"Unexpected Visitor"
• Aira's pov •
I woke up at the sound of my alarm. My head still feel a little dizzy and my nose won't stop running thanks to cold morning sea breeze yesterday. I went downstairs to see my mother smiling as she saw me. Oh right, forgot to tell you mom met Hyungwon and she's head over heels for him, literally.
"Good morning, beautiful", she was humming with eyes fixated on the frying pan
"Mom, stop being too happy. It's getting weird", I sat down
"How can I not be happy? my future son-in-law is just too handsome! Oh he's really tall too, my daughter has a great taste!", she cheered, if only she knew this was a mission for my freedom...
"He took me out at midnight and practically brought me back in early morning, you should be mad", I crossed my arms
"I was mad until he talked me out of it, I mean who can resist such face?", she handed me a plate of pancakes
"Whatever. Where's dad and Mingyu?", I asked while stuffing the pancakes inside my mouth
"Oh your dad got urgent call from his boss and Mingyu is fast asleep", Mom muttered and the bell rang, we both looked at each other wondering who it might be.
I walked to the main door and opened it. I was surprised to see who it is but a bubbly feeling also emerged.
"Lee Minhyuk!", I smiled from ear to ear as he smiled hugely as well
"Yah! Why didn't you tell me you're sick?", he hit my head lightly and chanted 'aigoo'
"Dear, who is it?", my mom yelled from the kitchen
"Come on in, Minhyuk", I noticed he's carrying two big plastic bags as we walked inside
"What's that?", I curiously looked at the bags
"This is for you. You said you're not feeling well so I bought you porridges, snacks, medicine and movies to watch!", he lifted the plastic bags and grinned,

"Oh annyeonghaseyo (hello)", Minhyuk bowed at my mother as she looked at him in awe
"Oh ehm morning dear", My mom was flustered and she looked at me, hoping I would care to explain
"Ah yes! Mom this is Minhyuk and Minhyuk this is mom", They smiled at each other and mom asked Minhyuk to sit also and handed him a plate of pancakes
"Friend of Aira at school?", I swear her eyes were twinkling
"Yes Mrs. Baek and these pancakes are delicious!", he stuffed his mouth and we laughed, "But maybe in time, more than friends", he winked at me and I admit I blushed hard
Mom laughed and the next thing you know they were already immersed in a conversation, leaving me behind.
"Aira dear, could you help me wash the dishes? and Minhyuk you can clean the table", she instructed and Minhyuk answer with an okay
"What is it you wanted to say mom?", I rolled my eyes as I washed the dishes
"Oh my godness Aira, how come you didn't tell me about Minhyuk?", I just shrugged as she hit my shoulder
"Ow! What was that for?", I rubbed my arm in pain
"I love Minhyuk, he's such a sweetheart, really cute and handsome too, also the way he stole glances at you oh my my heart", she fanned herself
"Stop being delusional, besides Minhyuk and I are just good friends", I muttered in low voice
"Even your blind grandma can tell there's something between you two", she teased me
"Mrs. Baek! the table is clean!", Minhyuk cheered
Mom nodded to Minhyuk and muttered a thank you. She then whispered at me, "Who's your real boyfriend? I'm fine with either of them", she giggled and left the room
• Minhyuk's pov •
When I heard Aira couldn't go out today because she's not feeling well, I rushed immediately to buy all the things a sick person needed. I was glad that Aira's mom is really kind and pretty, no wonder her daughter followed her.
Mrs. Baek suddenly said she has urgent matter but Aira didn't believe it one bit.
"I'll be back later honey, have fun!", her sweet voice echoed around the house
"Okay, so what should we do today?", she hummed
"How are you feeling?", I placed my hand on her forehead and thankfully it's fine, "how about headache? runny nose?", she cut me off before I could finish as she shook her head and told me she's fine.
"So since you're here", she began to spoke, "how about movies?"
We ended up having a movie marathon. Perfect.

In the middle of a movie, my phone buzzed, it's from the Monsta X group chat. They said that Hyungwon got sick and we should pay him a visit.
What a weird coincidence
I just shrugged and told them I couldn't make it. Wonho then asked me it's rarely of me to bailed from group meeting but I just said it's too important to be left.
I glance at Aira whose eyes are glued to the movie as she held my hand tighter, afraid that the killer in the movie popped up any second.
I turned my phone off and continued watching the film with her.
• Hyungwon's pov •
Whose idea was it to date while the temperature is freezing? Oh wait, it's me.
I've been sneezing whole morning because of the flu. Not that bad but Aira hasn't reply my texts or calls, does she even know how to use a phone? I sighed as I heard the door opened revealing Monsta X.
"Hey guys", I calmly greeted and did a head count out of habit
Wait, it's supposed to be six
"Where's Minhyuk?", I muttered and others just looked at each other
"He said he has something really important to do", Wonho said as he sat down next to my bed
"So much for a friend", I mumbled low enough so no one can hear
"Chae how did you manage to get sick?", Shownu asked
"Oh, I took Aira on a date to the ocean yesterday", the others looked at me in shock and I mouthed a 'what'
"You never took any girl on a date", Jooheon gasped, "It's usually the other way around, you even got sickness from it. You're not mad?", he added
I shook my head and smiled instead. The others think Aira might've hit my balls too hard but I don't mind until I.M realized something
"Hyung, if you got sick, how about Aira?", he implied and I just remembered. Maybe that's why she didn't answer my texts and calls.
"You're right, I should visit her later in the afternoon", I informed the guys but I saw Kihyun tensed up
"Yah Chae Hyungwon, you should be taking care of yourself! I'm sure Aira is fine!", he nervously laughed, what's wrong with him?
"Are you hiding something from me?", I deadpanned him as he shrugged
"No, it's just that your sickness might get worse and if Aira's fine, she can get contaminated", Kihyun added. He has a point though, I don't want her getting sick as well
"Fine, I'll ask her on Monday", I plainly stated as Kihyun suddenly mumbled a 'thank god' loud enough. He definitely knew something and I will find out.
