*Kisames P. O. V*
"I don't get it? How are we suppose to find this little girl? " I grumbled to no one in particular as we walked through the village.
"I don't know, un. But Leader-sama wants her so we got to find her. " Deidara said as he scratched the back of his head.
"Tobi's a good boy! " Tobi continued on yelling. I still question Leader-sama on his choice on letting this bumbling idiot Into The Akatsuki, a group of S-rank criminals.
"Tobi for the last time. Shut the hell up! Un!" Deidara yelled as he smacked Tobi upside the head.
I just sighed as I tuned the two out, as I began to think of a way to find Mai.
"Tobi thinks we should go to Mai-chans home! " Tobi yelled happily as he skipped ahead.
Me and Deidara froze as we stared at the bumbling idiot skipping ahead of us.
"Is it me or did Tobi just actually say something smart...?" Deidara asked. I nodded my head. "Ok. Then its official. We're stupid."
"Whatever...." I grumbled. "We don't even know where the girl lives."
"Yea. She lives in an Orphanage and there is only one orphanage in the village." Deidara explained.
"Then lead the way." I muttered as I gestured him forward.
"Tobi's a good boy!"
*Time Skip*
I stared ahead at the large blue house that looked way to happy to be an orphanage. Eh, whatever.
We walked forward and walked in. I looked around and noticed that there were no kids running around laughing. We walked up to an older looking lady that was picking up a bunch of toys. As we got closer to her I notice she tensed up as she saw us. I don't blame her though. We are members of the Akatsuki, a group of S-ranked criminals.
"Y-yes...h-how can I h-h-h-help you...?" She stuttered out with a wavering smile.
"Were here looking for a child named Mai Kurochi." I said. I noticed as her eyes widened a bit.
"Oh follow me then...has Mai done something wrong? She's usually such a well behaved little girl...." The lady said as she led us down a hall way.
We just ignored her as she continued leading us down the hall as a voice of a child singing filled our ears.
"Is that her...?" Deidara asked with wide eyes.
"Yes. That's our little Mai. She is quite the talented one." She said smiling as she opened up a room revealing a bunch of kids, ranging from infant sized to 17, and other workers spread out. Mai was in the front singing with a small smile while singing the same black and red teddy bear she had a few nights ago as some older kids played instruments.

As the song finished the kids and Tobi began cheering for Mai, snapping me and Deidara out of our mini daze.
"Mai, can you come here please?" The lady called the young girl.
Mai looked over at us and nodded before taking small steps towards us. "Mai, I want you to meet..."
"Deidara-un!" The blonde male said smirking. "This is Kisame and-"
"Tobi!" The idiot himself yelled as he jumped up in front of Mai and crouching down to her height. "You can really sing Mai-chan!"
Mai looked at him for a second before she glanced at me and smiled as she walked up to me and wrapped her arms around my leg.
"Eeehhhhh!?" Tobi whined as he was ignored by the small girl.
"We will be taking her-un!" Deidara said as he turned to the woman. The children began whining as the woman turned towards them and began shushing them.
"Of course then....who will be the one taking custody over her and being the legal parent?" She asked.
Deidara cant be the parent since he is still a bit to young and i'm not even goin to think of Tobi. So I guess that leaves me. Sigh~
"It will be me." I sighed out as I scratched the back off my head.
"Good! Good!" The lady said cheerfully though I could see she was still a little unsure on if she wanted to give the little girl to us.
She led us to another room where I had to sign some papers officially stating that Mai will be ours.
"Now listen closely, " The woman says seriously as she looked over at Mai who was having a staring contest with Tobi before looking back at me "That child has been through so much pain and sorrow. She is a very sweet girl but she as well also has her ups and downs. And quite a few of them. She also has a very severe allergy to peanuts." She explained.
I nodded understanding what she was saying. She smiled at me before stamping two stacks of papers before handing one to me. "This is your set of documents and the other is mine. Mai is now under your custody and she can leave."
I nodded at her before standing up and walking out of the small room. Once Mai caught sight of me, she instantly ran over to me as she grabbed my hand. Her other holding on to the bear.
I looked at her for a minute before looking at the other two and nodding. Deidara grabbed her bag and we began heading outside. Unfortunately though, it was raining. I picked Mai up and brought her inside my cloak and walked out of the building.
The said small girl curled up into my chest as she held the bear tightly.
It took us an hour of us walking in the cold pouring rain too finally get back to the base. Tobi walked in front and did the necessary hand signs making the large rock move and let us in.
We walked another ten minutes until we finally got to the front door which Tobi happily swung open yelling. "Tobi's a good boy!"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Hidan's loud voice yelled from inside causing me to groan in annoyance as we walked in.
"Do you have the girl?" Leader-sama asked as he walked into the main room followed by the rest of the Akatsuki.
"Hai." I replied as I opened my cloak up to reveal the small sleeping girl with flushed cheeks as she snuggled up into my chest more.
