A/N: I'm so lucky, my schedule is packed only on Mondays! I have time to write and think of ideas. Well, the land of the waves arc is starting. Most likely gonna write about 4 chapters, including this one, or less.

Naruto's P.O.V
I took the lead. Duckass, Cherry, and old man Tazuna followed. And Kakashi took up the rear.
We proceeded down the path.
Sakura asked Tazuna, "Does the Land of the waves have their own ninja village?"
She chastises me for not knowing anything, and yet she doesn't even know that?
"No." Old man Tazuna responds.
"Why not?"
Are f**king kidding me? She said that she read everything in the book the academy gave us............wait, no, let me rephrase that. She BRAGGED that she MEMORIZED the entire book. Oh. my. God! Has she ever looked the freaking goddamn map that's at the back of that book?!
(As you can see here, Naruto had a hard morning. Starting with Tora the Cat and apparently, Sakura's *ahem* stupidity is giving him a headache. So there you have it.
Just a note, when Naruto has a headache or is in a bad mood, he'll start cussing like crazy. Just keep that in mind for future reference.

Kakashi's voice broke through my rant. He was explaining that the Land of the Waves village was to small to occupy a ninja village. Sakura made an 'oh' face and didn't say anything else, thankfully.
We continued on and about 15 paces later, we passed a puddle. Both Kakashi and I noticed the 'inconspicuous' puddle.
I twitched my finger, making sure Kakashi saw the signal. It meant, "guard up."
We both kept and eye on the puddle using our peripheral vision. As soon as Kakashi had passed the puddle, and taken about 10 steps, two ninja slipped out. They wrapped a chain around Kakashi, ripping him to shreds.
Sakura screamed and both Sasuke and Tazuna turned around in surprise.
'Quick thinking Kakashi!' I thought.
I glanced at the two assailants, chain claws, masks, the scratched out mist symbol on their hitai-ates.
My eyes widened slightly, 'The Demon Brothers, missing-nin of Kiri! What are they doing here?'
"One down." Gozu said
"Three more to go." finished Meizu
"Die, gaki!" they yelled in unison
They ran at me, I was waiting for them to get close enough so I could break their stupid chain. But suddenly, Sasuke started to attack.
He took out a shuriken and a kunai. He threw the shuriken that caught the chain and pinned it to a tree. Then he threw the kunai to keep it in place. He landed on the Brothers' clawed arms, grabbed one in each hand and kicked them both with one foot.
'Oho. That was good.'
The Demon Brothers released their chain. Gozu ran at Tazuna and Sakura, while Meizu ran at me. Sasuke moved in to protect the two. Good thing Gozu was blocking their view of me. I could have some fun.
Meizu lashed out his clawed hand. I ducked under it and aimed a precise jab at his elbow, making it go limb. At the same it I punched his gut, causing him to cough slightly.
Suddenly he moved his left arm to punch me. I evaded it by pushing off of his incoming arm a landing on his shoulders. I wrapped my legs around his neck and started leaning back.
"Oi, wait, wait, stop!" Meizu started to panic.
'You idiot.'
I grinned and leaned back even further, causing him to crash to the ground.
I looked over at the other three and breathed a sigh of relief. Kakashi had got to Gozu. Thank goodness. I hope they hadn't seen me.
I decided to lay down and act like i hadn't done anything. It will most likely failed, but oh well.
The group looked over at me and Kakashi, luckily caught on to my act and said, "Sorry Naruto, you almost got hurt. I didn't think you wouldn't be able to move."
Good, he made it look like he knocked the idiot unconscious.
" Good job Sasuke." Kakashi said, walking past, picking up Meizu, and tying the brothers to a tree. (couldn't think of what to do with them, cuz in the anime we did see them get turned in to the village.)
"Now Tazuna, care to explain why two chunnin-ranked rouge ninja are after you?" Kakashi questioned.
Tazuna sighed, "A few years ago a man named Gato had set his sights on our village. He cut off all our connections with the main land. So we're building a bridge to save our village."
We all stared at him, thinking.
"Well, who wants to continue the mission?" Kakashi turned to his team.
Naruto gave him a "are you stupid?" look. "Let's finish it."
Sakura nodded her head.
Sasuke "hned" in agreement
They headed off again and Sasuke turned to me, saying, "What's wrong, scaredy cat?"
I glared at him. 'Scaredy cat?! You f**king brat, when I'm done with this stupid mission, I'm breaking you in half.'
We kept going down the path, and crossed a lake. We passed the bridge, it was HUGE.
"That is HUGE!" I yelled, I realized I had said that out loud. 'f**k!'
"Shhhhhhh." Sakura said, "Be quiet you idiot. We don't want to be caught."
" Sorry." I said. 'Annoying.'
"Tch." Sasuke clicked his tongue.
'Shut the f**k up you a**hole'
Kakashi sighed quietly.
We crossed to the other side without any interruptions and continued walking.
We reached a small lake when I suddenly felt an unknown presence.
I threw a kunai at the suspicious person. I went to look and saw a scared white rabbit with a kunai right above his head.
I was about to dismiss it when I realized, 'White fur? How, it's summer. Oh no!'
All of a sudden, Kakashi yelled "Duck!"
"That's just Sasuke you idiot!" I said turning around.
A few seconds after the words left my mouth, a cleaver came swinging down and missed my head by inches.
Just to clarify. I DID NOT duck, the blade passed OVER my head. Good thing I'm so short.
(I'm gonna break the anime 4th wall for a second, because I feel like it.)
Edward (from FMAB) appears out of nowhere and starts screaming at Naruto.
"How can you be proud that you short?!"
"Because if I wasn't, that, *points at the sword*, would have chopped off my head."
"But still, how?! I though we were buddies!"
"No.....I get taller when I'm 16, you get taller when your 19."
Ed starts to rage
*Forms random portal and shoves Ed through*
"Get back to your own universe before you start wrecking mine, okay? Bye!"
(Okay, now that I had my bit of fun, back to the story!)
I turned my head to see a man standing on the sword. He wore bandages around his face, camo printed arm/leg warmers, and a crossed out Kiri hitai-ate.
"Oho, so you're still standing up?" The man said looking at me.
I suddenly recognized who was standing above me.
"Zabuza." I growled. "The Demon of the Mist."
But I was drowned out by Kakashi's yell.
"Zabuza, the Demon of the Mist!"
"Kakashi Hatake, the Copy Cat Ninja. I am honored that you know who I am." Zabuza responded in a sneer.
"Naruto, help Sasuke and Sakura protect Tazuna-san." Kakashi ordered me as he pulled up his hitai-ate, revealing his Sharingan.
I quickly ran over and get into position in front of Tazuna. I held up my kunai while slightly facing Zabuza.
Zabuza looks down on us. "You think you three brats can go against me?"
He pull his cleaver out of the tree and tapped it rhythmically on his back.
"Fine then, let's see how you brats do."
He crouched and shunshined to the center of our formation.
'You idiot, you just messed up.........big time!'
