I wake up to a dull rainy day. so this is what Londoners say when they are always like well its London you never know what will happen to the weather here. i look at the time on my phone it 6:30 am so i get up and find my black skinny jeans with a petal pink blazer and matching sleeveless shirt, white pumps my pink Micheal Kors tote handbag with a gold cuff and pearl earnings. i have a quick shower and decide to curl my hair so i use my hair curling barrel and half an hour later i'm ready to go i grab my phone and finish my muesli and head out i order my Starbucks and head to my office. When i get there i see Ana waiting for me "Freya Mr Cross said to tell you to go see him as soon as you get here, he said its important." "OK let me put my bag away and grab some files i have to give Ethan and then i will go speak to him." "okay when you return we can look over the accounts" i leave the room and head to the 40th floor which is only a floor above mine. i knock on Seb's door "come in" i walk in to see he is talking to someone. the man who he is talking to has with light brown eyes hes wearing a sharp black suit with a black tie and is nicely shaped. he looks like he may be in his mid 40s to late 40s. "Ah Freya i would like you to meet Finn Jason Sawyer, he will be your new bodyguard. He will assist you in anything and he will drive you around." okay so this is the bodyguard but i still don't think that its necessary to have one."hi nice to meet you" "hello ma'am what is the first thing you need me to do ?" "first of all i don't want you calling me ma'am it makes me feel old call me Freya and at the moment there's nothing to do i'm just going to talk to Seb and then i have to give Ethan some files and then i'm in my office for the rest of the day ." "okay ma- Freya i will wait outside your office until you are done." "no you don't have to do that,go do something else while i'm working and then when i'm finished i will call you . how does that sound" " sure Freya" Finn walks out of the room. i turn to Seb and he folds me into a bear hug as he nuzzles in my hair." So? what do you think of Finn?" i turn to look at him" he seems really nice, a bit formal but do i really need to have a body guard i mean like i still don't think i need one." he looks at me concerned" Freya we talked about this already please do it for me it will make me feel better." " ugh fine" he starts to grin i smack his chest playfully. "what was that for" he says as if he is offended. "that was because if i stay here any longer then i know that i won't be able to leave from here." his smile grows larger"so then don't leave, i can think of a couple of things to keep us occupied" " no i need to work and so do you Mr CEO". "okay fine see you later " " but not too soon or people will start to suspect things and we don't want that do we after all you are known as one of the playboys here" he starts to blush "yeah well people change he kisses me quickly and i leave and head towards Ethan's office i knock on the door and walk in he's working on something his laptop as his assistant Alice is scribbling ferociously in her notebook as he talks. "hey Ethan i had a look at these files and we need to make sure that we are clear to go through with the policies that have recently been set and approved by the government." " your right thanks, i need you to look at the liquidity of these assets and then i need you to check to see if there is any thing wrong or suspicious in the accounts currently." "sure thing i will get to it straight away see you later Ethan,Alice" "bye Ma'am" " please call me Freya" "okay bye Freya" i go back to my office and see that Ana is typing something up on her laptop. i walk over to my desk and fire up my computer and reply to my emails i check the companies assets and make a table and have them from the most liquid to the least liquid and then Ana and i go through the accounts file then we realize that its lunch so i give Ana my card and tell her pop into a deli and get me a chicken Caesar salad with extra dressing and some peach ice-tea and for her to get something for herself as well . it takes her 15 minutes there and back because its only across the street and we have our lunches she got herself a Greek salad and a soda. after finish eating we get back to work Ana had to leave early because she had some business to care of outside of work. when i finish looking for anything weird or out of order in the accounts i see that everything is perfect i go to Ethan's office and tell him about it. i dial Finn's Number "hello Finn i am going to leave my office in about 10 minutes." "okay Freya i will be there " i quickly walk into Seb's office "what happened to not letting people getting suspicious " he says to me as he smiles " it still applies and its 6:30 pm by the way so everyone is gone except from us the executives and Ethan" " i have been so busy i haven't even had a chance to speak to Ethan