I yawned my eyelids growing heavy I glanced at Alpha Xavier sideways as he read something that I'm not really interested in
I tried not to get blinded by his beauty the dark hair of his almost covering his eyes as he hung his head low but I could still see the shinning blue of his eyes
"I'm sleepy" I informed him, he looked at me for a while before training his eyes back at the book he was reading "Then sleep" he said with a shrug
I grimaced at him crossing my arms "I'm sleepy" I said again this time with more stress
He glanced at me again before sighing as if I exasperate him he snapped his book shut and rose from the couch
"Let's sleep then" he said heading towards the chair where my room is located my feet halted when we were infront of the door the cuffs making little noises as metal against metal hit each other
I peered at him as he opened the door like he owned the place I bit my lip nervously and Alpha Xavier smirked at me very slightly
"Take it easy love, I can sleep on the floor" he said and I puffed my cheeks handing him a pillow and blanket from my closet my eyes not meeting his
I watched him as he dropped the blanket and pillow on my floor his biceps flexing with the movement
I sat on my bed my hand following his movement as he shut the lamp off the darkness suddenly surrounded me but the light of the moon that seeped through my windows giving me enough light to see him
He glanced at me as I slowly slipped myself under the blankets and lied down facing the ceiling my hand dangling on the floor where Alpha Xavier lay
I stared at the ceiling the feeling of being sleepy long forgotten, I never felt so awake my whole life
Under the moon the mate bond vibrated the strings that connected my heart to his
I turned on my side to see his beautiful face, his cheekbone and strong jaw making him look like an angel his red lips looking permanently swollen the dark lashes caressing his cheeks lightly
"I thought you said you were sleepy" he said his eyes snapping open my eyes widened and I quickly rested my head on the pillow pretending to sleep
"Hey you awake" he asked his voice rippling through the darkness I closed my eyes tighter "Yes" I said before rpt hiking about it I put my hand against my stupid mouth
"No" I said my voice muffled by my hand I wanted to groan "I mean I'm not talking" I said with finality
He just chuckled not saying anything else...
I rubbed my eyes feeling a jolt that instantly wiped off all the sleepiness left in me
I saw Alpha Xavier his tall form looming down on me as he stand beside my bed,
"Finally" he said impatiently looking at his watch seeing his face first thing in the morning seemed like both a beautiful blessing and a painful curse
"Good morning" I mumbled stretching my one arm then I remembered "Scratch that no good morning you lied to me" I said reminding both him and me
I saw his face clear with impatience a blank look taking its place
He clicked his tongue dragging me to the kitchen we ate the left over pizza in silence
He ran his fingers through his hair before leaning off the counter heading towards the bathroom
"What are you doing?" I ask quickly "I'm going to get a shower" he answered simply
Oh dear universe, what have I ever done to you?
I stared at him in silence as he went inside the shower dragging the shower curtain close one of my hands with it I feel him tearing his shirt off using his claws
I heard his belt unbuckle the shower started I could here the drops of water hitting his skin I could feel the steam in my hand
My eyes widened when I felt the back of my hand hitting his hair burying through the soapy foam
I took a deep breath when I go felt my hand glide down from his hair to his pulsing neck I felt the back of my hand slide down his shoulders
I clenched my teeth together balling my hand together I could literally say that my heart stopped beating when my hand hit his abdomen in a quick touch of skin on skin
I gulped and tried to tug my hand but the cuff won't let it I hear his muffled laughter the rough the shower curtain
I heard the shower stop and I could finally breathe again I hear him shuffling before he went out I covered my eyes with my free hand just in case he wasn't wearing something descent or anything at all
He took my hand off my eyes his face inches from mine his eyebrow quirked to the side
"I'm descent" he said with a smirk I looked down at him he was wearing a change of jeans but his torso was bare
I stepped back to keep myself from staring at the droplets of water that glided from his neck to his chest to the ridges pf his abdomen
I looked at myself in the mirror and saw my own dull grey eyes staring back at me cloaked with my glasses my cheeks flaming red
I closed my eyes and shook my head turning away from him eyes still closed there was knock on the door and Alpha xave went to open it I tried to ignore the way the muscles on his back rippled in an inviting way
"Hey Scaredypup missed me?" Raven asked a playful smile on his lips behind him is...just the person I couldn't wait not to see
You guessed it "Hey jenna" I greeted in my fakest voice
