It has been a week and I heard from my brother that my parents will be back today.I'm happy they're back today but also I doubt that I will have this freedom again once they're home.Especially my dad.Yesterday,Jin oppa decided that the two of us will fetch our parents from the airport so,I put on my white T-shirt,black jeans and a pair Puma shoes given by Jungkook.I took my sling bag and went out.
"Oppa,I'm ready." I announced.
"Okay,let's go." I look at him and he looks so dashing in his casual clothes.We went out and Jin drove us to the airport.Our parents will arrive in about 45 minutes so,the two of us went to Starbucks to have a drink.
"Order anything that you want." Jin said as he took his wallet.
"Hot coffee and muffin,please." I ordered.Jin ordered his food and drink then while waiting we took a sit.I took out my phone and thought of something productive but none came up in my mind.
"You looked so serious..what are you thinking about?" Jin asked.
"I'm thinking of doing something productive since I'm bored here." I answered.
"Did you miss your boyfriend?" Jin gave me that sassy look.
"Oppa,he's not okay." I denied.
"Just admit it..I saw the two of you cuddling together last week..oh..so sweet!" Jin suddenly act so girly which made me look at him in disbelief.
"Did you eat too much until you became like this,oppa?" I asked him and he just laughed it away.What a weird brother I have here.
"Oppa,how does it feels to be in a relationship?" I asked him out of the blue which made him glare at me after he sipped his drink.
"Being in a relationship..for me it makes my day happier because I'm with someone who makes me happy entirely and most importantly the one who I love whole heartedly.Why did you ask?Thinking to make your relationship with Jungkook official already?" He answered then giggled.
"Can you please stop teasing me?It won't happen anyway.He loves some other girl while I'm here just being in a one sided love so,whatever you're thinking about me and Jungkook it was all a best friends relationship.Not more than that." I let out the truth.I saw the smile on his face fades away.I just sigh and drank my now cold coffee and muffin.
"Don't tell me you're giving up already." He said.I just shrugged not knowing what to answer because I don't know.
"In love,you should not give up although the person you love doesn't love you back.What if one day his heart will open up for you?You will not know right?Miracles could happen,Soyeon." He said sounding like a love doctor here.
"I never knew your second job after a chef is a love doctor.When did you graduated from your studies in love?" I asked him.
"Well,you know me.I'm the good looking Jin,okay?" He said proudly.
"I need you to save me..from this person who's pride is on fire.Let me out of here." I mumbled.
"Whatever,kid.Let's go our parents might take the taxi if we're late." Jin stood up and I followed him to the arrival gate.We stood near a pillar and I just look at the gate searching for my parents.Then,I saw them pulling their luggages..with a man talking to them.He looks around my age but older.
"Oppa,do you know who's that guy?" I asked Jin and pointed to the guy.
"No..but why is he walking with our parents anyway?" He answered.We went to greet our parents.
"Omma!Appa!" I waved at them and they replied my greet with a smile on their faces.
"Oh,it's so good looking at you two again." Omma said as she hugged the two of us together.
"We missed you,omma." Jin said.Our mom let us go and we hugged our dad.
"Appa,we miss you too." I said in the hug.
"Oh,really?My lovely daughter missed me?" He asked and I nodded.That's true..I missed him tho.After that short family reunion,our parents went to the guy who was talking to them earlier.
"Soyeon,meet Daniel.He's our friend's son and he came from America.He's just a year older than you.We want you to be friends with him and maybe you could show him places here in Korea to him?" Omma said and I just nodded.
"Hello,I'm Soyeon." I introduced myself.
"You have a beautiful name just like the person herself..my name is Daniel Lee." He answered and his voice is so manly.
"Hello Daniel-ssi..I'm Kim Seokjin.Soyeon's good looking brother." Jin interrupted.Daniel chuckles and I just can't help but face palmed myself.
Appa decided to take us all for lunch at a Korean food restaurant.It was really awkward in the car since I'm sitting in the middle with omma on my left and Daniel on my right.
"Oh!Before I forget,Daniel is going to stay with us for the meantime until he finds a house here.Get it,Jin?Soyeon?" Appa said.I just nodded and so do Jin.
"I hope the house is in a good condition when we arrive.." Omma said from the side.
"Don't worry,omma.We didn't burn the house while you were away.By the way,Miss Gong also came to the house yesterday so,no worries." I assured her.She just giggled at my sort-of-sarcastic answer.
"You surely loves to crack a joke." Daniel said to me.
"Nah..my jokes are bad.The real clown is in front there.Driving this car." I answered and looked at Jin from the front mirror.He glared at me and I just stucked my toungue out.We arrived at the restaurant and everybody went out.After everybody settled down,I ended up sitting next to Daniel.
"Sir,I want this.Also this and this lastly that." I pointed at the foods in the menu card.
"Wow..you're a big eater." Daniel said,he sounded so fascinated tho.
"Why?" I asked him.
"I never meet a girl who eats a lot before.You're the first." He answered.
"Oh,I should say this..I'm not the typical type of girl who loves dieting or eat less.I just eat to my heart's content.Just like my brother." I winked at Jin.
"I taught her that." Jin said sounded like a mom.The food arrived and all of us began eating.I realised that Daniel is picky about foods.He just eat the greens and a bit of the meat.No wonder he was quite skinny.If only Jungkook was here,he would eat everything to his heart content.
"I'll pay for the meal." Daniel said and went to the cashier.
"He's a good guy,right Soyeon?" Appa asked.
"He's fine.." I replied.
"Only fine?" He asked again.
"Yeah...what else could I say about him?" I answered him.
"Maybe..he's handsome or something." He spoke again.
"He's too skinny." I said and Jin laughed then we high-fived.Appa just gave me that I'm-so-done-of-you face and I just laughed it away.Daniel came back and after that,we went back home.
"So..uh..this is your room.If you need anything,just call me." I said to Daniel.
"Okay,can I know which is your room?" He asked.
"That one opposite Jin's room.I'll go now.Bye." I left him and entered my room.I sat on my bed,thinking of something that I could do to pass the time.I saw my colouring book and took it.I started colouring the book diligently and as time passed,I finished colouring three drawings already.Then,I heard my phone ringing.
"Yobuseyo~" I answered the call.
"Yeonnie..want to go out with me?" It was Jungkook.
"Where to?" I asked him.
"Shopping mall.I'm bored so,let's go shopping." He answered.
"Alright,call me when you're on your way here." I said to him and we hung up.I did some retouch on my look because I look so untidy this morning.I went out to the kitchen where I found my mom there.
"Omma,I'm going out with Jungkook." I said to her.
"Oh,why don't you bring Daniel together?You could show him places around here." She replied.
"I'm sure Daniel must be tired from his flight here.Can he join me maybe next time?" I said a bit unsure.It's not that I didn't like Daniel following us but I need time to be friends with strangers.
"Okay,just let him rest then." Omma answered.I smiled at her and I went to the living room.I was bored so I watched the TV.I was still flipping the channels,but none of it was interesting to me.Then,I heard the door being knocked.I went in front and opened the door.
"Soyeon!"