today " "aww life of the boss" i say as he hugs me tightly then pulls m on to his lap "what are you doing tonight?" he asks." nothing but i'm going to go for a run, then have dinner and go to bed probably " "oh OK call me later" " i will now if you let me go then someone is waiting for me " he has a confused look on his face " who is it i will end them if they try to do something to you " i start to laugh " don't worry he isn't my type and he is my bodyguard you idiot you assigned him to me remember" i say as he tries to hide his face from embarrassment and i get up and blow him a kiss i go back to my office grab my blazer bag and shut my computer and i ride the private elevator down to the car park and i see that Finn is waiting there "hello Freya , which one is yours" he says " its the white Audi r8 on the left of the range rover" he smiles and says "you have a good taste in car i have one just like that but in silver." i smile at him and give him the keys to the car and he opens the passenger side door and i sit down in as he walks around to the drivers side and places the key in the ignition and he starts the car. i try to start a conversation with him."so...long have you worked for Sebastian" "since he was a teenager , hes a great kid he can be a bit of a pain in the backside but he is worth it , he just takes time to trust and can you blame him."i'm taken back by his words."why what happened." " well Freya that is not for me to say that's for him to tell you when he is ready." what could it possibly be after that we made small talk i found out that he has a wife called Aliyah and he has a daughter and son their names are Grace and Scott who he loves dearly grace it 8 years old and Scott is 5 . it takes us about 40 minutes to get home because there was traffic on the bridge. when i get home i find out that Seb bought the apartment next door for Finn and his family he truly is something. i say good bye to Finn as he drops me to my door handing me the car keys and then he says " i have had security cameras put outside you door just in case he shows up and i'm only next door." i smile " thank you very much " and then he leaves. i go straight to my room and change into my running wear and go for a quick run as i'm too tired when i get bath i run a bath and realize i forgot to call Seb so i do that he answers after the second ring " hey what took you so long" he says " sorry babe i forgot " " no its fine " after 15 minutes of talking to him i realize " shit shit shit " " whats wrong Freya " Seb says through the phone sounding worried " i left the bath running and i forgot to turn it off got to go bye " i throw my phone on the bed and run to the bathroom and shut the tap thankfully it hasn't over flown. I strip and jump into the bath tub I lie in there and relax as the warm water helps heal the aching muscles. Half an hour later I dry my self of and put on my lace underwear and a vest and my lilac pyjama shorts and walk in the living room to see Zara cooking something. "What ya got there?" I ask "I'm nearly finished making beef lasagne with garlic bread sweet corn and green beans." "That sounds delicious". I set the table for us as she takes the lasagne out of the oven. I pass her the plates so she can put the food on it.
After we finish eating I decide to do some work until I finally fall asleep.
Two months later
It's been about three months since I moved here and life could not be any better I have the perfect job that suits me,the perfect apartment and the perfect boyfriend. I wake up feeling warm. My eyes flutter awake . I feel a strong arm around me I open my eyes to see Seb's arm wrapped around me with his head on my chest again. I check the time to see it's 7:15am so I try to move when Seb starts to stir I quickly make a run to the bathroom and have a quick shower and get dressed , i decide to wear a pair of my high wasted white skinny jeans and my pink crop top and black Adidas stan smiths . I go to Seb's kitchen and make some breakfast I make pancakes,eggs,bacon and sausages for Seb and I make apricot and mascarpone pancakes for myself and have some fruit on the side. I feel arms wrap around me from behind. I turn around to see Seb smiling as he yawns and I watch his perfectly toned abs flex. I start to feel hot as my face reddens and I know he caught me ogling his body. how does he have the same effect on me ? " after breakfast we are going to my parents Freya my sisters back and my parents have decided to put together a family and close friends get together since we are always busy and my mother will not take no for an answer". did he really ask me to go see his parents." Freya are you listening?" I tune my focus towards Seb " yeah sorry, what shall I wear?" he gives me a genuine smile " wear something casual but at the same time elegant and formal" ok I can do that. I run upstairs to the walk in closet and decide to wear a petal pink chiffon material