Adrian's POV
I blend in with the dark shadows of a building as I wait for her to drive by.
Find her, they said. Find her.
I don't have to wait long before her Toyota Camry pulls into my view and her eyes lock with mine. I know she can see the glowing yellow of my eyes because hers are as wide as they can physically be.
Time slows down, just for me.
I access the fusiform gyrus in the temporal lobe of her brain, where face and body recognition take place. This will make her remember my eyes.
Once I'm done, I look away from her just long enough to tap out of her mind and then I watch her drive a little bit more down the road. She pulls over and I know she probably is feeling a little ill.
Brayden will know- soon- that I am here.
