Juliana went to sleep right after school and didn't wake up till late in the night. She stretched her arms and legs and got up. This can be my time to do some exercises.

Stretching again once she got up she focused on the light posed up head and willed it to turn on. Several minutes went by and she sighed admitting defeat.

Man if I can't even do something as simple as this how can I do something major or small when I need it. Not to mention I didn't have the best school day. Well at least today's Friday. Do you think I'll see Lucas? No!!! What brought that up? I don't know!!! Don't even go there remember the whole 'cut ties' thing we have established. I know but for that one moment it was...nice?

Trying hard to stop the blush that was already forming she turned her attention back to the light and tried again. She closed her eyes imagining the light getting brighter and in no time when she opened her eyes it did.

She knew something was wrong though when the light kept burning brighter and soon the light post exploded. She closed her eyes as she flinched as if she could feel it but when she opened her eyes again the light was still there.

Holding her gasp in she tried doing something else. Never have I been able to do that, not without anger consuming me. Okay okay let's focus, just focus.

She closed her eyes and imagined the light coming to her as she did the wind started picking up speed. The light was getting closer and closer until it finally reached her, just three feet away. She tried bringing it closer with her wind but it wasn't working.

Slowly she took a step forward and watched it take a step back. She couldn't believe what was happening something she created was moving away from her. Slowing her fast beating heart she moved forward again this time it didn't move. She moved forward till she was finally inches from it but she stopped moving. She waited for it to come to her.

Slowly it moved forward and when her hand touched it she felt the warmth of it and saw it turn into a figure. Closing her eyes momentary from the bright light she opened them to a dark red owl with hints of orange. She stood there and couldn't believe her eyes.

Okay did I just bring an animal to life? No I couldn't have. Maybe if I look away it will go away and I'll wake up to find this has all been a dream. Yeah.... No it's still there okay just say something.

"Hi... I umm Juliana it's nice...to meet you," she said slowly and watched as the owl flew to her shoulder rubbing his head on Juliana's neck. Trying to hold in her grin she stroke the owl's feathers and found them incredibly soft. The owl let out a chirp which sounded like a sigh till he got off her shoulder looked at her one more time then disappeared into a red cloud of smoke.

She stared where the owl was last seen then sat down again trying to comprehend all that just happened. Wow what a day.

Why can't I focus?

Lucas stared at the candle in the center of the table trying everything he could to lit it but it wasn't having it today. With a sigh he went over to his couch and stared at the candle before closing his eyes.

Why did that happen? Normally I can get it but I guess today's not my day. First I have a ear full with Victoria and her arm that never left mine, Julie won't even talk to me, and I yelled at the pack. Did I miss anything? The only highlight of my day was seeing Julie after I quickly put her stuff in her locker and closed it so no one could get it. But then she pushed me away. Why? Oh my goodness I must be so tired that I called Juliana Julie again by accident. Though the name does suit her.

Letting his thoughts drift he stared at the candle again and saw it already lit. Okay when did I do that? But it didn't stop it kept going till the candle literally exploded into dust leaving a ball of fire that kept burning.

Amazed at what he was seeing he willed it to come closer but it didn't work at first. So he took one step forward and saw it take a step back. Okay so this is really happening right or am I losing it?

Taking one step forward again this time it didn't move, he moved till he was inches from it then stopped. The burning light came closer to him then when he reached out to touch it a burn red light filled the room.

He closed his eyes from the burning light but when he opened them there was no longer a ball of fire but a beautiful silver owl with hits of a blueish gray color.

The owl flew to his shoulder and rubbed her head on his neck. Letting out a little chuckle he stroke her feathers and heard her sigh. She flew to the center of the room gave him a thoughtful look then disappeared in a cloud of blue smoke.

Lucas stared at where the owl used to be with only one thing going through his mind. I didn't just imagine that right?

Juliana walked into the school and didn't stop till she reached her next class. It's Friday, it's finally Friday. Thank goodness!!!

She rounded the corner to her next class when she saw it. Smoke was coming out of the class. Running to it she saw that no one was there.

People were walking toward her as if they didn't notice it yet or cared to breathe through their nose to smell it.

"There's a Fire!!!! You have to get out!!!" The people looked up at her, finally noticing the fire and they ran in the opposite direction. People were running around till there wasn't anyone in this area.

The door broke off and the fire started building. She ran near it to get to the fire alarm and just in time pulled it, but nothing happened. You got to be kidding me!?! Is this a joke?! Now is not the time for a fire alarm to not work!!!!!!!

She winced in pain as some of the ambers hit the side of her hand, leaving a burning mark. Running in the opposite direction she went around screaming that there was a fire. People were running out screaming to whoever could hear.

Juliana focused and teleported herself to another part of the school and found another fire that started. What? How did this happen!? Is someone trying to burn down the school!?!

