(8) Ara has a New Power

Renesmee watched as her twin sister slept soundly. She put her bronze hair up into a ponytail and got to work. She went inside Carlisle's office where he was working on his computer. He looked up,
"How can I help you Ness?" he asked.
Renesmee walked forward and put her hand on his cheek. She had learned this couple of days ago when Jake didn't do what she wanted. She had learned how to persuade people into doing what she had wanted. She had called it Compulsion.
She had learned that this is what Nightwalkers use to get what they want. She had always thought that they were stuck up. It's a good thing that Cold Ones have better sense.
Carlisle looked at Renesmee in confusion. She was showing him stuff, no telling, him stuff. She was saying to chase away Arabella as far as he can in the forest. Carlisle wanted to stop but he couldn't pull away. It was as if he was in some kind of trance.
Renesmee saw Carlisle's pupils dilate. She can feel hers dilate too. Once she pulled away Carlisle felt normal, as if the encounter never happened. She smirked before putting on her innocent face.
"Arabella is still sleeping. I wanted to play with her," she said sweetly.
Carlisle sighed and rubbed his head, "Renesmee you have to stay away from her. She is a monster,"
"No she isn't she is my twin. It's like your calling me a monster," she cried. Carlisle regretted what he had said. He saw the tears that were streaming down Renesmee's face.
"I'm sorry Nessie. She isn't a monster," he hugged her. When Renesmee hugged back she smiled over his shoulder. Stupid old man, she thought. Do you really think I care if Arabella was my sister or not? She's just a mistake, a curse. Renesmee pretended to sniffle before breaking out from the hug.
"Thanks Grandpa Carlisle. I'll just go play with Jake," she said.
Carlisle watched as Renesmee walked out the room. He had a feeling that she was up to something. But he doesn't care. All he knew was that whatever it was it won't change the fact that everyone was happy, even if Ara was a Nightwalker.
Ara woke up to the feeling that someone was poking her. She opened her eyes and saw that Crystal was above her poking her with her index finger. Her face was full of concentration and her tongue was slightly poking out.
"What are you doing?" Ara asked.
She finally looked up and sighed. "Finally, you woke up. I've been trying to wake you up for about 15 minutes," She looked down at her watch, "Yeah 15 minutes."
Ara groaned and looked at the clock. For some strange reason she felt as if time has stopped.
"Well its only 9:30 what did you need me for?" she said turning back to Crystal.
She gasped as she saw Crystal in the same position not moving at all.
"Crystal?" she whispered. She looked back at the call and saw the clock had stopped moving.
What is going on, she thought. She looked back at the clock and tried to think. What was the last thing that she did before the time has stopped. She got an imaginary light bulb before looking back at the clock.
Come on, come on. Just go back a minute before or something, Arabella thought. Then suddenly she felt as if she was being sucked into a tube before she got sucked back into her own body.
She blinked as she faced a worried Crystal.
"Are you okay?" Crystal asked. Ara blinked again and faced the clock. It was exactly a minute before the time stopping thingy.
"I have a new power," Ara said.

"What's the power called again?" Crystal asked.
"Molecular immobilization, time warping, or chronokinesis," Arabella answered.
"And what's the other one called?" Crystal asked again.
"What other one are you talking about?" Arabella asked confused.
"The one you discovered during the battle!" Crystal exclaimed.
"Oh, it's called Astral Telepathy." Arabella explained. "Eleazar said that I should work with dad to reach other levels like Astral Precognition or Empathy."
"That's cool," Crystal said. Arabella nodded before she smiled at her. Her powers were going to be strong. While the girls were chatting they didn't realize that there was an extra shadow in the room. The shadow grinned before disappearing.

The ending was horrible. But I tried. Anyways Arabella as I said before can develop other powers by herself without using her Power Mimicry. It's because Nightwalkers were made by magic so she can develop more powers because she has a hint of magic in her blood. There's a wonderful twist in this story that will sure be explained in the sequel.
