Kaneki POV
It was silent as Arima took his sword in hand and stared me down. I felt paralyzed, like I was infused in ice. My hands began to sweat as my nervousness grew.
But this was perfect.
If I can hold him off as the others escape, wouldn't that be better? Riki is fighting off Furuta, but the others with Ayato should be able to find her. And based on what I could see from this hall I was searching, she had been moved.
All of the rooms were empty, and the hallway was silent except for the man in front of me, his foot steps echoing off the metal walls. I let my kagune come loose, and I stand ready.
This man is undefeated. He has never been bested. But, if Levin was able to scratch him, even a little... then I have a chance. While Levin has a lot of fire power, I have more experience.
Arima suddenly stopped, then with one step forward, he rushed at me. So he was going on the attack first? I jump over him, trying to slash at him from above as I travel over, but he blocks with his sword at his back, as if he knew what I was going to do.
As I land he turns and slashed my shoulder, I quickly scramble away. But Arima is smart enough not to let his prey go. He kept coming at me, slashing my Kagune apart as I kept growing more.
I roll to my side and try a jab at his hip, but he slashes my Kagune aside and keeps pressing towards me. This whole time, as he comes closer, he still has that blank look on his face.
Slashing from both sides, he ducks under them and stabs my thigh. Shuffling my scream, I try to get away once more, to gain ground, but her quickly slashed, cutting one of my legs clean off.
I'm about to scream, but next he kicks my gut, making me topple over and roll across the ground. I grasp for my leg, but my hand is sliced off also as I reach for it.
Getting up on one arm and one leg, I get to my knees, but all I'm met with, is a assault of slices, all over my body. My hips, head, eyes, nose, mouth, shoulders, arm, leg, foot, chest, back. All of them were sliced in a mere two seconds of swift movement, so fast one would think not to be possible by even a ghoul.
I couldn't feel my body, but I still tried to grab for my leg with my other free hand. Behind me, Arima speaks.
"645 times." He said, his voice lingering in my head. "645 times I could've killed you."
This moment, I can see my earpiece that had fallen out on the floor beside me. I can hear the slight voice coming from it, was it Ayato?
"We've found her! We're heading up top, anyone who can hear this, escape!" I heard, just as Arima looked down at it with a bored expression.
The hallway fight had continued to an open field in Cochlea, full of flowers. Pillars held up the whole large room, and the feeling of it made me feel melancholic for some reason or another.
I crawl away slowly, Arima watched me with that blank expression of his. But why am I struggling? I should just let him end it. Let him kill me.
They found her. I was able to...

With my hand I reach for my ear piece, and put it in my ear. I need to make sure, before I die, that their all safe. But to my surprise, I hear a different voice than I expected.
"Kaneki?! Can you hear me?! Get up here now! We're not leaving without you, you here me! Your coming home!" Said the voice. It sounded scared, yet beautiful.
Touka.
At this moment I didn't ask in my head why she was there, I only froze on spot. The ear piece was only static after that, so I dropped it. Touka is up there, helping.
Arima looked down at me from a bit aways. "Are you going to get up?" He asked.
"No. Their all safe. I don't need to get up." I mumbled.
There was a brief silence, but then Arima spoke again, his words striking home. "Once I kill you, I will go after them, and kill them. You know for a fact I can get up top within a minute or two." He said.
I opened my eyes again and stared at the ceiling. He'll... Kill them?
I remember the last thing she said on the ear phone.
"Your coming home!"
Finding that my lips twisted a bit, I get up. Why am I getting up? Isn't it futile? I shouldn't even try, right? Then why am I-?
"I love you."
Yeah, the face I was making, was a smirk. "That's not fair." I mumbled, getting up on my regenerated legs.
I push out more kagune and lunge at Arima."Your a cruel one, Touka." I murmured.
Ayato POV
I was in the top floor of the Ghoul prison, I had made it there after getting Kurona. She was now on my back, still in the Ghoul prison clothes. She was asleep, it seemed some doctors were planning to move her away while we were searching the lower floors.
Luckily I was still up here, so I caught them and took her back. Now all was had to do is get out of the courtyard and over the wall. But easier said than done.
With CCG now alert, the whole complex was surrounded. A huge amount of CCG trucks aligned outside and soldiers everywhere, surrounding where me and the others were.
"Looks like I got here in bad timing after all." Touka said beside me, placing down her ear piece. It had surprised me when she showed up with Yomo. She said she'd give me an ear full of lecture when we got back, but at this rate...
"It seems like our side always has the worst of luck." I mumbled, setting Kurona down against the wall. She was really out cold. I don't know what they gave her but it was potent.
Everyone looked nervous, glancing through the windows and such at the soldiers. Were they going to breach into here? Probably not, they'd get massacred that way. Their going to put us on siege.
"Why are we even up here, shouldn't we be heading to the garbage compactor?" Said one guy. "That was the plan."
I grumble. "Yeah, but some people need to stay up here and make sure they don't come in while the others escape... any volunteers?" I said. The group stirred, none of them looked up to it.
But suddenly Yomo stood.
"I will." He said shortly.
Touka looked like she was about to refuse. "Dont worry, I'll stay with him." I said to her. Thought this either made her worries worse or less I wasn't sure, but she caved after another five said they'd also.
"Just, after a few minutes you'd better head down running." She said, pointing at me as she picked up Kurona and ran down the stairs with the rest.
Me and the others stood there in silence, I then cleared my throat. "Alright, let's do this."

This little questionnaire is kind of like a "pass along" deal, after I'm done answering my 13 questions, then I tag a few people and ask them questions.

Q - what is your top favorite anime/manga?
A - listen carefully. I only have two favorites that come to mind that I idolize. Akame ga Kill, and Tokyo Ghoul. I wrote fanfics on them, so I'm obviously a big fan of these two series. Also, God Eater... though the anime was iffy.

Q - why did you start writing fanfics?
A - Cause I wanted to express my imagination. I've always had a knack for creating stories in my head when I space out, so I thought I might as well express them through fanfics. And it's fun to mess with people's feelings >:)

Q - what's your favorite animal and why?
A - Cat, because I can be lazy with them.

Q - what color do you hope to dye your hair?
A - never thought about that. I like having natural hair. But if someone gave me enough money, I'd dye it pink, just to be funny.

Q - who's your waifu/husbando?
A - hard one. Very hard one. I can think of so many. But I have to settle with Red Saber, regular Saber is nice also. (From Fate series).

A - Ghost Oracle Drive and/or Starset. I also like a large assortment of Jazz.

A - mostly manga, but I do both. I watch anime when I've read the manga (most of the time). But I watch most of them in Subbed. Some shows like FMA: brotherhood, are good to watch in dub, but most aren't good dubbed.

A - . . . 5 feet, 8 inches . . .

Q - cat or dog? What breed?
A - I have both, but me and my cat are best buds, so cat. I'm too lazy to look up what breed he is, but he's grey.

Q - if you allowed to go to one anime/manga/shows universe, which one? What will you do when you get there?
A - ah, this question is famous. But I'd pick "To Love Ru" because of all the... plot... a lot, of plot. When I got there I'd botch slap Rito and help him with his harem. I'm not one to steal girls away from someone.

A - Don't have any that come to mind.
