Falling apart

Bobby came stumbling into their house in Hyannis Port, obviously drunk. Jackie looked up from the book she was reading, to see Marilyn Monroe under his arm. "I can't believe this man," Jackie exclaimed in her head. She ran out of their house, over to Rose and Joe's house, where Jack was.
"Oh Jack," she sobbed, "Bobby has been cheating on me, and he's drunk." Jack hugged her. "What can I do? He cheats, drinks, never pays any attention to me, and when I say something, he acts like I'm the one who's wrong for saying something." Jack, who was barely awake when Jackie came in, was now wide awake and giving all of his attention to her. "I'm so sorry about Bobby, Jackie. He's really always been like that. I can talk to him." Jackie walked over to Jack and hugged him. They ended up spending the night together because Jackie was too afraid to go back to her house.
