I sat in the restroom and sighed. I hated being sick, my stomach was literally doing back flips from being nauseous just being in here. I never knew how much hospitals creep me the fuck out.
Charisma literally brang me here because I was too damn weak to even talk or walk it was really killing me.
“Alia you okay?” Charisma said knocking on the door and I wiped my mouth with the tissue and fixed myself up and walked out the restroom and put her arm around me and helped me on the examination table.
She sighed and looked at me, “What’s going on, you been depressed for the past days you been here now a single smile,” she said and I looked at her as if I was a zombie.
There was nothing good going on at the moment so why would I be happy? Shit was literally slipping off the ceiling.
“Ms.Shane I’m sorry for the wait but we were running a few test and just as we thought you are almost a month pregnant,” he said and I shook my head and stared at him.
“What?” my voice broke and he nodded his head flipping through the paperwork.
I put my head down and cried silently and Charisma came over to console me and kissed me on my temple and hugged me tighter.
“It’s going to be okay,” she said into my ear and I nodded my head.
“I’m going to have a sonographer come in and we’ll check on the baby’s health okay?” he said and walked out the door and I looked straight at Charisma and cried.
“What am I going to do?” I sobbed in between words and she smiled and held me close.
“You be the best mother that you can be, don’t look at being a mother as a bad thing but make it a blessing, god gave you a gift to cherish and take care of. I felt the same way with Demetri and Cordell fear. But another part of me was happy that I have these beautiful blessings and you should too,” she explained.
I smiled and couldn’t help but yo be happy that I could have a baby, and then the thought of Cory came around. What was I going to tell him?
“What about Cory, he’s the father, I have to tell him,” I said panicking wondering what Cory would say.
“Calm down, he will know but right now it’s about you and the baby okay?” she assured and I nodded my head.
“Okay Ms.Shane, please lay down while the sonographer gets these images in,” the doctor came in and smiled with some man behind him and I couldn’t believe who I saw.
“Leo?” I questioned and he just stared at me in disbelief.
He cleared his throat, “Please ay down and we could get this started,” he said.
For my first sonogram it was a little awkward to me. But I wasn’t going to let it phase me. I did tell Leo that Cory was my heart and the kiss we shared was in the moment. Right now I had to focus on the two things in my life.
Me and Charisma smiled at the screen from ear to eat more than excited.
I was having a baby.
