like water thrown to wash a wall
and it hits the ground dirtier,
filthier
than they imagined it to be
but
some people
shove their thoughts and feelings
from their brains
with help from their bodies
in self-abuse
that proves them filthier,
dirtier
than anyone thought them to be.
