As she put her dishes away I started packing my bag. She came back to me and I took an extra step so that we were closer.
"I hope I helped" she looked up at me.
"I did and I wanna thank you in some way."
"Oh no really it's-"
"Will you go to dinner with me?"
"Um is this a..?..."
"This can just be two friends getting dinner, or anything you want."
She nodded so I grinned at her and opened the door. "Well good because I don't know any restaurants around here."
"Oh yeah I bet that's why. Just give me one second." She ran up stairs and came back down in a few seconds coming back with a leather purse. "LIAM I'M GOING TO GRAB DINNER, BYE!" She looked at me and continued past me giving me an "Alright, let's go!"
We both hopped in my car and her eyes widened, panning the leather seats and then onto me. She ran her fingers through her hair and put on the 80s rock station. I couldn't stop admiring the way she moved and how she did everything so flawlessly.
"So where are we off to Ash?" She buckled up and smiled at me tapping her foot to the beat of 'Anyway You Want It' by Journey.
"Hmmm"