She was about to turn around when she noticed something. Floods of water were going into the fire but it didn't stop it, it was making the fire bigger, spreading. It was a grease fire.

I need to get everyone out. I can sense them and see them, there are still a lot of people here. Okay Juliana focus save these people.

Closing her eyes she saw where the people were and tried it out. "You need to get out!! There is a grease fire! RUN!!" Moving her hands she spread the message around till there was no one left inside the buliding.

Closing her eyes she choked on the smoke surrounding her just trying to feel her way through. You need to get out of here. Using her wind she cleared the air till she no longer had the strength to do it. Not only was she tired with very little sleep she also drain a lot of her powers at it was taking it's toll.

The sides of her arms and legs were burned and splintered making it harder to walk or moved. Teleporting herself to go to the gym but ended up in a class she didn't know where. The door broke down the fire sweeping in so not only was it coming closer to her she was trapped with no where to go.

Too tired to keep her eyes open now. The last thing she saw was a red fuzzy thing she couldn't make out but heard it make a weird echoing noise that seemed to pierce the air.

"Fire!!!! Fire!!" Lucas heard as he came into the school late.

"Lucas! Lucas!!!" Lucas turned to look at his pack running at him. "Dude it turns out there's a grease fire sweeping throughout the whole school. This school is pretty stable put the fire is coming from every angle," Mike was talking so fast Lucas had to ask him to slow down his speaking to process everything.

"So tell me what exactly happened?" He asked them and saw his pack give a knowing look before they nodded. "So we entered the school to people screaming there was a fire. The weird part was we couldn't smell the fire and the smoke wasn't very visible, it was the weirdest thing we can't even explain it. But then we heard this voice saying how we needed to run, there was a grease fire. The weirder part was we didn't see who said it, and other people heard the voice to and yet we didn't know who said it but at the time we were like we don't care get out if here."

"Hearing the voice it was like it made the smoke visible and we were able to smell it and we found it was right next to us. It was so close a few more steps it would have burned us, there was no explaining it and on top of that the fire alarm wasn't working. So we went around to see if anyone was still here but we found everyone had heard that hidden message even if they were on the opposite of campus it was unbelievable. So we took that time to go out and we were the last ones out."

Lucas took in everything they were saying and knew there was something, something not right. Okay I'll go, and stop the fire and if I come across anyone then I'll help them. Yeah.

The pack looked at him and knew what he was thinking. "It might be risky Lucas, the fire fighters are on there way don't you think it would be weird if there was a fire but no fire before they came?" Right then the fire truck siren filled the air but Lucas wasn't paying attention to it.

Instead he saw it, he saw his owl. Her silver blue feathers were noticeable that he wondered if his pack could see it. Then something clicked inside of him. Julie. She's still in there.

Lucas looked around and noticed the fire fighters already out of there trucks going toward the fire. He ran to them ignoring his packs pleads to stay. "Wait you have to stop someone's still in there!" Lucas pleaded to them and received glares from the fire fighters.

"Look kid I don't think this is the time to joke around. There is no one in there so step out of the way so we can clear the fire," one of the fire fighters said harshly that it took everything in Lucas to not punch his stupid face. Then he heard it. His owl was making an echoing noise and then a very faint owl noise came to him but it wasn't his.

His ran to his owl which plunged into a building window at the side of school no one could see. "Lucas wait!" He saw his loyal friends running toward him worried painted on their faces. "I need to go and I need you to distract everyone so they don't notice I'm gone. Can you do that?" He asked them and after sometime they nod their head.

"Okay depending on how this goes I might just go home. And I'm mean really home," he told them slowly and watched their eyes widen. "You go get her then and don't come back unless you have her," John said with a sad smile while everyone nodded their head in agreement.

Lucas was a little taken back. They knew. "Of course we knew, well we figured it out just now but still, go get your girl." With that Lucas heard his owl then followed in.

Every fire he encountered he put out but he knew there was still more. Following his owl he saw his owl stop and go through the glass of a classroom door avoiding the fire that broke in.

He cleared the fire but what he saw next was surprising. His owl was no longer there but a very big owl with both silver, blue, orange and red feathers stood there shielding her. Then it split into two owls, one his and another he didn't know.

But then he saw her. He ran to her going down on his knees when he saw all her burns. "Julie," he said disappointed in himself. He hit his fist against the tile floor causing a dent and pieces of tile to fly around. "Julie, I'm sorry."

Picking her up in his arms he got up and watched as his owl disappeared but the second one remained a second longer, staring at him till he disappeared into a cloud of red smoke.

Following the way he came in, he ran off school campus and ran home. I wonder what their reaction will be. Looking down he stopped running as Julie nestled closer to him, he sighed and started running again. Julie I'm sorry but don't worry we are going home. They will be able to help you.