dress that is just above my knees, I put on a leather braided cream colour bracelet and I tie my hair up into a sleek high ponytail. I also keep my make up to a minimal. I walk out to see Seb's perfect mouth drop open. he's wearing a beige suit with a white shirt and a matching tie, but its crooked so I walk over to him to fix it. " there now your perfect" he wraps his arms around me and leaves his hand placed lower on my back. " how is it you manage to look even more beautiful everyday " I start laughing. I grab my clutch and phone and wait for Seb to finish his call " Yes mum im leaving now and I want you to meet someone special, uh huh yeah okay bye" we leave the penthouse and get into his black sleek Bentley SUV. The drive is about half an hour and we arrive a posh suburban area. " everything is going to be fine Freya they will love you, your very easy to love." " im not sure what that means but I will take that as a complement" he started to blush and left the car and came around to my side to open the door I step out of the car and place my hand in his as we walk towards probably the most fantastic mansion I have ever seen. " Wow this is where you grew up! this is amazing" " I knew you would like it, now lets go meet my family "all of a sudden I am really nervous oh god! what will his family think of me. will I be good enough for them. stop thinking too much Freya! before Seb can even knock on the door a women an her mid fifties opens the door she has light blonde hair with grey eyes. now i see where Seb got his eyes from and the dimples. " you my dear must be Freya, the women who has captured my son's heart, you know he was a cruel ruthless business man before he met you who had no life." i feel like digging a hole for myself and burying myself in it again because i'm blushing so much. " Lilith stop embarrassing her you poor thing come in, my name is Maxamillian " i see from the corner of my eye, Seb giving me a sympathetic i'm sorry abouth my parents look. i walk in and give Lilith a hug "it's nice to meet you ma'am and you to Sir" i say shaking his hand." call me maa or Lily" " and call me paa or Max" "ok Lily and Max". "Mother if you don't mind i will like to show Freya around the house." " yes of course dear." i smile at them and then Seb i put my tiny hand in his hand and walk with him. " hey i'm so sorry about my parents i don't know what happened to them, i think its because i have never brought a girlfriend over". " no it fine they seem wonderful" he gives me one of his genuine smiles. "come on I want to show you something." I follow him up the stairs and we walk down a long corridor full of paintings probably very expensive but their is one painting that catches my eye and it of a joint family portrait of the Cross family and the Geoffrey's I see three other children apart from Ethan and Sebastian. "Seb who are these three in the picture." "oh the boy with brown hair and blue eyes is Christian, Ethan's older brother he runs his own firm and is happily married, the baby in with green eyes is Katherine she's Ethan's baby sister and the other baby in my mother's arms is Ava my baby sister, you will get to meet them all today". we carried on walking until he stopped outside a room. we waited outside the room for a couple of moments until Seb had finished his internal battle or whatever that was, he slowly opened the door to the room, I stepped n to see it. the wall of the room where covered in blue except for one which was covered with different styles of art and dark oak floors a king size bed in the middle of the room, there where lots of posters around the room, two massive piles of paperwork , a couch with a 55inch flat screen, a bookcase and two other doors connecting to the room which I assumed was the closet ad the bathroom . " welcome to my room" " you have an amazing room but why is there two massive pile of paperwork over their ? and second how comes that wall is covered with different types of art? ". " to answer your question firstly those piles over their are consisted of all the homework I have ever gotten at university and to answer your second question that wall over their is my art wall its where I paint to calm down." " that's really cool I like what you've done with it and also what university did you go to cause I went to Harvard and Yale and I didn't get that much work" well I went to Oxford and Columbia" "oh ok glad I didn't go there. But why did you still keep it ?" " well its a reminder of all the hard work I did to be where I am now, plus it makes me feel smart " " you are such a dork" I say laughing " I am not " he says sarcastically . " yes you are , your my dork" I say and wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him as our tongues entwine. I feel him smile on my lips as he teases them ." if we don't stop now then I will not be in control of what I do net." "we better get going before your parents start wondering."
